A beautiful complex, in a truly stunning area of the Basque Country. The staff are great. Maria Vitorica spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Grounds are pristine - wonderful views of the ocean and hills; beautiful gardens; great exercise/obstacle course; tennis court and the pool is even better than the photos! The complex even has a security guard. The apartment unfortunately tarnished our experience. We were unlucky to get a mid-ground floor apartment which slept a max of 5. We were a family of 4, so we’re expecting a bit more space. These apartments are small: long and thin. Master bedroom had a double bed squeezed into one corner, which means climbing over each other to get in and out. Disappointing lack of sunlight from front and rear. There is an oversized terrace which is directly underneath the neighbours’ balcony. It feels like a tunnel. Ground floor also means security worries leaving windows open during hot nights. This place isn’t cheap, so we felt somewhat overcharged. On positive note, it’s clean, lots of clever storage areas, well equipped kitchen and decent shower. Towels changed once a week, so wise to bring your own. If your apartment is important to you, then make sure you are guaranteed either a corner apartment or a first floor apartment. The booking tendency is Saturday to Saturday, and these bookings take priority. Overall, my family loved it and we had a fabulous holiday. We would stay again, only if we were guaranteed a better apartment.

Great location near hiking and close to towns with quaint shopping streets, markets and restaurants. Beautiful view from the pool. Great location for families. Wifi was a bit limited.

This is really a fantastic place. Very clean, great facilities. Roomy apartment. 4 adults and 2 children fit nicely in the 3 bar unit. We loved the pool, playground and obstacle course. My only complaint would be the siesta between 12 and 5 where check-in was not available and the wifi, which was nonexistent. The wifi issue may have been a blessing in disguise because we weren't obsessed with our phones 24/7.

We liked nothing!!!! The sink did not drain, we had to make our own beds, the internet did not work, we had only one towel, our 15 year old did not fit in the bunk bed, nobody to speak to. I demanded a refund after complaining in reception in the morning. I have pictures of the dirt on the floor and the sink filled with water, It did not drain in 10 hours!I suggest that Expedia refuses to pay our stay to this property. The pictures on your site have nothing to do. I have never felt more ripped of in all of my traveling time. The price is out of the market completely! I would not stay for free.Shame this spoiled our day.

The photos on hotels.com do not reflect the true likeness of the rooms. There is definitely no separate lounge/dining room/kitchen and the separate bedroom is more like a walk in wardrobe. Considering there is so much space around the property it is a shame the rooms are not in proportion.
Also the Wifi is non existent, we will not be returning.

The setting is perfect, the view on the ocean (5 minutes walk) is a must see. We had a small apartment, enough to cook for ourselves and get away from restaurants for a little while. This is a vacation site and it was middle of spring so little action around and too cold for the pool. The setting is very nice.

This apartment is located in a middle of ecological zone - basically rural area. There is nothing around except farms, campings and other vacation establishments. The area size is a few miles. There is an excellent swimming pool. No cell phone reception. Perfect for quiet vacation, especially with children. In the evening a couple of dozen sheep come very close. Even though it is extremely close to the ocean, the closest beach is a couple.of miles away. One more thing - there is no air conditioning, even though hotels.com showed that they have. It is possible that I am mistaken , I will check it when I come back. Reception is at limited hours - call them ahead of time. Very friendly stuff, willing to help.

We booked the hotel because we wanted a pool and a break from camping. We looked at the pictures and thought it looked great unfortunately the real thing is a let down. The rooms are tired and old and the studio apartment is a mattress on the floor and two uncomfortable sofas. My best advice would be dont pay upfront as you wont get your money back if you dont like the room. The place itself was very nice although a bar would be nice addition. The views are great the pool is good and you can walk to the sea. There is no beach just some rock climbing and views. We wont be going again and Im still trying to get some compensation from hotels.com whos help with my complaints about this stay has been awful. On this holiday we have camped and stayed in 5 hotels. This was the most expensive and the worst.

The hotel was nice if you knew what you were getting into. This came up as a choice when I chose that I was looking for a hotel in San Sabastian. In reality it was 40 min away from San Sabastian, too far to get to see the city the way we had planned - not even in the same country. Also for people that are travelling around europe using public transportation, be aware that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. You must have a car to get there. Bring food because everything closes very early.
I also had the impression that we could play in the ocean from this hotel, and it is actually at the top of a cliff - beautiful views but disappointing if you had expected to touch water.
The facility itself was fine. They just leave you sheets and you make up your own bed, so dont expect full service. But it was clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

a lovely location and good bus service which saved having to find parking spaces in St Jean de Luz and Hendaye. Arriving at 7.00 pm on a Sunday to find reception about to close and no café/bar was a surprise and necessitated a hasty dash out to Socoa to buy emergency supplies. Bread ordering service for the next day worked well unless you had to make an early start as it wasn't available till 8.30 am.

We couldn't stay it was so bad. Do not stay here. We paid for 4 star accommodation and it was way off the mark. Trying to get full refund. Like a room from the 1980s! Travelled around before and all other accommodation was great but to charge what they do for a dirty broom cupboard. There was another family behind us from Germany who were complaining as well and wanted full refund so not just me.

Apartment was nice for 2 people. Id feel claustrophobic with any more people staying there. Lovely gardens. Nice pool too, just a bit chilly to swim. Too bad thé trees right outside our balcony completely Covered up any views- especially of thé océan that was seen in thé distance. Its a shame they dont just add in thé cost of WIFI to thé price of thé room. Seemed petty to nickel and dîme guests. Offer free wifi and be done with it.
