Room door wouldn't open. Had to get someone at desk to open it. Had to push very hard to open. TV wasn't working - had to again get someone at desk to help. Cable wasn't plugged in. No coffee when I went down to check out. Fruit looked like it had been there for a few days.

Basic room. Fridge froze our soda & a can exploded- huge mess. Charge of $50 extra for our dog. Found this out at check in. Contract workers seem to stay here.

Probably would find another hotel. States “grab and go” breakfast. Went down had a choice of an apple or cutie, no coffee had to Door Dash food. The light in the bathroom made a loud metal screeching noise so you had to take phone with flashlight in bathroom at night so no one was getting woke up. Security chain loose put chair in front of door, table broke. For under new management you would think it would be updated in rooms. Spring beds very uncomfortable. Just very overpriced uncomfortable stay.

Property is older and needs more updates. Part of the room was updated but overall could use a real top to bottom renovation. For a quick 1 night stay this is an economical option.

Good overall and nice location closer to south haven. Affordable.

I booked 2 rooms checked it at 3:00. Left ant went to a Quince when we returned at 3am with key cards in hand one of our rooms were given away. When I went to talk to front desk night counter person was not friendly. I told her this is the last time we will book with you because of her rude reaction about why my room was given away. As I was leaving after finally getting a new room she proceeded to tell me I could check out if I did no like it.

We love this location !

The staff is very friendly but the facility needs some maintenance. Carpet is very old everywhere, aisles and inside the room. We found no hair dryer and no body lotion was provided. Our bed was not comfortable enough and we needed some extra pillows. It was good we only stayed one night.
4.0
The room itself had a funky odor present. There were stains in the carpeting that resembled old animal vomit that was just left there. The shower had hair EVERYWHERE. The faucets, shower head, and drains had soap scum, and hard water marks completely covering the fixtures. Not to mention, the television didn't work either. Final complaint, the occupants next to us had a puppy which did nothing but cry all night long. Hence why we clocked out as early as we did. I highly doubt I will be staying at Econolodge again

Unfortunately we were unable to stay. The key cards did not work, nor did the Staff's Master Key. There was a breakdown of their system. there were no other rooms available. We had to drive 2 hours to get home at 10 pm the evening of our reservation. The individual on staff that evening was apologetic and gladly gave us a refund.

We love it because we can walk to everything and it’s always clean ! Little dated but for the convenience it’s so worth it

the door was hard to open, hairdryer did not work, burnt out lights in bathroom and fridge desk chair was broken

Bed was very uncomfortable and I came home with bites all over my legs. Either bed bugs or fleas?? Breakfast was donuts and watery coffee.

Very tired hotel. Needs some refreshing.

Room smelled like puke upon entering. Ould not get tv to work.

The staff was great! The room was ok but still needs some work, the ceiling where it leaked needs painted and the electrical outlet is missing, and the room smelled musty, Just needs to be updated... Very friendly tho...

The room really just needed updating or refreshing..

Property was clean. However, could not use the tub, shower was the only option. Needed garbage bags and went to the office multiple times and it was empty, no one to be found. The free breakfast was more like a snack and only if you love carbs! Coffee was warm at best. However, it was decent enough. Clean and quiet.

Convenient location, but overpriced for the quality of place.

A basic place to sleep. The room was clean, the shower hot, there were no bugs to be seen, and the bed was decent. They even had a little breakfast in the morning! The place could use some updating though. We stayed 2 nights and were surprised that the maids came in and tidied up each day. That was a nice touch. Overall it was a decent place to stay.

Good, clean budget motel. I recommend their breakfast cookies ;)

The hotel is a little old and outdated. With that said, the room itself was very clean. (I'm a bit particular when it comes to hotel rooms). The other patrons were also very considerate, no loud noises/partying/strange smells, etc. I was there for 5 nights, and my room was freshened up every day, which I greatly appreciated. My only (very minor) complaint was that the "continental breakfast" did not have a lot to offer. There was coffee, juice, granola bars, cookies, fruit and only one kind of bagel (that was not my favorite). That does not deter my 5-star rating. I would definitely stay here in the future.

I am not happy with the $100 room service charge. They take your money then have to wait 3-5 days for the refund ?
That’s ludicrous.
I don’t even get charged that when I go to The Congress Plaza Hotel in Chicago!!

The room smelled terribly musty as u walked in. I left the room wide open for 30 min to try and air it out. The light above the bathroom sink only came on about 1/4 of the way, so using the mirror was out. It was terribly dated (I don’t usually mention that, but it was bad!) The air conditioner was FILTHY, and I really hesitated to turn it on, bc u could see there was all kinds of dirt/trash in it!!! However, it was really hot, so we used it. Thankfully, we only needed it a night. Won’t be returning there!! (I have never said that before, either!) I’m NOT super finicky.

Reception lady was lovely, as was the man who came to get our tv to work. Stairs/rooms very tired, but room pretty clean. Bit of noise from other guests but settled down. Definitely not “100” tv channels as on board outside. Breakfast was very limited but better than nothing. Coffee almost cold. No cereal or fresh milk. Get what you pay for, so ok for the price. Great for the budget conscious.

Place was fine other than needing an updating. Staff was very friendly

Very spacious
We stopped in for a night with no issues.

It's a no frills location, but it met our needs. The desk staff person, Amee (maybe Anee?) was FANTASTIC! She was kind and helpful and clearly has an incredible work ethic (something sorely lacking in workers these days). Our room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The property overall is rundown, but again, for the low cost, we had a comfortable, clean, safe room.

This was not as described and should not be on your site. We could not use the heat/cooling due to mold. The smell was awful. It was midnight and we just wanted to sleep. Left door open to get some fresh air. Blanket was crusty dirty. Springs in bed were not covered. We did not shower. Coffee maker missing parts. No breakfast. The place should be condemned.

The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely delightful. The room was very clean and it was a pleasant stay.
He is a new owner and they do not currently have breakfast, but I would still recommend staying with him.

No maid service entire stay. No breakfast of any kind available. Owners family lives in several of the ground floor rooms. Not very friendly.

The manager was very disrespectful. He kept telling us no smoking or vaping and we understood but he kept on then telling me I was gonna lose my deposit regardless which I never knew I had to pay one. He continued to disrespect so we left. He said to contact you for my refund.

The pillows are the worst. We had a king bed with 3 tiny flat pillows. The remote barely worked. Only enough coffee for 1 very small cup. The mattress was extremely stained. The water pressure was very low. The microwave was too small. The bathroom had visible mold on the ceiling and walls.

Great location. Quiet, clean friendly!!

When we checked into the hotel the man at the desk which was the owner immediately told us that there's no smoking and no pass. However as we unloaded our vehicle it was a huge German Shepherd with the owner's wife who ran over and touch my fiance. We called to the office and informed them that the dog was not on a leash and running up to people and that was scary the owner asked us to leave because of the simple fact we told them about a dog that was not on the leash then the owner insinuated that he feel intimidated by black people because he was shot by a blackam years ago that had nothing to do with the German Shepard running around with no leash. I would advise anyone not to patronize this location because the owner is racist
