Got there the room wasn’t ready had to leave and come back. I got a smoking room and I booked a non smoking room. The room wasn’t very clean. The comforter had cigarette holes. Sheets looked not so clean. The bathroom door had a punch hole in it. The bathtub curtains were dirty. The small table wasn’t clean good. Lamp was missing the shade. We just try to stay out of the room most of the time. The place needs a lot of improvement.

Got there at 3:30 and was told that the room may not be ready for 3 hours. We were in town for a wedding and had the rehearsal that night. We ended up having to settle for a full size bed. Big gap under the front door, no door handle on the bathroom, low water pressure, dirty TP under the bed, bugs flying everywhere. Lots of weird activity outside at all times. Pretty sure most the rooms have ppl permantly living in them!!! Yes the rate was cheap- but WOW!!! I guess it’s true you get what you pay for!!! Would never recommend this place to anyone. We paid for 2 nights and went home after the 1st. Disgusting that’s for sure.

Motel 6 Owensboro,ky is the worst nasty and drug infested the rooms are completely dirty the sheet have yellow stains there was actually poop all over shower curtain shower looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks the stairs to second floor has so much trash piled up that you have to climb over it or go a longer way

Most rundown motel I've ever stayed at. Balcony was crumbling doors were in poor shape. Bathroom door had a hole in. Poured down rain and rain was coming under the door. Drug addicts staying there like alot of them and they were out on the balcony being very noisey all hours of the night. Mattresses were bad very uncomfortable. We had a homeless man sleeping outside our door. I tried to use the expedia website to report it and it kept saying it was down. Im from ohio and was there for a job interview 5 hours from home and had to go to the interview tired because i was kept awake half the night from drug addicts. We left a day early just to get out of there. Was not offered no reimbursements or anything. Absolute worse motel experience ever id take them off expedia asap before other ppl have this same experience!!!!!

The room looked pretty well and was updated to be more modern and the sheets were clean. I reserved "non-smoking" rooms (2) and although the rooms were marked as such, the room reeked of smoke and there were burn marks on the table, shower and counters. The floor was not particularly clean and my shoes stuck as I walked across it. I wouldn't walk on it without my shoes being on. One of my son's original room was so bad smelling, he had to ask to be changed to another room. Overall we had four rooms and none of them were as I would expect in terms of cleanliness and smell as all smelled of smoking in them. I would not stay there again.

The rooms definitely are not cleaned after ppl check out. Hair all over the shower, used soap left in the shower and no towels. Not that I would shower there. Lady at front desk was rude and unwilling to help with anything. If you just want to sleep and go not bad but not set up for extended stay

It was very dirty! Under the beds, sink in bathroom was dirty and faucet was about to fall off, shower was filthy, show curtain moldy, when water was run it smelled like sewer. Not a pleasant experience.

DISGUSTING! Floors probably not mopped or swept in years. Feet were black as coal after maybe half an hour. Shower hadn’t been cleaned in probably the same. Counters not wiped off at all. Possibly candle wax? Was slung over the sides of the table and wall. Beds broke down and not sure if bedding was even washed. Paid for extra to have fridge and microwave but one didn’t exist. NOISY ALL NIGHT LONG. People waiting around outside to ask “are you alone” absolutely trash! Will never be back and I’m buying ANOTHER pistol.

First off, let me say that the woman who checked me in and out of my room was a delight. That said, I did find hairs in the shower, a cigarette butt under the toilet, what looked like scrambled eggs and sausage wedged in the sink's drain, a small nickle sized piece of bacon on the ac unit, and either whip cream or shaving cream on the curtains. My feet were also covered in dust/dirt after walking from the shower to the bed. Oh, and there were like 4-5 shopping carts in the parking lot, lol. Cleanliness aside, the room was only $80 which was great, so I'm still giving it 4 out of 5 stars.

This was the single worst experience I have had with a hotel. I got in after making my reservation online, couldn't find the reservation. Then couldn't get expedia's payment to clear. Then made a key and the first key didn't work. Then I got into a room reeking of cigarette smoke, set my now-cold food on the table, went to the bathroom and my food was already covered in ants. Went back to the front desk and was given two more keys to try. Second room had black hair in the bed and more ants, third room did not have working electricity. All rooms reek of smoke. There were vagrants in the parking lot yelling for a dog or something. The lady at the front desk said I would be refunded when I told her I was leaving but I havnt been. The hotels across the street are an oasis compared to this nightmare. If you are not on drugs you do not belong in this hotel. Zero stars.

Homeless wandering around back off property, prostitute working on back steps trying to get clients, and room VERY smoky. Absolutely disgusting and unsafe. I immediately returned to lobby and told clerk I would not be staying. She didn't seem surprised, nice lady.

I arrived around 630pm to find I was already checked into a room, well both rooms! They were awful!!! The desk clerk say she didn't know why and claimed that was all she had but I only saw a handful of vehicles in the entire lot! I felt so unsafe and dirty! I was so irritated but tried to make the best out of the 1 night stay considering my family was traveling.

We’re ran off my manager. Talk to you rude hopefulness lied to. Charge for room, they were paid for room rent and didn’t get to stay I was told I will get a refund did not get get it. This price should be shut down he should be charged arrested. This is against people and disability rights this man is a thief His staff is very rude awful I was told they fix the air conditioner. We stayed one night with no air-conditioning. They said it would fix the toilet stopped up all night. I reported everything no air-conditioning the toilet stopped up one hour, after we got the room, I was told all this will be fixed never did get fixed. I called office repeatedly my son get sick vomiting because room is hot the air condition will not work then I was towed they would come and change the bed then we waiting four hours in the car then I was told they don’t have maid that is a lie. They have 2 maids a black guy for woman This is bad and should be, probably illegal, and will talk to you my attorney today. I want all my room money refunded now.

I have stayed at many Motel 6s so I didn’t come in expecting a lot. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The entire property and each room reeked of cigarettes. The first room I got had burn holes in the bed. The staff was accommodating in moving me around, but admitted that every one would be in similar condition. The room I ended on had dirty sheets, peeling furniture, a hole in the bathroom door, missing lights, and was generally disgusting. I ended up leaving. Do not recommend. I generally have been happy with Motel 6 but this was far below my expectations.

Toilet stopped up first night went sat morning told them said they would get it fixed that was at 8am we came back at 6pm still not fixed seen 3 cockroaches and then went down for towels they said thwy would have someone bring some up when they came out of dryer and we never got any i dried off with my tshirt. The check was fast and easy. They have someone there 24 hours a day which is nice. The room was not very nice though. The floor and the bathroom was dirty. The didn't clean the mirror for awhile and the shower had hair in it. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but I made it two nights. They won't clean your room until you leave even if you tell them it is dirty. They need a 24 hour notice. One good thing is that is close to lots of places to eat. You can walk to a Shoney's across the street.

If you wanted a refrigerator and microwave, it cost extra. When you needed clean towels, you had to go to the office and get them yourself. There was no vent cover in the bathroom so you could see all the built up dust. The paint in the door was cracked and faded.. There was a footprint on the door like someone tried to to kick in the door. I will say that the staff in the office was very friendly and courteous.
