Would recommend that anyone that prebooks checks that they get the room that they paid for. On 2 occasions in 2 years we have prepaid & were provided inferior rooms to our booking. I would suggest that this may be a common practice, no real apology or compensation offered or provided. This hotel is off our shopping list for any future stays in Paisley.

A little jaded. A warm welcome at check in and check out. Room a little dated and uninspiring. Bar allows dogs so sat in a small seated area on other side. David the barman looked after us.
Was astonished to hear guests being told to order Go Eat when asking for room service. This is advertised as a 4 * establishment. What has happened to hospitality? Turning business away?
We stayed overnight on the way to airport but not sure if I would do it again. Clearly they also allow dogs in their rooms which is a big no for me.

I thought the room I was given initially was absolutely terrible a very stale smell and the entrance wall was damp. The second room was dreadful but I was tired having travelled 10 hours to attend my sisters funeral. It was not worth the £100 charged. I will never stay there again

All fine

A great place to stay when visiting family in Renfrew. Ticks all the boxes.
4.2
The dining area is not disabled friendly. You have to go down steps to access the food and no way into the dining area from the hotel other than 6 steps. You have to go outside using a ramp in the rain to enter the dining area using another ramp. Even then you can’t access the food without going down 3 steps. This should be stated clearly on the info given out

Empty booze bottles in room cupboard, bed base joining metal strap undone scraped chin, ceiling coving Broken, hole in wall bare plaster, one small led bulb in ceiling so dark, woke by bin lorry at 05:55 making lots of noise for at least 30 minutes. Breakfast sausages like leather. Nice exterior and entrance.
4.2
“Go to” place when flying from Glasgow Airport. Been going for decades, and so have we!- says it all, not the plushest or the most modern, but nice staff, great parking and super breakfast.
Will be back again… and again!

Reception staff were wonderful; from great restaurant recommendation to help with our international cell phone problem. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and included a haggis (with other options of course). Our room had no USB ports but we made do. WIFI was good. Bed was slightly hard for our liking.
4.2
The location was good away from the centre of Glasgow but easy enough to drive in ( cost £12 to park) or taxi as we did (£20 one way)
The hotel was clean, small bar area and lift to rooms.
We were room 373 on second floor which seemed to be in an annexe was a few mins walk, up and down some steps. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with velux windows. The iron /board was unusable due to coming away from the wall. Phoned reception to ask for a iron and board, had to phone again and a ironing board was brought. Still had tio use the iron attached to the wall.
The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in , was hard and lumpy. Was ready to ask to move room the next day but on viewing open rooms that were being cleaned they bed seemed all the same.
Breakfast was served past reception down some steps. On offer was porridge, cereal fruit and yoghurt, cooked breakfast. Bread for toasting was a choice of brown or white THIN slices individually wrapped The toaster took an age to work in the end I gave up.
Drinks machine for Coffees and hot water for tea. Juices available.
The spa/pool area small pool , separate sauna and steam room . Changing facilities clean and adequate.
Would I choose to stay here again - not really was left disappointed with the hotel not really a 4* standard that I had expected

I booked a Boutique as advertised on hotels.com. Upon checkin there was nothing boutique about the room. I booked a twin boutique and I got a standard triple. Upon walking around the hotel there certainly was over rooms than we got!!! Room was not as advertised.
The heating was not working and the room was freezing cold. They offered us to move at 9.45pm as it so cold by which point we declined as was showered and ready for bed. The room had not been cleaned well and we found wrappers etc on the bed and on the floor. The temperature of the shower was also poor. Only luke warm.
4.2
Staff, restaurant and bedroom was wonderful. Spa was an absolute treat. Thank you
4.2
Check in was simple, room was very far from reception and no offer to help with bags, swimming and sauna were lovely but strange to have to leave the hotel in the rain to go in another door. Food was delicious and a special mention for breakfast which was incredible! We were awoken by the rooms around us being changed and cleaned loudly
4.2
Reception staff are excellent but can’t give six stars.
4.2
I booked the Boutique super king room as availability was limited in the area, very disappointed as the room was just a double room, being on a business trip reception always say and the room has been paid for, I know as I pay for the room, so they give me a basic room, I claim my money back but it does leave a bad feeling against this hotel that I have stayed in around 12 nights in the past year, this is the second and last time this will happen, great location with a nice big car park and half a mile from my customer I go to see,
4.2
The hotel really needs an upgrade to be a 4 star hotel. Our room had taped up tiles and the bathroom really needs an upgrade too.
4.2
Very dirty arround entrances. Bins full of cigarettes. Overall very poor customer service. Routine maintenence very poor.
4.2
We were initially given an accessible room with awful shower pressure (first floor) and temperature but after speaking to the staff they were excellent and moved us to a different room the following day which was better but overall the basic/club rooms feel quite tired for a 4 star property. If you expect this then you won’t be disappointed but we felt a little let down based on the description /website.
Staff fantastic and cannot fault them, though!
4.2
Dated
4.2
Quaint traditional Scottish Inn close the airport, highways and shopping. Only down side was despite booking a year in advance we didn’t get the room we requested. Beds are extremely (too) firm and no coverings for the windows were a challenge to go to bed earlier for an early morning flight.
4.2
Staff were nice and it was well kept in main areas, but room wasn’t like shown in photos when I booked. showed a lovely bathroom with 2 sinks and fancy shower- got 1 sink with a shower over a bath, plus there was no privacy as all glass through to bedroom! Also bed in photos looked fancy but got a basic bed, no sofa as shown in photos plus lots of scraped furniture and ceiling that had been plastered in places but not redecorated. Meal in restaurant was nice but paid a lot of money for a steak and asked for medium, what I received was wafer thin and over done.
4.2
Room a good size / comfy bed.
Evening Meal was good enjoyed it.
4.2
There was some strange electrical fault in the kitchen and so they closed the restaurant.
4.2
Liked that it was not too far from the airport.
4.2
Staff very friendly, tribute night was fantastic and breakfast amazing, will defo be back😍

Very nice staff and great food!!!!

We had to wait extensive to check in as a bus party arrived at the same time as we did.
The lift was out of action and our hotel was the furthest away being on the top floor. When we opened the door to the hotel room the room smelt foisty like it hadn’t been used or cleaned. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom was old and dated and didn’t have any shower gel provided. So our experience was very disappointing overall.
The breakfast however was good and the reception staff were professional.
4.2
A fine hotel for a night but the price/star rating leaves a lot to be desired. No working elevator, long winding hallways and a bit confusing layout, and while staff is friendly they were frequently no where to be found.
4.2
The room was nice, bed was comfy and staff were friendly, however I was on a floor with a school and the group were making a lot of noise from around 5:30am onwards.
The spa area was shocking. The changing room was the smelliest, dirtiest place I've seen at a gym. It made me feel really uncomfortable and definitely not relaxed!
Food also seemed fairly over priced.
4.2
We stayed just one night on the last night if our trip. The hotel is convenient to Glasgow airport but the location is quiet and easily accessible. The food was good, the room was clean. Just what we needed for our last night.
4.2
Clean room, friendly staff. Bar area felt quite enclosed. Didnt eat in hotel to comment on evening meal, breakfast ok.
4.2
Basic hotel, not 'upscale' as described. Toiletries consisted of shower gel in a pump on the wall. Breakfast was good and receptionist and lady at the bar were nice. Clean but tired looking decor, we initially thought that the stairs to the rooms was a staff entrance.
4.2
Room unbearably hot. Minimal essential toiletries provided (basic body wash, no conditioner). No fridge. No lift to second floor. No plug socket by bed. Two singles pushed together - fell down the middle. For £300 a night I'd hope for more.
4.2
Nice hotel, not much in the area struggled with taxis to and from glasgow.
But a nice stay
4.2
On arrival we were told that we had a twin room, not double as we had booked. The lady on reception did manage to resolve this which we were thankful for - but that is where the positives end.
There were signs all over the hotel that the elevator was out of order (they had definitely been up for around 1 week and they were a little worn and curled at the edges!). We were put in a room on the 2nd floor, so we sets off dragging our bags and suitcase up the stairs.. along very dated corridors with cleaning products etc still scattered around the floors/windowsills. We then reached another staircase with breezeblock walls and a very worn carpet - it felt like we were in a staff area, but apparently not!
Inside the room it was basic to say the least - stained chair, damaged bedsides, and the batteries taped into the remote with gaffer tape. The bed was like sleeping on a brick. One of the reviews I had read mentioned that none of the electrical equipment had PAT test stickers - so I did also pick up on this. No iron or hairdryer in the room which I'd say is a pretty basic requirement of any hotel 3* and above. The room directly opposite us was a cleaners store which was wedges open the whole time (just a small detail but shows lack of care/hospitality).
After other reviews we didn't attempt the spa as we wanted to leave ASAP. Overall the hotel is in dire need of refurbishment and is the photos online are from 2012-2015 so are misleading.
Overall would not return or recommend.
4.2
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant so cannot comment on those but we did have breakfast which was very nice with plenty of choice. The only down side was that I received an email a few weeks before our stay advising that the lift was out of order and when we arrived the lift had still not been repaired which was disappointing due to the amount of stairs to our room. Despite this we did enjoy our night in this hotel.
4.2
Great place to stay. Would go back.
4.2
The lift was out of service upon our arrival and we had a number of bags consequently the layout of the hotel with all the stairs and long hallways along with the lift issue made it very challenging getting to our room. The pool shower in the men’s locker room was filthy and in need of refurbishment. The bathtub is very narrow and consequently, very dangerous to shower in. The food was very good.
4.2
Fantastic and friendly staff highly recommend this place keep up the great work Xx

Stayed one night before leaving Glasgow. Lovely hotel, very convenient for the airport
