1 night stay with a baby. There was no kettle but we were able to get it at the reception. The room was quite small and there were hairs on the floor and a few on the bed. The breakfast was great.

We had a great stay at this Hotel. The room was spacious, well thought-out, and we had a lovely view over the extensive grounds. This Hotel loves sports, lots of facilities, especially for bicyclists. The whole building is full of light and space. Would definitely recommend. The staff were great - their English is wonderful!

I would give this hotel rather 3 stars. The rooms are basic but nice & functional. The plumbing was not good: when your neighbour takes a shower there's a lot of noise in the room which woke us up in the morning. Never heard that before... Many of the doors / walls have scratches and could use some paint. There's a very nice parking & good wifi. Breakfast is very nice but it was very crowded so people came too close to each other (Corona measures not followed)

A good clean hotel in the middle of a Sports academy for the Holland Olympic Squad. Rooms are basic but were clean and spacious. No issues with the hotel.

The hotel is more of a convention center with a hotel attached to it rather than the other way round. The hotel accommodation in in one wing reception somewhere in the middle and the restaurant is right in the opposite end in the far corner. Sports is very much the theme here so it was designed for strong sporty people. More difficult if youre mobility is compromised.No mini-bar or even refrigerator or tea & coffee facilities in the room. They gave me a kettle but had to walk out to the reception to get it! They were happy to keep my milk and stuff in their refrigerator for me, but again, I had to walk over to the reception to give it to them and to collect it.Beds were small and narrow. No bedside table. Little things but they make a difference.

The Papendal was convenient for the Arnhem commemorations. The price was comparable. The room was clean. We struggled a bit with the in-room bathroom which meant we had to walk through the bedroom to wash our hands after using the toilet. The lighting wasn´t good. There was no bedside lighting as such meaning one couldn´t read without all the lights on allowing the other to sleep. Also the proximity light in the toilet woke the other when one used it. The beds weren´t the most comfortable we have slept on. The breakfast was excellent.

A modern ultra clean spacious hotel situated in extensive woodland forms part of the National Sports Centre.It is used by sports teams as a training base and for conferences.During our stay the Netherland National Volley ball squad were in the hotel,but despite the large numbers involved it did not impinge on our stay in any way.The rooms were very good,simple,clean and spacious.Bar facilities and restaurant excellent and the staff VERY friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a bit out of the way, but absolutely amazing. Obviously a mecca for athletes and sports enthusiasts, this was a great place to come and recover after the Nijmegen march. Rooms were very comfortable, and the onsite restaurant and pub had healthy and delicious options at fair prices. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel location is not good. Far from the center of arhem so if you dont have a car then open transportation n in that neighbourhood will be complicated. But overall it it a nice hotel Room are ok. But no airconditioning.and i was not aware of that too. Will not stay there anymore

Reception staff were very obliging and had great communications skills. There were a couple of minor problems in the room which were attended to promptly eg (TV not working and water not getting away in bathroom sink) An excellent buffet breakfast served daily.

Managed to get a room, at relatively short notice for a recent visit to Arnhem's 70th Anniversary of the John Frost bridge and upon arrival, very pleased with the hotel and surroundings. More than enough car parking, breakfast very good and plenty of, bar well stocked to support the thirstiest of ex soldiers and hotel staff were helpful. I'd certainly use and recommend this hotel again...

Beautiful, woodland site which is the home of the Dutch Olympic Training facilities. Stunning hotel, unbelievably good value, amazing breakfast buffet included, various golf courses next door, ample opportunity for cycling or walking on site. Superior rooms are spotless, modern and just fantastic. Separate shower room (which was huge) and toilet, powerful shower pressure, hot at any time. Flat screen TV and free wi-fi.

This was a complete surprise. It is a large facility next to the Dutch Olympic Committee's training facility. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great. It is close to the Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kroller Muller Museum. It is remote so one would want to have their own transportation to get to it.

Very basic small rooms. Food in the bar was awful & expensive. Not at all suitable for anyone not travelling as a sports team, very much a hostel. It seemed like a university campus. Staff seemed indifferent. Windows around the hotel looked like a laundry with sports kits hanging out of them.
