This immaculate hotel in the tiny village area is a haven. Everything about it is sophisticated and comfortable.
The ONLY thing that it did not have was bars of soap in the bathroom. I'm sure that would have been supplied if I'd requested!

Although our Comfort Single Room was a bit on the petite side as my husband is quite tall (6'3") and the room has diagonal beams which, if not careful, he'd bump his head on, we found it to be very clean and tidy. We were offered a bigger room at check-in when the nice lady at the front desk saw my husband, at an upgraded price of course, but we chose to stay in the room booked as it has a bit more character with the exposed wood beams on the ceiling.
The bed & pillows were comfortable to sleep in. And although we prefer a shower, the deep bathtub was a nice change.
Breakfast was great...lots of options to choose from and the quality of the food was fresh. The breakfast buffet was served by 1 employee behind the plexi-glass which felt clean & safe. We sat out on the terrace upstairs (we were the only ones there at the time) and the view into the town square below was really beautiful and tranquil. Service is great and all staff were very friendly.
As for Covid-19 safety - We felt safe here as the staff all wore masks & hotel guests wore masks as soon as they stepped in the front door of the hotel or in the common areas. Hand sanitizers were out in the lobby to use.

Hotel was set in a beautiful location looking over Asolo. Close walk to restaurants and the sights of the town. The hotel looked great and was decorated beautifully.
I was quite disappointed as I don’t feel that it provided what was listed on the website and do not think it was 5 star. It took over an hour to actually locate the hotel as it couldn’t be accessed without entering one way traffic limited zones which is all my tourist info you are constantly told not to enter these. As with other hotels, a simple email advising this with instructions how to enter would have resolved this and saved a lot of stress. On arrival there was no bellhop service and our bags were our own responsibility to get out and take to the rooms - wouldn’t normally mind but it’s in their website. Same with valet parking - advised I could do this myself and had to request them to complete on arrival and checkout. Also only one small bottle of water provided for a room with two people. Again not bothered if a basic hotel but when it claims 5 star I was expecting more having stayed in some amazing 3 & 4 star hotels throughout Italy. Would also have liked it communicated better that the room only had a bath and no shower at all. Would’ve opted for a different room if this had been specified. Overall I was disappointed and wouldn’t stay again but do feel that if the communication could be greatly improved then it could’ve been an entirely different experience. To end on a positive - breakfast was great

Asolo is always a joy to visit and I have wanted to try the Al Sole for a long time. Check in was friendly, the breakfast was lovely, and room was perfect. Well located in town of 100 horizons.

I went to Asolo for a friends wedding, the town itself was lovely and I’m really glad I stayed at Albergo Al Sole. The staff were very friendly / helpful and the location was great. If I ever end up going back to Asolo I would definitely stay here

My midweek stay at Albergo al Sole was very peaceful. The staff are all very gracious and helpful, the room quiet and spotless, breakfast is generous and offers everything. Recommended. Extra tip: the Zen shuttle vans up from Ca’vescovo, if you are arriving by train in-between hours.

Excellent location; excellent hotel restaurant serving high class food. The wine served was superb. The service was friendly throughout and prompt. The room was large but somewhat dated. The room was at a premium given no views and the decor. Excellent for a stopover night. Above all the town was charming and quaint.

Charming Hotel with expert service and excellent dining and terrace. Parking is avialable but driving in the little town of Asolo is tricky. Countryside is beautiful with several Palladio designed villas close by. Veneto wines abound and Asolo is the home of Proseco. Worth the trip.

I am sorry to say that it was the biggest disappointment of our trip. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. It is graded as a 5 star hotel, we paid 300 euro per night & were expecting to spoil ourselves. We were very disappointed. The room was dated & cheaply decorated. The wardrobes were made out of ply wood; the table looked like a school desk – cheap & chipped. You would expect to see furniture of that level in a 2 stare hotel. Above the table was hanging one of the smallest TV sets I have seen in a hotel & it was old. The bathroom was quite large but again very dated. The shower cubical was tiny & had an old water massage in it. Water was splashing everywhere making the showering experience into a very unpleasant event. The only positive thing I could say about the room is that the view from the windows was beautiful.
I cannot fault the service, it was very good & our car was valet parked in the hotel parking . We had a nice light late lunch on the restaurant’s balcony & the service was attentive. In the evening we were told that the restaurant is closed because it was a slow night (Friday ???). We had breakfast at the restaurant just to find out that the chairs were cheap, uncomfortable, plastic chairs disguised by a fabric cover. It is unacceptable even in a 3 star hotel let alone a 5 star. Breakfast started fine with a on the spot freshly squeezed juice, the food was reasonable but when we wanted to have some eggs we found out that because somebody did not bother to

This was our third visit to our beloved Albergo al Sole. There is nothing more sublime than sipping Prosecco on the balcony that overlooks the center of town. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable about the services the hotel provides. We began our stay with a private wine tasting in the Grotto di Bacca, a recovered Roman cave within the hotel. After a delightful and educational hour, our family of six adults recessed to the balcony in anticipation of our specially prepared dinner , again in the Grotto. The menu was delectable and the ambiance was superb. What a wonderful welcome! For our trip to Venice the following day, we booked the hotel van to take us to Castelfranco to the train station in the morning, and then arranged for pickup in Venice for the hour long trip back to the hotel. The service was courteous, punctual and a reasonable price. On the day we left, breakfast was set out at 6a.m. for us. How remarkable!

We had the worst room in the best hotel - but we knew this when we booked in based on the other reviews. We had room 204 which was a double mansard room. It was actually bigger and better that we expected judging by the photos, but is a small room with a sloping roof. Hotel is lovely - restaurant was fabulous (but not cheap) and location is brilliant. Breakfast was very nice and starting each morning on the terrace overlooking Asolo at breakfast was perfect.

Absolutely excellent in almost every way. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
The only issue I had was inconsistent water temperature in the shower. Once you found a comfortable temperature it would occasionally go cold then hot and finally return to the set temperature. A bit disconcerting and disappointing given they have a very expensive shower massage setup with upright and seated massage areas, etc.
