The staff didn’t really have time so it felt unwelcoming and they weren’t very helpful. The room was too hot and the aircon noisy so I couldn’t sleep. The car park is very small so parking locally is an extra cost and a nuisance.

Everything was nice, just we didn’t received any communication about reserving parking in advance. That was abit of inconvenience. Overall easy walk to main streets and lovely breakfast, even for the fussy 8 year old.

The hotel's location is the selling point of the hotel. The hotel lobby is beautiful. My husband, son and I had a nice day. I will strongly recommend the Golden Tree hotel to anyone who will visit Brugge.

Beautiful hotel, a few minutes from the historic city center. Very quiet and clean. But I'm most grateful that when I arrived exhausted and jetlagged at 9 in the morning, they just gave me access to my room right away, hours early, and I was able to sleep and shower!

We stayed 5 nights in late June . The hotel is situated on several bus routes to.the station and is only 10 minutes walk to the Markt in the centre of Bruges .

We were in Bruges for 3 nights and our stay was very nice. The breakfast was too good. The hotel was also very well located and the staff were very nice.

Found the rooms to be rather drab. Not a picture on the wall! We were only furnished with one big towel in spite of us being 2 people. There was a lot of dust on the side table. Corridors were very dark and dingy and a terrible smell in the lobby area which probably came from the cleaner’s mop The lobby was light and well decorated

Quality room and very pleasant leisure facilities (although there is an extra charge to use them). Very convenient for the city centre. There was the smell of drains in the Reception area; but luckily nowhere else.

Staff were friendly and helpful, we can converse well comfortably in English with them. Storage room is a bonus, we could leave the bully items after check out, so we can explore Bruges city center. Lift at the courtyard is very helpful. There are water dispenser and microwave at the common lounge for guests to use. About 20 minutes walk from Bruges train station and less than 10 minutes to reach the edge of the city center. Ample sitting space in the reception and common lounge. Downside is tower heating rail in the bathroom was slightly rusty at the bottom. Another thing is only having decaf coffee in the room. Pretty sure the reception desk would kindly sort this out, in the end we weren't too fussed about it.

Overall this hotel was perfect for our stay! The room was cosy, location fantastic and service excellent. Our room had beautiful skylights which was a feature I really liked. The only negative was an unpleasant smell as you enter thr property. Thankfully though there was no such smell in the room.

This hotel was far better than we expected. It’s beautiful and has been thoughtfully refurbished. We stayed in the lovers room which was a little dusty but really quirky and we loved it. I think it could be a good family room. The gym isn’t great but I appreciate most people aren’t bothered about training whilst away. Staff were great and so welcoming

Happy with the service but carpets from the foyer dirty and worn. Dog mess had been walked into the main entrance and was still there some hours later. Very noisy people in the room above till gone 11pm.

Exceeded my expectations. Beautiful building and friendly helpful staff (could communicate in multiple languages). The layout with the courtyard is unique and very pretty. Excellent breakfast. I was a bit sick while I was staying here but felt comfortable and was able to sleep well. Easy waking distance to the centre of Bruges. Felt safe as a solo traveler. 10/10 would stay again!

Great location, approx 15ns walk to the centre. The room was great, clean and with excellent facilities. We had a double bed and two singles , big bathroom and a small fridge We paid 25E for parking, which was worth it as hassle free and was very secure. Highly recommend for a great value for money stay.

Superb location to explore the city. Staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was ok, standard buffet. Price was about the same as a breakfast you would buy in the city but you have better choices in the city. Car parking, although expensive, was great, secure and within the grounds of the hotel. Rooms were small but perfectly fine for a few nights. No wardrobe space, just some shelves. Beds were comfy. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Rooms lacked ventilation especially it was raining and besides roof windows, there was no other ventilation. Soap and other essentials were not replenished and was empty. Breakfast was OK, not that great either. Reception staff was good, but breakfast host was grumpy at the best! Not worth the value for money.

Hotel extremely well situated, personnel very kind and helpful, breakfast like a 4* hotel (warm food, different dishes, different breads, top quality), airco in the rooms (but not in the dining room what is a pity), parking at the hotel and at 3 minutes by foot (for eventual charging purpose). The only "negative" comment is that the room we had at the 3rd floor had roofbeams (height: from 1,30 m to 2,00 m) with a real danger of hitting the head, especially during the night. so next time, we will ask to have a room at the 1st or 2nd floor. General opinion: very comfortable and pleasant hotel surely worthwhile going to regularly. Alain
