The carpeted room was good. Beds were good. No counter top in the bathroom, just a little shelf on the wall by the sink. You could move the shower pipes in the walls. There are safety bars in the bathroom and tub. Heat/cold unit works nicely. They should pull the carpet up and replace with laminated tiles for cleanliness. Nice tv, fidge works well. Lamp on the dresser didn't work and when my husband pulled the tray out to make coffee, a medium sized roach came out to say good morning, then ran back under the coffee maker. Also, the lamp shades could use a little dusting.

I have stayed here four or more times now. Any time I am in Salina I plan to stay here. I always get the same room and it is perfect for me.

Good place to sleep and get back on the road

The property is just off I-70, so it is convenient. The bed was comfortable. The place seemed a little bit run down, but everything worked. Good water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing exceptional (typical waffle maker, cold cereal, some packaged pastries, apples, toaster, but oj dispenser broken).

The room was perfect for our needs.

It is not real quiet. Truck stop parking lot next door. Its probly about a $45 a night motel.ok for 1 night

Carpets in all hallways and in rooms were very old, dirty and stained all over. Walls in room were cracked and paint and drywall tape peeling. Bathroom fixtures were corroded and baseboards caved in to wall studs in a couple of areas. First room assigned reeked of cigarette smoke, and this is supposed to be a non-smoking facility. Refused that room and was given another room of a configuration which I did not request and was much less desirable. Internet was essentially non-functional. After 15 minutes of watching the wheel spin trying to connect I gave up.

Door didn’t work, had to scan card several times and practically shove the door open to get in. Our card completely stopped working and we were treated like it was our fault. Hardly any parking. I guess when you pay a cheap price you get what you pay for

Really old motel. Not feel safe

For the money, a safe, clean place to sleep then I would recommend.

This is the second or third time I’ve stayed here in the last couple of years. I’ve come to really appreciate it as a basic, budget hotel. It is definitely outdated, but the people are friendly, and the price is very reasonable, especially if you’re looking for a pet-friendly place. The area feels a little bit sketchy, TBH, but inside the hotel it feels cozy and private. I’m knocking one star off only because there has been a slightly funky smell. I’m pretty sensitive to smells, including cleaning products, so it may not bother you if you’re less sensitive.

a bit dirty and smelly.
Breakfast was very rudimentary and lack of variety of choices.

Didn’t even get into the hotel before I was terrified. There were homeless people standing outside of the front door just looking around and it is very very unkept.

No complaints

Trash behind furniture upon arrival. Broken fixtures. Seedy atmosphere. Cracked window. NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE AT ALL.
Bathroom door not wide enough for a walker.

This is an affordable, clean, quiet, pet-friendly motel near truck stops. It is older, but the rooms feel clean, the AC/heater works, and they don't charge outrageous pet fees. Very convenient to I-70.

Check in was easy and they only charge $10 per per pet So that was nice. The guy at the front desk was nice. Beyond that it was a Beyond that it was an Unpleasant stay. The room smelled disgusting. There was a Super strong Toxic perfume smell coving up a dirty/sweet smell. It was nauseating and permeated everything I brought into the room, including my containers of food in the fridge. The bathrooms and sink area seemed clean enough and the sheets and towels also appeared clean. I can only assume it was the carpets that smelled so bad. When I went to plug in my phone, there was Dirt and debris behind the nightstand. I will never trust Expedia reviews again!

I stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Salia Kansas as a place to sleep. I was just passing through on a trip back home in Ohio. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It was a an easy check-in and was very cleanly. I am very pleased.

Overall it was a good stay. Friendly staff, clean room, convenient. The carpet is a bit dirty in the halls and the breakfast is a little light.

The receptionist was pleasant, the hotel is decently clean and next to truck parking, so we had room for our camper and trailer. The room is good-sized, but the carpet is not the cleanest. Overall- not bad for the price

Rooms had only sheets to coverup with. The rooms smelled like urine. They charged $50.00 for a damage fee and only reimbursed $48.00.
This hotel should be removed as an option.

This hotel was clean and quiet. I would recommend it. Very reasonable price.

The property is conveniently located to Interstates 70 and 135. It may be a little close, however. It is also within feet of a large truck stop that is noisy and not well maintained. There is little dining or other services in the area (a Popeyes and a Subway). Good place to stop overnight but not for longer.

Nice property for one night. Clean room with mini fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast included a bit more than most.

Bed was ok but not the most comfortable (but then I have back issues). Room was clean & quiet. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but was better than nothing. OJ was not working so that was a bummer. But overall not bad at all for the price.

Nice clean rooms. Wifi did not work or in room coffee maker. There was coffee in lobby. Would recommend
