Only positive things I can say is the air conditioning was good and the bed was comfortable. The bedside lamp was broken with exposed wires, no overhead light so limited to a lamp across the room. Breakfast was mediocre for the listed price of 13eur, but they actually charged 24eur making it awful value. Every few minutes there was a sound like a hammer drill rattling the walls, all through the night and day. Decor is decades old with faded wood and fraying carpet. Overall, very expensive for what it was.

Friendly staff, comfortable bedding and room but the styling of the lobby and bar area are what makes it worthwhile. Really cool old-world charm. Bathroom needed a little updating though.

Parking - only 12 slots so we were not ale to get it and had to search it on the streets Room - was unfortunately not cleaned well The rest was nice - location, interior of the lobby, reception guy was a very nice person

Stayed on a Monday night no food no bar and a room with double bed pushed against the wall in an attic room that has a great tendency to punish your head if not careful.

I hated the bathroom. Bidet was so close to the toilet you could not sit on the toilet because your legs were too close to the bidet and there was a door stop in between the two that I stubbed my foot on. Just an awful set up. Would be better if they just removed the bidet and door stop. Would not recommend this hotel.

Old-school hotel in all the best connotations. Quiet, attractive and the desk was most helpful. We liked Mulhouse very much, in large part due to this establishment.

One-of-a-kind unique art deco hotel which is great value for money. Check out the art and furniture in the lobby - every inch is original art deco style. Rooms could do with a little updating, but are comfortable and the current style is what gives the hotel it's charm.

I found the hotel very pleasant but slightly dated in the Entry and hallways. The rooms were a very good size, well appointed and updated.The surrounding area was interesting, a nice area to go for an evening walk and the cafe by the cathedral had an amazing food selection.Hotel staff was excellent. The bad part was 32 degrees C and the Air conditioning did not work, my first room was 27C and the second one only got down to 24 C. breakfast was good and was a serve yourself German style breakfast. Sliced meat, cheese, rolls, croissants,, coffee, juice, cereal and hard boiled eggs, all fresh and tasty.

It’s a old but we’ll maintained hôtel in Mulhouse. The hotel offering in that city is poor. That hotel is a must if you stay one or two night there. I stayed one night. The hotel was quiet, clean and at the very center of the city. Very convenient. Breakfast is ok as the restaurant for a decent diner.

This place has glamour! It’s very clean, has easy parking and is a great location. I’m a sucker for Art Deco and I felt really wonderful staying here. It was like being a kid again and feeling the magic of being somewhere special.

Dirty glasses in the minibar, dirty old bathroom. A horrible bar (Charlie's) in the hotel that totally ripe you of! A nice breakfast but the staff don't fill up the trays when they are out even though it was 1 hour left of the breakfast.

The hotel is old, Which makes the air conditioner mal function.But the most important point is, when I talk to the staff, he replied it is normal in which he said it is cold outside and the air con turns down by itself and he asked me to open window. With the noisy road aside, its impossible to sleep. After a while, the air con turned on. So why did the staff told me to open the window instead admitting the air con is broken or under fixing? Terrible experience

Location was good, walking distance to Mulhouse restaurants etc. Lovely staff - very welcoming. Special shoutout to Stefan who arranged free motorcycle parking for me, next to his bike in the secure car-park! :-)

When we checked in the room was a twin not double. Then when we got reallocated we found the air conditioning was unable over 48 hours running to get the room temp down to even 22 degrees. Then we found the bar fridge was warm and after 48 hours running was still warm. Otherwise the room we had was big and comfortable and the bar lounge area really lovely.
