Exactly what I expected, an adequate room with no frills, and well worth the price. It was the price that was the reason I booked the room. I expected no frills and was not surprised. I would stay there again, depending upon the cost.

Absolutely horrible. First room they gave me had obvious stains on the sheets and pillows cases. I could have worked with that for the price. Then I found poop on the toilet seat. They gave me different room. Then about midnight there was what sounded like a drug deal gone wrong. Screaming and pounding on the walls. At 1233am I decided that my sleep was important and left to another hotel using another app. I told the front desk and they were very blase about it. I want my money back. Also, was out The $12 for Uber to get to an acceptable motel at 2 in the morning. Then the motel sent me a request to do a review. Being the the nice guy I am and wanting to find a middle ground I ask if they really wanted me to do that. The lady hung up on me and won't answer unless I block my # or call from a different one. Are you kidding me?

The only good thing about the place was that we liked the beds. The so called staff NOT FRIENDLY. They looked down their nose at us, like they were better than ME. NOT GOING BACK.

I'm kind of an acquired taste lol. Very hyper due to ADHD. I had multiple questions for the staff and every single time they were very accommodating and understanding. I didn't expect much from the cheapest hotel in the area however they went above and beyond and I've greatly appreciate that.

I got there checked in my room it smelt like bud and mildew and i started to eat my dinner and then i saw a roach and then about 20 more between the bathroom and the actual room so i killed the ones i could get to before they ran off and i set a piece of what i was eating on both floors and went in the shower the shower started backing up pass my ankles so i hurried up and washed and got out of the shower and some water got on the floor so i used the floor towel to dry the floor just around the tub area the towel was black and dirty they definitely dont mop those rooms theres also black mold in the bathroom someone tried to paint over . So i went to lay down and a roach was on the headboard i killed it and as i was lying in bed a roach came crawling on my pillow so i told them the next day that room was infested with roaches and the floor was dirty and the tub was backing up so 1 nice lady came and cleaned my room and she also took my towels and forgot to give me more after they washed them so when i got back and was wanting to take a shower no towels was there so i went to the desk to ask for towels the lady said we dont have anymore so i said can you get me some out another room no1 is in she said no thats not how it works but she was just being lazy and didn't want to walk and go get some . The beds are wobbly and out dated they been there since motel 6 when i used to come in 2010 and everything else looks to be the same also this place needs to be upgraded

We booked our stay online. The pictures are not what you get. We checked into our room but it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke, there were 3 towels in the bathroom and the shower didn't have a shower curtain. We asked for a different room. The second room had peeling paint on the walls and it smelled like mold. The outdoor pool was closed. The area was used for storage, garbage everywhere, the pool itself was partially tarped and had trash floating in the area that was open. We cancelled our stay.

My first room was dirty, accepted it then my TV went out. I was moved to a new room and it was terrible. I cleaned the room to my standards after the hotel staff refused to offer help, they wanted me to move to a different room on the first floor where the environment is kind of scary. They did give me a spray bottle and a pair of gloves to clean up with. I stayed because of the conveniences.This was not my first stay there but this is the first time I ever had a bad experience. I asked for a free night or a discount but unfortunately they only offered me to find another hotel. The cite won't let me post a picture of my bathroom.

We needed a room for one night while travelling through the area and found the West Ashley. It was the least expensive. I booked online and when we arrived, check in was quick an efficient. The linens and furnishings were older and showing wear but clean. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked. A bit of noise in the parking lot with guys reving up cars, but quieted down as it got late. My partner said TV worked well.

This appears to be more of a place to stay long term if you are low income. The place seemed pretty noisy. We thought we booked a non smoking room, but when we went in it was extremely smoky and there was an ashtray on the table. It appeared that someone had cut a smiley face into the top sheet on the bed, which was weird. The shower was very dirty. It was all pretty dirty and chaotic. We got the heck out of there. The girl at the front desk was really sweet about giving us a refund.

Due to mold exposure in our home my family of four was forced to stay in a hotel room. I could not afford anything but the West Ashley inn. Our bed was broken and I let the rest of my family sleep comfortably while I slept on the broken part of the bed. I was rolling off all night and had the worst back pains. When entering the room there was a footprint on one of the beds so I lifted the blanket and the sheets were dirty so I called the front desk immediately and they sent someone to change the sheets. Office staff and housekeeping were very nice and it's not their fault but this hotel is falling apart. Only half of the air conditioner pumped air so in the daytime it was really hot in the room. There were only two towels left in the bathroom and the shower was run down and leaking all over the floor. It made a huge puddle every time we showered. The walls are dirty there are burn marks in the desks, the TV was broken and discolored screen. There were crackheads and homeless people sleeping outside our hotel room in the parking lot on towels. My kids had to start their first day of school leaving this hotel one morning and my daughter went outside to get her shoes out of the car and a grown man was trying to get her to come back to his room and smoke weed with him even after her repeating that she was 15. I never let my kids walk outside alone again after that. Very horrible very run down and I will never be back with my kids again.
