Very nice hotel, however, I felt that the use of an umbrella on the beach should have been included in the resort fee we paid per day.
I also would have preferred to self park.
The room we had was very nice and comfortable, clean, comfortable bed, roomy.
Great location and nice beach and pool access

Our room didn’t have an Air Conditioning Control inside the room. Can you believe it? It was outside the room, sharing with another room. The same for whashing machine.

I booked this hotel for a father daughter trip with my 11 year old for a beach weekend. Upon checking in, we were greeted and checked in, service was fine. Our room was fine as well, can tell it needs some upkeep as the walls and doors are all chipped. Our door didn’t lock because it looked like someone had kicked the door in and messed up the lock, thought that was odd. The pool and beach access are the highlight here. Being able to just walk out to the beach is great. Pool is also nice. Food and drinks were fine but pricey, which is to be expected. They automatically tip themselves 18% as well. Onsite Starbucks was nice. Overall, experience was good but the resort itself can use some love. Shoutout to the worker at the towel hut who explained to us what the loud horns were for when the storms rolled through.

Still some renovations pending but we had a great time. Patricio and Genesis from the restaurant were great. Rosita is always so attentive and she gave us great drinks.

The customer service was amazing. Max at the front desk was super helpful and very friendly. He greeted each guest with a smile even though he was very busy. He took time to give input on dining choices and area attractions. Rosita at the bar, was also very friendly. Smiling the whole time she was serving guests. She provided alot of great tips for food and shopping to all of us at the bar.

When we checked in, they gave us a big 2 bedrooms suite on the ocean but it was old and needed renovations. This is not the first time we stay in this hotel. So, we asked them for a lower floor for safety concerns for our son. The concierge told us that there is a room that just got emptied so we went to see it and it was on the eighth floor and same as the ones we had before. Staff is very friendly and the suite was so beautiful. Only issue we had was that they charged us $50 a day for valet parking because we rented a big SUV.

The good: They change the towels daily, they are spotless, the beds are in good condition, and the view is amazing. The apartment is big. The bad: On the first day, I had to bathe with a cockroach. The kitchen has no cookware set, I just found a pan, which made it difficult to prepare food for my baby. At the entrance, the carpet on the floor was wet.

The hotel was great! Nice pool and direct beach acces.
The rooms are nice and spacious, they are a bit outdated and need some attention but still good enough.
The rest of the hotel is great exept for the valet! The valet took (stole) money out of my car on more than one occasion! I even left some on purpose to see if it was still there next time.. no it wasn’t… i mentioned this at the hotel desk but i don’t think they did anything.

My room was dirty so I went downstairs. They gave me another room, but the appliance was broken. The manager was very rude and disrespectful and nasty and then he wanted to change my room like four days later I said take all my taxes off. I will never stay in this hotel ever again.

Watch out for hidden fees upon arrival. You will be charged $40 a day for valet ‘not optional’
You will be charged $25 a day for two chairs and towels for the beach and if you pay for the breakfast, it’s $20 per person if you go over that amount you will be charged extra. And we were looking forward to the sauna, steam room and hot tub, which all were not working.

Is great place for vacation

I never leave reviews but my recent stay was very disappointing. We came to the room and air conditioner was not working. I went downstairs to let front desk person know and she said she will send someone. 2 hr later no one came. Wanted to dial front desk. Phone was not working. Went downstairs to tell again and she finally sent someone to address issue. No apology or anything for inconvenience. Felt like I bothered her and took time from her checking instagram.
We got room cleaned 3rd day there which was ok. We said not to clean other days. Beds were made but bathroom was not. Towels were not changed.
Remote control in room was working half time only at the certain angle.
Rooms are very outdated so overall stay is very disappointing

The hotel is in a very convenient location right in front of the beach providing excellent views and it has a park right next to it for the kids. The frozen drinks and food sold in the bar are delicious and well cooked, pool area is clean and not too crowded!

Everything is broken or something is always breaking, more stress then vocation in this location

Absolutely horrible hotel. They canceled our reserved stay the same day we were supposed to check in. They told me it was due to engineering issues however when Expedia called them on my behalf and they told Expedia they overbooked their hotel. Completely incompetent and inconvenient. The Double Trees error in canceling my reservation the day of check in cause me to spend an additional $600 at another hotel that was further from my destination.

The only thing they could really improve on is the elevators, not enough for so many floors.

Great location, just in front of the ocean and close to grocery shops and restaurants.
The hotel is nice but old, the TVs don't even have YouTube. The pool is not great as the water is not clear. I went swimming with my son and we couldn't see anything under the water.

No room cleaning service if you not asking. Waiting time for elevators like 15-20 minutes? Really? Dirty seating areas near the pool. No dishsoap . Some other rooms had it. Had to call 3-4 time, just to get clean towels.

I don’t recommend this hotel at all. Especially if you want to spend your vacations somewhere, this is the worst option.
