Promoted as having free breakfast ! NO BREAKFAST or credit given for not having it. Got up earllier than needed to access breakfast. No notice given at check in.

It was amazing! The room was soooooo clean! I had the suite with the Jacuzzi. The reception was great at customer service! And the breakfast was fair. Thank you so much! I will be coming again for sure!

It was good the gentleman in the front counter is coming around more friendly had a good conversation with him. I saw the lady again working at the counter which is very friendly, sorry I am terrible with names. The young man kept up with the breakfast items, if they only had scrambled eggs. Thx

Clean and quiet. The shuttle bus take you to the casino and runs until 2:45am.. super convenient. Clean room clean beds . Super wonderful staff.

Lady at the front desk was awesome. She was friendly and helpful. I don’t see good service at other hotels we’ve stayed at. I would stay again vs staying at a larger hotel nearby.

Staff at check-in and check-out were awful-rude and unhelpful. Room was clean enough, but super outdated and in need of repair. Stains on walls and ceilings, damaged fan/light unit in bathroom, peeling wall paper, ancient TV. Would NOT stay here again or recommend to others.

I don’t understand why any hotel in 2024 would offer smoking rooms. But this one does. Our room was definitely a no smoking room but it smelled so bad, it was almost unbearable. I was there with my family so it was a huge inconvenience especially since they were sold out and had no other rooms. I complained and was told someone would reach out and that they usually offer $25 refund for my troubles. Not good enough. Having to breathe in cigarette smoke all night long and subject my family to that is disgusting.

The room still had a strong odor but did dissipate a little. The gentleman working in the morning was so rude to a customer that turned me right off from checking out. I left my key in the room. I don’t usually write a bad review but this guy needs to GO! Checking in, the woman was awesome. Great personality & helpful..

Pros : Staff was super friendly. Hotel was really clean. Ac works great!! Breakfast waffles are yummy. Location is nice qnd close to alot. Cons: uncomfortable bed and pillows. Showers need updated. Shower heads are super small and the knobs make it hard to find the right temperature. Frozen butter isnt easy for bagels, toast or waffles. Should be kept to thaw out for breakfast time.

The room was nice enough, but we made the mistake of paying up front, and when we had to leave after one night due to a family emergency (granddaughter hospitalized for cranial surgery), they wouldn't refund ANY of our money. Hotels.com even went to bat for us, but even after bring made aware of the extenuating circumstances, they refused to work with us at all. I understand policy, but I also understand a little compassion and human decency. Unfortunately, the almighty dollar won out with this place. Would NOT recommend unless you have money you can afford to lose.

The Hilltop Inn was a great place to stay. Good location, a friendly and courteous staff. The room was extremely clean and neat. The facility is large and has suites and conference rooms as well. A afternoon and late night shuttle takes patrons to Foxwoods Casino. A Continental breakfast is included. Two suggestions. Get rid of the mini pillows, and check the channels on the TV. Many were missing or scrambled.

August 26, 2024 Stayed here overnight. As you enter the room it reeks of whatever spray they use to clean. Had to leave the air on high and door open for 30 minutes. Helped a bit. Went to dinner and was finally a bit more tolerable when we returned. There is a unit that looks like a refrigerator and is plugged in but does not chill drinks. They call it a cooling unit??? Never in my life have I heard of this, and besides, what is the point? It takes up space and serves no purpose. Get refrigerators! Now I need a tissue. There is a box on the counter. I find 3 tissues curled up to make a flower on top of the box. Cute idea, until I remove the flower to find an empty box! Had to use toilet paper instead. I go to plug in my phone. I put the plug into the outlet and it falls out when I let go. So I try the bottom outlet. Same thing. I had to push the chair against the plug so it would stay. Next morning we get to breakfast. There are fruit loops, white bread, bagels, oatmeal and a waffle maker. So I make the waffle and look all around for the butter. Ask at the desk and he says, oh yeah we're out. Gee thanks. Barely looks up at me and offers no apology or friendly anything. He looked bothered to be there. 5 bread items and no butter. No juice. No yogurt. No fruit. Thank goodness we only stayed one night. I happened to get a deal on the room otherwise I would have been really upset and disappointed if I paid full price for the room.
