Functional and convenient

Adequate but never memorable and check was slow held up by one guest who needed assistance but no other staff came to help for some time. Baggage storage charge to put in AND take out, but cost wasn’t mentioned at the time.

Friendly staff. Only missing tea coffee making facilities in the room

Clean comfortable hotel. Very quiet with the window closed. Noisy when it was open. Wifi connection was intermittent.

Very large room over looking Gare Midi. Thought their would be a lot of street noise but there wasnt. Had a late dinner in the bar and it was very good. Bartender was great.

it was very bad. i got insect bites on my feet (several in each foot), which made me woke up in the middle of the night as i had to scratch my feet as i feel very itch. second day it got worse. i can feel my feet are sawllen and keep feeling very itch. i am not sure whether it is a bed bug or not. i have to check and see. it is disappointing that i had to deal with this situation after selling in a hotel like ibis. what is the point of paying expensive if i need worry about insect bites.

Does a job for a stay near the station!
2.5 / 5.0
This place is perfect for a stay near the train station. The breakfast was great. I was able to get a late checkout so I could be comfortable before catching the train. This area is busy. But I felt safe in the hotel. Grand Place was about 18 minutes walking. I did this solo. You might prefer to taxi.

Very unsafe neighborhood. My first review was not accepted by Expedia, because I was too specific what happened to us.

Close to eurostar station

It was conveniently located to the train station and the bed was comfortable although I had to ask reception for 2 more pillows. The breakfast was expensive for what it was & paying for storage of our luggage after check-out was disappointing. Neither the budget Ibis in Bruges nor the Hotel Lille in Lille charged for storing our luggage on check-out from our room.

The area where the hotel is in feels a bit unsafe and dirty. It’s also a bit far walking to the centre of the city. However, staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Very near to the Midi station, good facilities, sports bar with access to PL and other events.
Easy access to City centre via Tram/Metro etc.
Didnt have a kettle though (or tea/coffee in the room), which would've been nice.
Excellent breakfast and the custom waffle maker.
4.0 / 5.0
Very close to Brussels Midi station and Metro. Good breakfast. Only downsides: floor under the bed had not been cleaned. Leaving luggage in paid-for lockers was cheaper than alternatives but was a hassle.

It is a very convenient location. Surrounding area is not that nice.

The IBIS is okay but basic. Paper cups in rooms. The noise from neighbours was loud and late, which meant the window had to be kept closed.

No Mini fridge, i was with two toddlers had to keep going to the reception to ask to get my stuff from the fridge, the staff was getting annoyed and some of them have bad attitude some are ok. safe is at the reception. Some of the stuff have a stuck up attitude similar to the ones in france. But France was worse. Only good thing was it was right next to the station, good food places near. One of my room had a toilet blockage they didn’t bother fixing it. I stayed for four nights and not once our sheets got changed even though i left the note on door.

Hotel is in great location from the station and that’s it. Also breakfast was great lots of choices. Room was spacious bed comfortable but very basic no fridge no safe. People outside hotel terrible. Location outside terrible and messy. Another great thing were lockers in basement to leave your luggage.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the center and easy mobility to anywhere
The staff is very friendly and attentive to what you need.
The room is quite spacious and you can rest comfortably.

We literally stayed here as a stopover, arriving after 10.30pm and leaving 7.30pm. We were in an accessible triple room, which had plenty of space. Everything we needed. We would have been happy staying here for a couple nights longer, as it was only a couple of minutes away from the railway station.

Very convenient for the train station. Room was large, clean and quiet but we were a bit hot.
Both check-in and departure staff were absolutely charming.

The property was great for location to train station but nothing else

Clean and the staff were helpful
1.5 / 5.0
Only worthwhile for the convenience to the train station. The staff were helpful. The bathroom was clean. The linens we received (towels and pillow cases) were stained, which was definitely off putting. If you’re only passing through and need a place for the night, it’s probably ok, but for Americans, this place is maybe a small step up from a Motel 6.

The property was perfect for a short stay. It is in a rough area with homeless and trash in the street. Close to train station so.if you are coming in late night it is better than walking further in the area.

We decided to stay in this hotel on our drive from France to Amsterdam. The website listed parking for 25 euros but there actually was no onsite parking. We got to the hotel after midnight and the hotel was surrounded by homeless people we parked right in front of the hotel and the reception told us that the hotel does not provide parking even though I showed her the Expedia booking where it said there was parking for 25 euro at the hotel and she said it was not correct but gave me an address to a garage near by that charged almost 50 Euros and said that she did not recommend us parking on the street because our car will get broke into because it’s a rental . I already did not feel safe when we were parking but she also basically confirmed to me that the area was not safe . I would have never booked that hotel if there was no parking . If you do not have a car it is located across a train station but other than that the area is very sketchy at night

The hotel was very clean and is super conveniently located, right across the street from Gare de Midi and restaurants, but the real shining star of this place is the staff. Kind and wonderfully helpful, the staff what really made our stay special.

I stayed at the Ibis because it's just a 3-minute walk to the Midi train station, giving me easy access to everywhere. The rooms were good. Just a heads up: if you need to store your luggage at the hotel, there's an automatic system that costs between 4 to 7 euros per day.

Ibis hotel was in a convenient location right by the MIDI train station. Just a 2 minute walk, Also a 20 minute walk to the city center. The room had no safety deposit box and no refrigerator but it was clean.

Very close to Bruxelles Midi station for Eurostar. Despite late 1.45am arrival due to 4 hour late train from Koln, 24-check in was friednly and efficient, with very spacious room.

Staff Terrible.

Not a good place to stay.
4.0 / 5.0
Very easy to reach from train station. There is always receptionist(s) there which make us feel safe. Bad smell of smoking goes to our room until mid night when the restaurant close. We request for extra hangers and it takes a whole day to deliver to our room until we remind the front desk for the third time. Overall, it is a nice hotel to stay for traveller, easy to go around the city.

It was difficult to figure out the transportation system hit overall we had a nice time.
1.5 / 5.0
Terrible experience no water in the room, no kettle. Very expensive but it’s just opposite to the train station.
1.5 / 5.0
The location is perfect right outside the station and the hotel looked good, the staff are really friendly.
The rooms though are a little basic and run down, theres not many facilities in the rooms and even the kettle is a communal one at the bar.
4.0 / 5.0
Location is convenient for travel, but you don’t feel safe around hotel.
