The hotel was nice, staff was nice, and it was clean. However, I have a service dog and I have never been charged when staying in a hotel. The hotel didn't even tell me they were going to charge and to my surprise when I got the receipt after check out, there was a pet fee.

All around a positive experience. I would come back anytime. Really nothing to complain about, but (since you asked) here are my two pet-peeves: 1) Styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast. What a waste! If you can afford to have someone dish out food in the morning, then it can't be that much more to have them bus tables and load a dish washer. Personally, I hate eating on plastic. We are not on a picnic here. 2) Charging me for parking separately. Why not just include everything on the bill up front? If this was NYC then I'd understand, but Roswell NM has no parking shortage as far as I can tell. That said, I feel the need to repeat; the staff and facility were excellent and I was very happy throughout my stay.

I was in room 218. There is a small area outside the window where multiple pigeons were nesting. They made noise all night & day, plus there are hooks under the window that they perch on and then peck at the window. The sitting area in the suite was very poorly lit. I have never seen such a poor breakfast at a Marriott. I was told they could not do anything for me because I made my reservations through Expedia. I left a day early because it was so awful. Extremely disappointing stay in Roswell.

We stayed for 2 & 1/2 days and 2 nights, our pillows were so very flat and bed was never made and no new towels either. other than that, AC in room was good and enjoyed the pool and hot tub mostly. Decently good breakfast options. $10 daily parking is true.

First room they put me in had fresh diarrhea on the carpet. Unknown if it was from an animal or a human. Went back to the front desk and they changed my room to the one next door. It was all scratchd up and all the furniture had been chewed on and it smelled like animals and the AC couldn't be controlled.

We had a good stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Roswell. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Our only complaint was that the room facing the main roadway was noisy due to the emergency vehicles and vehicles with loud exhaust and bass driving up and down the main strip.

Pool and hot tub out of service. Breakfast was pretty sad, 2 of the 4 juice was out. Biscuits and gravy every morning. Coffee was good. We had 4 cockroaches in our room. They did give us a new room but gross. I was also offered Marriot points to make up for no pool and cockroaches, that was like pulling teeth to get 10,000 points the equivalent of $40. The price of the hotel was high when looking at the state of the hotel. Very disappointed will not stay here again

Property was very nice and clean. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Typical hotel breakfast but they did have hot choices-bacon, eggs, waffles, biscuits and grave. It was good. My only complaint was that I booked this room specifically because of the pool. I wanted to go swimming but the pool was closed due to a broken pump. It would be nice if there was someway to contact customers beforehand. The pool had been shut down for a week. A little notification would have been nice. Overall, very nice place-i would stay again.

What a horrible business practice to not tell customers about parking fees of 10 dollars I called and asked why this charge was on my card. Her response was the nighttime person should have told me. Or it’s on their website. Horrible way to conduct business I will be disputing with my cc.

We were traveling to attend a funeral and this was the halfway point since we were traveling with a toddler. I had read on a previous review about the “surprising “ $10 per day parking fee. I checked and nowhere on hotels.com did it mention this. During check-in, there is a sign on the check-in desk that states “Reminder: There is a $10 parking fee per day for hotel guests”. A reminder would be had they stated this before on the hotel information NOT upon learning this on the customer review. For this fee it’s not like there’s extra security for your vehicle. The cameras are placed adequately. The $10 per day was charged separately AFTER the hotel fees. Nonetheless, the room was clean and comfortable and our stay was nice.

I didn’t like that our room obviously previously had animals in it , it had a funny smell like wet dog, my son saw 3 bugs in the room & our room next door had a barking dog. My skin was itchy after sleeping there.
