Great location but road noise in the room was awful and interfered with sleep. I was in a balcony room on the front of hotel for nights of lights. Not your typical Hilton.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious; exceptionally friendly staff (huge kudos to ladies servicing the in small bar and in housekeeping--outstanding! These ladies went out of their way). Only constructive comment to offer is regarding the shower faucet--move it closer to the door opening. Currently, to turn the water on, you have to get directly in front of the faucet, so you get blasted w/ COLD water until water warms. Great if you've been outside/on beach in 100 weather, but not so good otherwise.

The hotel is in a great location looking over the river and backs up to the historic area. It is very walkable to all the sites and the Fort. The pool was great for cooling off after a day of sightseeing.

This hotel was beautiful, historic and well maintained. The staff was so nice and made all of my requests possible. I booked a bayfront balcony room and it was beautiful. However, next time I would request a non connecting room because we could hear through the door at times. Perfect location! Close to everything you would want to see and do.

Not the relaxing stay I hoped it would be. First of all if you have a service dog be prepared to sign a written form saying you are disabled and what your dog can do. I've been asked before but never had to write or sign anything. There was also no place to park my disabled van. Thankfully I called beforehand and took a different vehicle, but it meant I was not able to sightsee as I had hoped. BTW the van would have fit into the outdoor space so this was doubly disappointing. Room was clean, on final night there were two swarms of termites, one in bathroom and the other on the desk. The ones on the desk crawled into my food and dropped into my suitcase. I had to throw out my dinner and disinfect my clothes and suitcase to avoid bringing them home. The AC was dripping water the second night and it was humid in the room. I wasn't told about the tree surgeon until he passed by my window in a bucket truck. He cut down trees with birds nests so the poor birds kept buzzing the balcony looking for their nests. The balcony was covered with tree debris and had I not called housekeeping it would have stayed unusable for the remainder of the day. Finally, parking was $40 per day, which is outrageous, but I guess you are a captive audience as there is little parking by the hotel. Overall a very disappointing stay and I don't recommend, especially if you are disabled.

A pipe burst in the middle of the night. I heard water coming. The fire department came. No other rooms. I had to sleep in a disgusting waterfilled room. Could not even use the bathroom. Night manager was terrible

This hotel by far was a great choice for our family trip; definately will stay again. I traveled alone without my husband with our two girls and felt very safe. The hotel was in a great location with walking distance to St. George Street and all restaurants in the historic area. We had a short do-able walk (approx. 15-20 minutes) to the Old Jail and Ripley's Believe it or Not. Our hotel balcony was private and faced the bayfront (gorgeous view). Our room was quiet unlike most hotels in St. Augustine having thin walls. The room was clean and serviced daily. We ordered breakfast for room service which was great! Staff was very accommodating for any needs not to mention very friendly. Downside is not having self parking with valet only ($40 daily) but we knew this beforehand so we were prepared. Having the great location was what we were looking to have so having to pay the valet didnt really bother us. My girls and I had a great time; highly recommend this hotel.
