Worked great for our one night stay. Very large and comfortable.

Our stay was not so good since we didn’t have power in the apartment for most of our stay.

Expensive. Have a bus service within 150 meters. Not much attractive for living. May be good for ski athletes. Amenities are ordinary but nice wooden ceilings. A place of
have or have not.

David from Hotel Stille upgraded our standard double room to studio apartment with balcony.
What a pleasant surprise when we opened the door of apartment. Everything is so nice and we wish we could stay longer…
Thank you David for the free upgrade !!
We would like to suggest maybe the hotel could install white light in the living hall area as we feel it would be easier to search for our things in the hall

The place is better than we expected!! David is the one who welcomed us. He is super nice and very responsive!!!! The place is clean and bright. The breakfast in the Youth Hostel is too plain. We checked and left. If you are coming from the train station, take bus 9 and get off at the last stop “Youth Hostel”. The hotel is just across the parking lot. You can buy bus ticket on the bus, 9 CHF/person, but only 1 per hr. Overall, it’s a good place and good value.

We decided to go to the winder polo match at the last second and found Hotel Stille. It is clean and economical. The staff is super kind and helpful! The breakfast buffet is good and there is storage for bags and skis. There is also a bus that runs every 30 minutes in front of the hotel It is filled with skiers heading to the gondola. It's on the other side of the lake from the train station, so if you can get the bus to and from the station, that is ideal is it is only 3 francs compared to around 30 - 40 francs for a taxi. There is a nice little bar and people are super sociable. I met people at breakfast and then saw them at the polo later and we caught up some more. There is a nice little bar, which is full of skiers and fun folks in the evenings. I would recommend it 100%.

It’s nice hotel but no privacy bathroom and toilet. Luckily our next room was empty so we have our own privacy. The reception man was so kind. Thanks

The host upgraded me to a private studio for free! The apartment was modern, squeaky clean, nicely furnished, with floor heating, kitchenette, dish washer, free parking, complimentary toiletries, and stable free wifi. I even got a tourist card from the reception which enabled me to take the cable car to Diavolezza for free (that saved me 40 chf!)
The location is not in downtown St.Moritz, but I definitely prefer St.Moritz-Bad because it's super-close to the lake, the ice skating rink, and the spa (Ovaverva)
To summarize: absolutely recommended!!

I stayed at this hotel on a Tuesday night as a stopover. It was a cold night out for what I’m used to, I believe it was at freezing. The hotel is across the lake from the train and bus station, meaning it would probably take 30-45 min to walk there from that point. I took a bus to a stop nearby for 3 Franks and only had to walk about 5 min. The hotel was warm, the young lady at the lobby super helpful as she helped find me a time and place to catch the bus back to the train station. Breakfast was included. The dining area was very large, had lots of options and was decorated with harvest themes like Thanksgiving. The room was basic and warm, somewhat like an American dorm room in that you shared a shower and bathroom with an adjoining room (but no one was in the adjoining room), and it suited me great. So overall the location and room were good, and the staff, dining area, and overall value excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Best price in the region with majority of hotels already sold out two weeks prior to the Winter Polo event. Hotel was in an easily walking distance from the frozen lake. Room was simple, but for two nights OK. Great view over Alps. Quick check-in and check-out. Breakfast was typical for Switzerland. Hot milk preparation on request only. I'll probably stay here again if the price remains attractive.

Quick & friendly check-in. Breakfast was very good, and I liked that it was already included in my price. Far from everything, but a bus from the train station stops very close. Later in the evening, buses to the main part of town stop just a few minutes walk away; otherwise, it's just residential & no restaurants nearby. Wifi was fine. Room & bathrooms were clean.

The area around the hotel is very quied, short distance and good public connection to skiing and nightlife

Good for a basic stay. No frills but clean.

Hotel was just as expected for a budget hotel. Shared bathroom was nicer than expected (only shared with one other room, and the entrance was connected to the room without exiting to the main hall.) Wifi did not work in the room; wasn't a big deal for one night; would have been for a longer stay.
Breakfast was good; check-out and check-in were both easy and the staff was helpful on finding a restaurant that fit my desires.

Arrived at 6:30pm. Reservation stated 3pm-8pm check-in. There was no one there to check in with, just an envelope with our name. No directions for free WiFi. Shower did not work (no water came out when turned on). View is good... if you look past the lumberyard. If you want a hotel far away from the center of town without any staff, then I guess I guess this is it for you. My best recommendation: stay somewhere else!

You need to be aware of desk hours! Pretty much only the bathroom tissue is supply. Bring your soap and shampoo.

Stayed in the 'studio' room at Hotel Stille. It is a cosy and quiet hotel located up on a slope near the lake. The nearest bus stop is a 8-mins walk from the hotel and it was an enjoyable walk along the way. The room/ mini apartment came with a kitchenette and a small dining/living area. Overall, the stay at the hotel was good and I would recommend it.

This facility is really a dormitory with more than fifty percent of the occupants athletes in training for Olympic and other competitions. The description of the rooms was inadequate in addressing the dorm environment.. "Basic" was the apt description offered by the manager. No elevator provided and limited selections on the breakfast buffet.
