We stayed here one night after flying in to Charleston. This place gets high marks for convenience as the hotel is just down the street from the airport and there is a Chili's restaurant in the same parking lot so we did not have to drive for dinner. However, the room furnishings were a bit worn and oddly oversized for the space so the room felt really small. That's really not too big a deal since we just needed to sleep. But for me, the biggest issues were 1) blood stains on one of the hand towels (so gross! super ick factor!) and 2) low customer service. The front desk person was either super fatigued (possible, the hotel was packed with teenaged competitive cheerleaders so I'm sure it was a tiring day) or really just an unhappy person as check in was entirely perfunctory without any niceties or sense of "welcome." Finally, the woman bartender was downright rude and seemed really bothered to have to serve a drink. As there are plenty of other options in the area, I do not plan to stay here again.

This would’ve been the perfect stay. However, we were charged extra for breakfast of $49 for 2. Prior to booking we made sure to add breakfast to our stay so that it’s already included. Came down for breakfast ,they said it would be clear with the front desk. Before check out, front desk said we were good to go. Called about a week after since the charge never cleared. Almost 2 weeks now and still haven’t been able to made contact with someone that can fix it.
Other than that, this would’ve been a 4-5 star rating .

Helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. Good place to crash after a long flight.

We were assigned a room that had been taken out of service the prior night due to non functioning air conditioning. Rather than reassign us to another room they provided a box fan at 10:30 pm after sending maintenance to service it. The Maintenance Supervisor informed us that the room had been taken out of service the prior night and there was no way to fix the issue. In fact he wrote it on a huge whiteboard so no one would be given that room!!! It was a very uncomfortable stay the first night. Why they assigned us an "out of order" room I have no idea! When we asked to be given a discount for that night's stay they said no because we booked through a third party (Hotels.com). Very annoying. 🙄🙄🙄

The room 606 smelled like urine and they had this commercial fan blowing on the floor all night. I complained and it went on deaf ears. Can I get a credit?

Checked in and went to the room where the keys didn’t work. I went back down to the front desk where the receptionist was not at all apologetic, and suggested I had my cell phone too close. Got new keys, entered the room, only to have the mounted full length mirror fall on me when I tried to open the bathroom door. Called down to the front desk where the receptionist sent maintenance. He cleared a path so we could change to a smaller room. Didn’t even offer to hold the door open while we wheeled our bags over broken glass. We asked for some compensation and were told there was nothing they could do.

I booked a handicap accessible room but was given a non accessible room. The front desk was going to move us but we were to exhausted that night and said we would move in the morning for our second night. The room wasn’t available in the morning so we left our luggage and returned Saturday night. When we got to our room, it was 80 degrees and we were unable to lower the temperature. A maintenance man came and agreed that the air conditioning

Originally there were to be three of us, but two backed out, including the handicapped person for which the suite was ideal. I almost cancelled myself, but since the reservation booked through hotels.com was non-refundable, I decided to go and use the room, and just forego the planned activities in the area. I loved the suite - it was great. I would have loved to just sit by the pool with a book, but check-in was 4PM, and check-out the next day was 11AM - precluding the possibility of enjoying that opportunity (without a room key) to allow access to the peaceful pool area. I would stay here again. Your facility is lovely and the suite was so comfortable. I felt right at home. I'm glad I made the trip.

Nicely designed. Breakfast was great. Staff is personable and pleasant. Close to everything. Didn't realize the convention center was right across the street. We could've walked to our comedy show. We booked the last king room. Happened to be handicap accessible. The hotel could touch up little nics on carpet and walls from wheel chairs to keep the room looking nice. The sleeper sofa cushions were on their last leg. House keeping could've taken a minute to actually cover the boxspring with the cover that exposed the boxspring. Over all one of my more pleasant hotel stays. Enjoyed having to closets and walk in shower. Look forward experiencing a regular king room. Good job! This will be my go to when I'm in Charleston.

Was disappointed with this hotel. Water in the shower was barely warm and you had to run the water for a long while before it got lukewarm. Service was pretty bad too. Location is close to the airport so you cou hear airplanes taking off.
