The staff here is really amazing. The motel isn't top of the line but it is well worth the price. It was clean and the staff was great to work with. We felt very safe coming and going at all hours

I like this place because you can park your vehicle right outside the door of your room. We had a truckload of gear on the way to our vacation and wanted to be nearby so we could hear it if anyone tried to steal anything. However it is a very noisy area. The fan comes on and off all night making it hard to sleep.

Stayed in this small hotel, great service quiet neighborhood. Not big and fancy but did the job, room was clean everything worked (fridge, microwave, AC) office was friendly. Would book again!

I like the it seems safe enough with enough lighting, there was fridge and room looks clean. I didn’t like was the room smelled smoke and moldy.

We were completely satisfied with this property. The desk manager was polite and helpful. Check in and out was simple. The room was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The motel is old, so some may not think it is good enough but it is nice and the neighborhood appeared safe. We were comfortable and have no complaints.

I liked the owner he was very informative checked me in quickly.The room was clean,very basic and well designed for what I needed.its about a 6 minute walk for an old man like myself to the border crossing the property was well lighted and safe and of course the price was perfect

this place is worth the price! everything is clean, the beds are comfortable. the bathroom looks newly remodeled. the rooms are very simple and dont have a lot of decoration. but its definitely worth it. we only stayed for a few hours, since we were just looking to rest after crossing the border, but we had everything we needed. the only thing that it didnt have that i needed was a hair dryer.

Nothing I didn't like. They gave you a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The room was spotless, comfortable and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.

I've been going to Mexicali for years. Sometimes I stay in Mexicali, and sometimes I stay in Calexico - usually to avoid the long waits at the border. By now I have stayed at most of the Calexico border motels, and I can say that California Suites is definitely the best of the bunch. You get the same value as you would at a similar hotel across the border (well, almost), and the management is extremely gracious and accommodating.
