This property was nice, outside of the property was okay. I mainly used Uber and rickshaw to get around. Delhi has a lot of shopping areas. There were a lot of people begging, I was there for India Independence Day and it was nice. I did not really eat the hotel, and if I did I paid the bill instead of charging it to the room. Upon checking out I was billed for a dinner i did not have and I still had the receipt for the dinner I paid for, the person had terrible hand writing so I needed the manager to rectify the bil

Service was excellent. The attention to detail was exceptional. The art work and interior detail in the lobby area was great. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend as it’s also centrally located to all the sites. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Delhi.

The stay was good but the hotel staff was giving contradictory information - upon my check in, I was told to have access to the lounge, but then the card did not work for the lounge floor. Upon my inquiry at the front desk, one confirmed my access the other one did not. I would expect more professionalism. I use this hotel for years but they will need to better train staff.

The breakfast service is not buffet that I was expecting. The hotel arranged a buffet if the hotel has high occupancy of guests , else it’s ala- carte. This should be mentioned on the booking conditions on hotels.com website. It was not mentioned at checkin, nor on day 1 when we had buffet breakfast. The second day there was only on order and as we were in hurry, could not get a quick breakfast which would have been much easier in buffet setting. They however accommodate the breaks fast request for any food that they can make. Quality of food is good.

The Service by hotel staff was excellent. The restaurants (Machan, Varq) however were understaffed and slow to respond to customers - long wait for service, had to remind Machan atatt repeatedly about coffee/juice at breakfast and Varq forgot about dish ordere at dinner)

The service at the Taj in India was top notch. The staff were warm and welcoming, everyone including the cleaning staff. The room was modern and clean. The pool was well kept. The biggest thing that stands out to me is how the staff made me feel, welcomed and honored. Thanks so much, can't imagine staying anywhere else in india.

A beautiful hotel, a bit outdated, the rooms are nice especially the bathroom is excellent, my refrigerator in the room did not work which was surprising in such a luxurious hotel. The pool is nice but there is a crazy problem of mosquitoes in the evening.

High overall standard which make the hotel to one of the best in Delhi. Quite similar to Taj Palace though probably a bit more "business soberly". The personnel is, except for a few exceptions, quite neutral and reserved. The hotel is heavily used for wedding celebrations, though this does not bother at all. The restaurants provide fantastic food though on the costlier side. Two different options for breakfast: buffet restaurant and a-la-carte. I would definitely recommend the latter! Though there is no option to eat outside on the terrace (which Taj Palace provides.) Pool and garden area is great and spacious. The only weird feature is that one needs to cross the entire lobby area when coming from the pool.

Warm greeting and they deliver bags to the room. Easy checkin. Welcome drink of choice delivered to my room. Clean and nice room. A la carte breakfast of high quality. Large outdoor pool with good service, although traffic noise is noticeable. Tried a couple of the restaurants, and very happy with them. Spa service is very good, with great facilities. Highly recommended

A real five star hotel. Food and restaurant staff were great. We really like the individual attention where a hotel staff member actually guided us to the room and introduced himself to us for any further assistance. The hotel looks very clean and even smells fresh and clean. Will definitely stay in the hotel again in the future and tell friends about it as well. Also this hotel was not as crowded and full of buzz as Taj Palace hotel at all. We were happy that we chose this hotel over Taj Palace Hotel. O, We enjoyed the quietness outside the hotel too. And we enjoyed the view with birds flying over the forest too. Anyway, the hotel really provided us with a different and pleasant insight into India at the end of our 15 days trip in India.
