Amazing stay. Everyone was friendly and kind and the accommodations were perfect.

There was a bit of an error either on our end, or the online booking end from hotels.com. We thought we were staying in the main house and didn't realize until the day of that we were booked in the Annex. We didn't get breakfast, or to stay at the building itself, and instead we're booked into a different block of rooms off to the side. It was a little nosey being right next to the street. The room itself was good, a decent size, a comfortable bed, good working AC, and a TV. Overall it was fine for what it was, but if you're booking for a place to go based off the room itself and the breakfast, make sure you double check your booking, or call them directly.

Very pleasant staff, nice property. Short walk to town green and to bridge.

The place was nice and the manager was very pleasant. The only problem was that there was no breakfast offered in the B&B if you stayed in the annex. This might be a miscommunication between Hotels.com and the hotel but it should be specified during booking.

We travelled for a Gilmore Girls inspired weekend getaway in November. The Inn was the perfect vibe, perfect area. The staff was incredibly nice. Beautiful accommodations, place to park, everything you could need.

The house was gorgeous with many interesting pieces of furniture, decor, and old photo albums. Nicole and Antonio were very gracious and welcoming. The house is run very professionally. Dining options within easy walking distance. Farmer's market on 1st Saturday of the month on the green was awesome.

Staying in the Annex is a pleasure, particularly with easy access to the original building, where a comfortable sitting room awaits guests. This was not my first visit. I’ll be back.

The place overall is decent! The staff was good! Breakfast was just okay I would not consider it a gourmet breakfast! They had cinnamon buns for a quick snack which was good but next day same cinnamon buns were still out there ! You think they would put fresh pastry or something different out there for the following day! Overall it was good! But for the price of the rooms it wasn't quite worth it!

I absolutely loved everything about Homestead. It’s luxurious yet comfortable like you’re at home…except a full service home that comes with a personal chef, house keeping, and a spa bath!
The Innkeeper, Antonio, is an absolute gem of a human! He takes such beautiful care of the property and the guests. The home feels like you stepped back in time but it is meticulous and crafted with beautiful antiques for the period of the home. Then the rooms are fully updated and luxurious like you’re in a five star resort spa. I stayed in the Monroe Suite. It was the epitome of comfort. The linens are so comfortable as well as the bed. I took regular baths in the spa tub. I did not want to leave.
Breakfast was decadent and delicious and they were so kind to completely accommodate my allergies and intolerances of certain foods. I wasn’t expecting that but they wanted me to have exactly what I could.
I cannot wait to come back and stay in another one of their suites since each room has a different aesthetic.
Thank you for the most wonderful three night stay!!

just a beautiful inn, in a great spot run by lovely people.

The wall needed a few repairs near the old door, and that door allowed such a frigid draft under it that we rolled a towel up and stuffed it the crack. Breakfast would have been an extra charge where we were staying (not something we understood when we booked, and with no coffee amenities in the room, this felt inhospitable. The walls are paper thin, and since the inn is near a hospital, we heard all traffic, including emergency vehicles as clearly as if we were in a tent. The windows' (white) blinds leak so much ambient, outside light that my husband and I were unable to get to sleep. Any sound from the couple in the room next to ours could be heard clearly. My husband and I tiptoed around, so as not to disturb them. The best I can say is that check in was easy--they left my key in a mailbox. The sheets were clean.

We arrived late in the evening but were able to pick up our room key etc. easily. The Inn imparted a warm and comfortable vibe. Our room was pleasant, and the bed very comfortable. Internet speed allowed us to stream a show! Breakfast the following morning was in the dining room and was tasty and satisfying. We were able to step out and explore New Milton from the Inn. A brief, but enjoyable stay!

The entire town of New Milford is positively enchanting! The Homestead Inn was delightful, and we were able to hit three of our stops on our Gilmore Girls tour while in town.

Great attention to detail and very clean with excellent instructions upon arrival. We stayed in the Annex which was very nice, private and quiet. A-lot of thought has gone into the details, very comfortable bed and even a heating lamp in the bathroom.

Room was facing a noisy street, and shades did not block out street and outside porch lights. Bed was VERY uncomfortable. Not worth the price.

This was our second time staying at the Homestead Inn. It was wonderful again , we will be staying here again next trip.

Had rules for service dogs that violated the ADA. Charged us extra for having a service dog, this is not legal.

The main house looked beautiful, but with kids we were only able to book a room in the Annex, which was also very well kept. The only complaint we had was that the walls seem paper thin. The guests in the room next to ours entered their room at 12:30am and it sounded as though they were entering out room. They talked for over an hour in their room and we could hear them very easily in ours. I had to turn the bathroom vent on to drown out the noise. Otherwise the property was clean and in a nice central location to where we wanted to be.
4.0
The room was good, but the cleaning products used left a very strong chemical smell that we had to air out for hours and did not fully dissipate. Also, we stayed in the "annex" - this means that we did not see any living soul associated with the establishment since we were not invited to the B&B (no breakfast included in stay) and the staff are only there between 11 and 3: check out is at 11 and no check in before 3. So they are only there during the times that we are not permitted, if you stay for only one night. It did not feel welcoming. However the room was nice and exceptionally close to shops and food, and New Milford is a great small town.
