Been to these apartments a few years ago and it looks like it has changed hands. The apartment is in need of repair the patio door was broken couldn’t lock, the shower was broken and the kettle kept tripping the electric. No clean towels and the patio area needed a brush as glass was all over it sorry to say won’t be going back there also seagulls in the pool

Was an absolute joke from checking in over 3 hours after the official time to not getting the room I actually paid for. John cleese ran a tighter ship than these buffoons

The apartment was basic but as it was cheap we expected that. For the money it was good. The only problem was the electricity. It kept going off when several appliances were on. It was easily remedied but an inconvenience.

The rooms were tiny and dated (didn’t look like the pictures) the bathroom was like a 60’s set up, old tiles and the shower was like a small spray. The room only got cleaned once in the week we was there. We had to ask for towels and toilet roll. The balcony was bigger than the room. The pool was also dirty had like a algae covering in one area of the pool and you could see the line around the edge. We had to go to the beach everyday to avoid this. It is in a good location but you do have to walk up cardiac hill first. Also there was a dog that kept us up barking all night behind the apartments. Couldn’t comment on anything else it was just a place to sleep.

Staff were friendly and the pool was nice, but the room was very dated and basic for the price. No air con, so did become quite hot at night. We also added breakfast, which I would not recommend as very little choice and again very basic for the additional cost. Better to bring your own supplies or head out for a better meal.

We stay a few days at the end of March , the balcony overlook the whole of Albufira. Quiet and easy access to the beach and town center. The property is a little dated but you can't complain because the price was so reasonably cheap.

Nice hotel for the price, but if you have problems with steps and hills this may not be the place for you. I stayed in apartment block A8 which is right at the back of the complex and up some steep steps. I ha a partial ocean view from my balcony. I had a usable kitchenette with the basic cooking implements. The beds were sofabeds .

Value for money. Though cleanliness left a little to be desired & room amenities asomewhat sparse. And you need to be able to manage a number of steps to get around the complex..
But an authentic Portuguese experience. I'd do it again.

This is an awful hotel that deserves no stars: Cockroaches in the bathroom, no air con, stuffy old rooms with shabby 1960s decor!

The pool was in the process of being demolished and, therefore, unusable...works were noisy at times...it was a building site!We were not told in advance about this! Having said that, staff were friendly, the food was good, the room was nice and the view was lovely from the room if not from the dining room (aforementioned building site) We should have been warned by Hotels.com. It is somewhat dated and dishevelled but that didnt bother us. We made the best of it and enjoyed ourselves anyway. Work set to continue until at least march but there is another pool available 5mins up the road.

The pictures to the hotel are deceiving, the place was OK. There is NO A/C, as we went in july this was horrible, there were a few cockroaches that were in our room, there is no towel service or anything of that means, the shower area was quite gross and it was very difficult to find. The front desk people were quite rude, my boyfriend is from Portugal and speaks the language but they were still extremely rude and not helpful at all. The only good thing about this hotel was it's location, pretty close to Old Town Albufeira, but on the way back to the hotel you get quite the work out.Overall I would never recommend this place to family & friends, it is what you pay for, we wanted a cheap but close place and we got what we paid for.

Having lived in Albufeira, I chose Albufeira Jardim because of its location to the old town. Its at the top of a hill but the view I had from my balcony was well worth the walk. The staff were very polite, made you feel welcome which was nice as I was on my own. The apartment I had was spotless. A little dated but it is one of the older accomadations in Albufeira. I would definately stay there again. would reccommend it to others too. Excellent price.

Our stay was awful. The staff were fighting for 10 minutes in front of my girlfriend and I. We chose the allinclusive options do once and when we entered the dining hall everyone looked miserable, depressed almost. The food was almost not edible the only saving grace was that we could drink as much iced tea as we wanted.
We tried to get the reception to print out our boarding passes which they then directed us to a pay by the minute computer which gladly ate up 7euros and printed out a laughable attempt. We felt terrible for the people we saw checking into the place and we almost felt the urge to persuade them to leave. All in all this place needs new ownership, a new attitude and a facelift.

This is a all inclusive type of 'hotel'. Lots of Europeans getting drunk and loud on free drinks (part of the all-inclusive). We were there just for a hotel room and location to the town. They put us next to the nightclub which seemed odd as we were not partaking in the all-inclusive. Hotel was very difficult to find by car, very dated, dirty, and musty. One bed was broken, we had silverfish in the room. Not recommended stay.

I specifically searched for a SC apartment with Air Conditioning and found the Albufeira Jardim on Trivago and booked through Hotels.com which stated Climate Control - the only control was to open your door which we refused to do and we couldn't in the 1st room they gave us as it was on the ground level. The door wouldn't lock but thanks to the handyman we got moved to a better room. The outdoor furniture is a disgrace and the rooms have not been decorated in years, but the maids were regular and the beds were comfy. It's a 10 minute walk downhill to the Old Town but brace yourself for the walk back up. We only sat by the pool once (same music every day) and we never used the restaurant. The 2nd room had a lovely big patio area which was a suntrap in the morning (the first had a little courtyard with a huge tree and a rusty table with no chairs). All in all i was disappointed as i paid more for a place with Aircon which was non-existent (and am still waiting to hear back from the booking company on this 9 days later) I would have chosen somewhere a lot cheaper if i had not wanted any Aircon. I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Large group of friends staying in 3 of the 2bedroom apartments. Hotel is fine, no thrills, clean tidy and staff are helpful. Bit of a walk into old town but not too far. Pool is pretty good with pool bar and restaurant close by.

Good holiday food good a nice place to stay. Not good for people with leg problems as it is all uphill.

We arrived at end of October 2014 and very few people in hotel, well actually its an aparthotel as many of the apartments are privately owned. We stayed on fully inclusive and first few days its was buffet meals with. Not a great selection but food was OK. last couple of days we had to order from menu with limited selection. However drinks were free virtually all day!
Hotel is dated and full of steps to get everywhere in the hotel, so beware. We had to go 24 steps to go down to our room from door of block. No lift!! We had a car and had plenty of parking space so no problem getting around the town and found parking spaces but there again it was out of season. The big plus of the hotel was the staff who were so friendly.

The hotel has views of the sea, ours had a garden view and a road but was very quiet and pleasant. The hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful, one was a bit grumpy but maybe having a bad day we all have them! The studio that we had was very clean and towels changed twice during our four night stay and room clean every day and beds made which we didn't expect, a plus. The décor was 70s style and could do with painting to freshen it up but we only used it to sleep in so didn't matter to us. The microwave didn't work properly and only one ring of cooker worked, no kettle, I would take a travel one. We did report this to staff so were aware of it for future clients. The pool area was nice and spacious and seemed clean the staff there were very nice and funny. The steps to the hotel were not as bad as in reviews we had read but if you are of the older generation the steps could be an issue.

This hotel is so rundown. The rooms are old and daggy, I asked to be moved from the first room that I was given as it was dark and depressing like a cave.. The next room was not much better but ok the beds are like sleeping on a concrete slab. The whole complex is in poor condition and not how it looks in the photos. The location is ok about a 15 min down hill walk to the old town and beach, but a steep walk back. I know it is cheap but it needs a lot of work. Groups of drunken men around the pool, obviously no responsible service of alcohol as the were falling over and still bing served drinks. Beware!!

A simple studio flat, cleaned daily around 10:30 am. Clean towels and tea-towels. I used this flat as a base to explore the Algarve. I stayed November time and I rented a car. The hotel / flats are located on hill, but easy to reach driving, the hotel really short walk to Old Albufeira. Of course way back is uphill. The flat had a 3 ring electric hobs / Oven, microwave, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, sink and TV. I rented TV remote for 1 Euro a day + 10 Euro Deposit (returned on check-out). I did not use the swimming pool area as I was out most of time. But it looked tidy and cleaned when visited to have a coffee nearby Hotel restaurant. I cannot comment on food as I haven't eaten there as I was out most of the time. My deal was room only. I am very happy again: simple, tidy, clean and all in work order inside flat. Maybe because of off-season but I have always been able to park in front of entrance of my building.

Sub-standard accommodation, no kettle or toaster and a smell of drains. Staff who weren't very helpful and a payment for mattresses on the sunbeds! Only our chambermaid made our holiday, she was a gem, doing the best she could . The resort was lovely but we wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

The sofa beds were very uncomfortable. the hot water took a long time to heat up so you couldn't have a shower one after another. there was no breakfast which i found rare for a hotel and having to pay to use the sun loungers was ridiculous. The only good thing was the location as it was right near the beach and town and the staff were helpful and friendly.

nice hotel outside but rooms were horrid! had cockroaches and when asked to be upgraded was told they were full! but rest of hotel, pool and resturant etc was nice.
