I shared a spacious room with my 2 adult kids at Lazy J"s and we were very comfortable. 2 queens AND 2 singles . Clean comfortable bedding, extra blankets (our trip was in Nov) , enough towels in the bathroom. Maid service replaced everything correctly each day. We drove up from LA and arrived at 8:45 pm but were still welcomed at reception.Very friendly atmosphere. Parked right in front of our room. As it was dark when we arrived we had no idea what lovely views would greet us the next day. Great place to drive into Sequoia National Park each day. Room had fridge & microwave & coffee machine so we were able to eat in room. Had a wonderful stay. Humming birds galore!!!

Room was cute and comfy, we stayed overnight. Unfortunately there was a power outage and there wasn’t really any places to eat

I loved everything about this place! The property was decked out for Halloween, so fun. If we had had more time, I would have loved to use the pool, as it was very hot on our arrival. Our room was almost too clean -- the smell of cleaning products was overpowering when we entered the cabin, so we opened all the windows and turned on the fan to air it out. Highly recommend!

We were ery well received. They pay attention to details and prices are honest. Very satisfied.

Everything was great from check in to check out. People were very friendly and helpful. The units are older but in excellent condition and very well maintained. Very clean. Only 6 miles from the entrance of Sequoia National Park. Thank you for a great stay.

What a lovely motel Lazy J Ranch turned out to be. Even though the rooms are not modern, they are clean and homey. There is a pool and the location is fantastic.
4.6
We love this place. Great view of the surrounding mountains. There was a nice cat in the office and a lot of humming birds outside. Very peaceful.

We loved our family stay here. Perfect place to base yourself before heading into Sequoia national park. Stunning setting with mountain views all around. Nice pool. Seats dotted around the place to enjoy a coffee looking at the view. Friendly welcome on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

The Lazy J is an old style motel with two rooms per small building, where you park right in front of your room. The room was clean and had been renovated at some point in the past. The beds were ok. The room had a window air conditioner which kept up pretty well in 95 degree heat. They have a pool which we didn’t use, and there are restaurants within a mile or so. It’s not *5 star* like I’d give to an urban hotel, but I’d say it was good value if you’re looking for a clean place to stay close to Sequoia National Park.

Cozy cottage style rooms.Super spacious and clean bathroom. Parking right in front of your room is a huge bonus

I was hesitant to stay at a 2 star hotel but the reviews were good. We agree. The motel was clean, and the staff were friendly. There were lots of personal touches to make the experience nice. We recommend!

This was a cute little motel, room was clean and even had a working fridge which is important to someone with meds that must be cooled. There were a couple of little tecnical issues which were quickly solved. The front desk person was very couteous and good.

Kind reception, Clean and cozy room.

This property was so cute. It was quiet and the parking was convenient. The room was very clean, updated and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It had a nice pool with a volleyball net and a swing set. There is even river access. We will be staying here again!

Nice location, near lake and river. Near Restaurants like pizza factory. Thanks for the lady at reception, she gave a room upgrade with 2 bedrooms, which is convenient for us. Rooms are clean and well maintained. 2 separate air conditioners did great job in the hot summer weather. There is a hike route to river side, also a close by farm with sheep.

We loved this property. It was a lovely spot. The room was comfortable & the A/C worked well. It was nice to visit the goats & sheep in the morning. The only thing we didn’t like was the overly fragrant cleaning supplies & the room was full of stinky fake fragrance. We prefer non toxic fragrance free cleaning products.

We stayed only one night so we could his Sequoia park. This is a good place to stay at and was OK, except for the bed. The bed was so soft I got a backache after one night on their bed.

Wonderful rustic well kept property. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great little spot near Sequoia NP, would definitely recommend. Excellent staff.

Comfortable established motel in Three Rivers. Very convenient for an overnight stay before a short journey into Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park.
Comfortable bed, clean room, air con and a bonus of a ceiling fan. Situated in very well kept gardens adjoining a river. Small outdoor pool was handy but the water could be a bit cleaner. No food options and nearby eclectic mix of restaurants are a drive away and some close quite early. We would happily stay there again.

Really special little gem. We were greeted with friendliness when we arrived.
We spent most of the evening swimming in the outdoor pool, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The room is cozy and smells nice and clean. The beds are more firm, which I like. Everyone slept well. I would love to stay here again if I’m in the area.

This is a very cute and family friendly property. The units themselves are average, bed was decent. Good to have a table and chairs to sit at. Laundry facilities are available and that is a plus. We had some issues with scents in the room. We got there in time to ask for a fan to help vent the room and that helped but didn't remove all of it. Most people do not have issues with scents as my husband does but this room was too strong for him. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff was super nice and friendly, and the Ranch was beautiful and fun, with sheep, goats, hummingbirds, etc. not to mention the pool and a play structure for kids. The carpet in the room could use cleaning or replacement, but otherwise the room was clean. We loved our stay, and will return!

Close to the three rivers entrance of Sequoia!
Housekeeping was great.
There sadly was a gap at the bottom of the door, several bugs would get in throughout the day, and even had to remove a lizard.

Stunning little place, loved every bit of it. Room was very clean. Everything was perfect!

What a peaceful pastoral setting very near the entrance to Sequoia National Park! Wish we could have spent more time...but we were here to see the park. Would highly recommend.

We were there on a Saturday night. Several of the other guests were outside partying. Parking became difficult when people who weren't staying at the facility arrived to visit those who were. Room was adequate but we figured the last time it was renovated was probably the late 70's.

Cozy and friendly. Loved the sheep, goats, and hummingbirds. Worth it.

We had booked this as a one night stay during a week long roadtrip. We had been camping in Northern California the night before. After a quick check in and dinner, we came back to what we thought was a clean room. Instead, there were gnats all over the bathroom wall, beetles in the shower and sink, and then we found a spider in the bed. After getting rid of that one, and pulling back another pillow, there was second (smaller) spider. Unfortunately the staff was gone for the evening and we called to see if something could be done - no one picked up since they leave at 9. We ended up leaving since we didn’t feel comfortable staying the night and rather drive to our next destination early. I’m disappointed I ended up experiencing more bugs in this room than when I was sleeping in my tent.

Perfekt Motel for your stay at Sequoia!
Spacious rooms which were very clean and cozy. I would especially like to highlight the gardens and surroundings! Everything is well kept and beautiful. Perfekt to relax after a long day of hiking. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. And there's plenty of animals who like being petted!

Very cute place. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The cat in the lobby was adorable! Rooms were a very good size, clean, had a decent size fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffee machine with complementary pods.

Such a quaint, beautiful place. I just wished we were staying longer and not just one night. Quiet, clean, relaxing outside porch, nice grass areas. Pet friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Very cute place to stay. Little cabins that are clean and well cared for. The entire property is fun to walk and there is river access. I’d definitely stay here again.
