The most disgusting place we ever been in our lives. Dirty sheets, stained toilet, roaches, broken tiles, no towels, broken door(key didn’t work) and bad smell. Spent no more then 30min in the room…

I wasn't expecting anything extravagant for a Red Roof Inn. There were issues we reported to management about our door. We stayed on the 1st floor, and we had to yank extremely hard to close the door, and then body-slam the door to open it. Breakfast was served after the timeframe, and before Check-out so I unfortunatetly didn't get a chance to enjoy much of the amenities of it.

Overnight stay me, and my husband had stepped out to get a bite to eat. And when returning our key did not work we went downstairs multiple times to have them fix the issue and every time we would return back to our room the key was not working. The man working in the front desk did not seem to know how to work the key machine and he had a call someone else to help him when that person came. He said that the key worked and I would be able to get to my room, of course after the fifth attempt to try to get in it did not work. I had to go back down and the manager had to come up with a machine to open up our door in order for us to get in our room, No one apologized for this inconvenience nor offered me any kind of refunds for this inconvenience. I was locked out of my room for over 45 minutes. this hotel is completely rundown needs major work and renovations. The room itself was clean and the beds are comfortable, but it seems like a hotel where people live in not just stay in would not recommend and I feel like I overpaid for the stay would love a refund .

Booked room online, 7/19-21/2024. Waited in lobby for 1/2 hour until someone appeared to help us. They asked for $100.00 cash for incidentals and just had me sign my name on a blank paper. We did get the cash back when we checked out on the 21st. Our room was on 3rd floor, NO WiFi up there. Our room keys also did not work, so each time we left, we’d have to get someone to unlock the door when we got back, EVERY time. This hotel is filled with people of all ages living there full time, and they all worked some way there. Pool was closed! No ice machines, no vending machines. This place was pretty sketchy. When checking out I asked for a receipt and they told me there was NO receipt for me. I will never stay at one of these again, nor will I recommend this place. Animals were allowed, have no issues there, but the room next door had a dog that literally barked from @ 8:30pm til a little after midnight!!!!!!

Save yourself from making the same mistake we made and just avoid this hotel all together. Our check in was supposed to be at 3pm, we got there after 6pm expecting to be able to check in, get cleaned up and proceed to our next destination to enjoy the beach. Well literally none of that happened. We waited over an hour and a half there without assistance while a group in front of us was threatening to call the police on the hotel (I do not know what the situation was) then another guest was wheeled out by an ambulance for falling. Once we were finally able to speak with someone (there were 3 people behind the counter only 1 was working the other 2 ignored us and other guests) he informed us that the room was still not ready and to just check back in 20 minutes or so. At this point my 2 kids, fiancé and I decided we were going to call hotels.com who we booked through and get refunded and book another hotel. The agent we spoke to called the hotel to confirm what was happening and was hung up on twice and finally after spending over an hour on the call was able to request the refund. A week goes by and I still do not have the refund so I called in and after another hour on the phone and not getting any answers I finally get a manager who proceeds to say they are not refunding us because the hotel denied the request since they would eventually have the room ready, he would not refund the full amount and only compensated less then half. We lost time and money due to this experience

I came to stay here for a night and I git the hotel online and when I got there the room wasn’t ready and the lobby worker disappeared from the front desk and we waited two hours for the room to get cleaned and ready and they didn’t do anything when we got back in the room it was still dirty and unclean and we were not the only ones waiting for there room and complaining

Stayed there a week.Room was ok.check was great . Disappointed every morning. Never any coffee in the morning. When the women at the desk finally got around to it there weren't any cups, next day no sugar, always something. Pets stay free was a big plus.

The hotel told me that I didn’t have a reservation when I arrived and I showed them my email and confirmation they were very nasty about the situation after even seeing the confirmation, told them I have travel far and it was a holiday they didn’t care. Very , very bad customer service.

I checked into my room and there was a turd in the toilet. I flushed the toilet and it was clogged so it overflowed.
Told the woman at the front desk. She took her master key and entered 3 separate rooms and each was occupied by guests already. Then said she would check the register for an open room. (Maybe she should have done that in the first place?).
Then said there's only 1 other room but it was dirty so I had to wait an hour in the "Turd Room" till 2am before I could go to sleep.
I won't even bother to tell you how bad the breakfast was cause what's the point.

Property was old and outdated. Carpet fithly. The hotel hallways had a bad odor. Our bathroom door had a big hole in it as if there was a big fight in the room.. tub dirty. There was an open soap bar left on the tub and a piece of hair in the tub. Water pressure was really low. Wash cloth was paper thin with stains. I will never atay here again.

When we were checking in the desk clerk was in disbelief that we had booked the “suite” for the price we had so check-in was extra lengthy due to his wanting to “double check”. Then when we got to our room there were no towels and the bed wasn’t properly made. The suite had no fridge so everything we brought had to stay out all night. The only thing I recommend this property for is if you literally just need a place to crash and don’t plan on showering in the morning.

You can hear everything through the walls. The people that work there have no idea what there doing. Last time I tried to book hotel I got confirmation and when I got to hotel I got a phone call saying they don’t have electricity and they have to cancel my room. Walk in everything is working and they just did that to make more money on room. Horrible stay would suggest Days Inn down the pike more.

It was challenging for staff due to computer glitches but they were patient and went overboard to make up for any inconvenience. There were some disappointments due to the economy. The hotel has great potential. It is a shame that a lot there had been stolen or was missing and not replaced such as gym equipment, phones, business center equipment and God only knows what happened to the indoor pool. It was astonishing that under the circumstances and the price they still offered free breakfast. There was a coffee pot in the room with coffee, a microwave and refrigerator. The television worked as well as all of the lights. The shower, toliet and sink were clean and all worked well. The beds were clean and comfortable and i had a good night sleep which is what i needed most. Everyone was nice. The breakfast was waffles, bagels, bananas, oranges, cereal, coffee and real milk (an added treat).

A surprise $60 in cash only payment against dirty room and damage was unexpected and unusual.
They we're not inclined to give a receipt and a pawn departure returned only half the cash deposit claiming that a comforter which was already dirty was dirty by us.

My room was not cleaned before checking in. Renovation were done and the room was not clean floor was dirty. The furniture was super dusty and the staff didn’t seem to care about my issues when it was check out time. They called me 2 times before check out time (11:00) to remind of the check out time. Not a good experience and would not recommend this place!!!

It was awful. I reserved a smoking room with dbl beds and 1 pet. I got a non smoking king room. I had to pay a $50 pet deposit which I didn’t mind except they wouldn’t give it back to me because I had a late check out which was paid for separately and the dog left no mess and caused no trouble or harm. The light in the room had black mold on it. The room was filthy, there are a bunch of people living there, and most of them are undesirable. The neighborhood isn’t so great. It was horrible. After night 3 we changed hotels because I couldn’t take it anymore.

We booked 3 reservations 1 week before our 4/20 arrival. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a hostile employee who was rushing me for the Itinerary number we booked via Expedia.
When it was provided to him he stated, they had canceled our reservation all 3, because they stated Expedia was charging less for the rooms and that the rooms cost much more for the night. So we drove 5 hours to be canceled with no solution.
Once I contacted Expedia they said the reservation were still open but we had email cancellation from the hotel. Not a very good experience but I would have not stayed at the hotel anyway.
