Incredible resort!!! I’ve now stayed here twice - once solo and once with my family. Both experiences were extraordinary! Fantastic service, beautiful property, amazing game drives (ask for Patrick!)

Great location, clean rooms but photos looked a bit more spectacular and this is most definitely not a 5 star hotel. The food was disappointing. Coffee was sour, which led me to notice the pot was frequently dirty with old coffee stains at the rim. Bread station was not fresh, pretty stale. I wish the hotel would enforce etiquette - Chinese guests were inconsiderate and frequently hogged all the food stations. Water in this hotel is NOT potable. They give you 2 tiny bottles per day and force you to buy exceptionally overpriced water at each meal. Take large bottled water with you to the camp, though it is apparently not permissible to bring outside water to the restaurant. Staff is overall very polite and helpful.
Beware of Masai people who haggle you for overpriced items, even at the hotel. If you visit their village which is nearby, they charge you $25 USD per person. Politely we declined to buy their trinkets and said we didn’t have cash. After giving us a 1 hour showing of their village and how they are against any modern technology, they told us they take Visa or MasterCard at their village market. Bahaha.
If you take a Balloon Safari which you can book at the hotel - negotiate the price. They seem to charge Americans more for everything which is pretty irritating. We found out that people in our Balloon Safari paid less than we did. Not cool.

This place is a dream. Best place to stay in Masai Mara hands down. And possibly one of my fav places I've ever stayed in the world. Service is top notch. Staff makes you feel like you're family which makes it that much more special. Wish I could stay at least a week to soak in all the healing, peaceful, calming vibes.

Beautiful property and staff! Felt like our home away from home immediately. Would highly recommend.

I had an amazing stay at Sarova Mara Game Camp which is just inside the Sekenani Gate. The service from the moment I entered Reception to the time I left was simply superb. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with toiletries and furnishings and the restaurant provided a wide range of quality food at each meal. Highly recommended and one I definitely plan to revisit

Amazing and beautiful stay at Sarova
Pros: Staff is super friendly and well trained. Food is good, lots of variety. Nice pool area. Good wifi.
I also need to mention our guides Edward and Tony who were superb!
Cons: Not really a con and at no fault of Sarova but fly's and insects so be prepared

Good hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately as we checked out and reached the jeep to take us to the airport (extra $45 pp) the receptionist came running claiming EXTRA payment of $75 pp per game drive. This was not stated anywhere nor were we informed at any point. This was sad end to an otherwise good experience.

The camp is located inside the national park. You can hear animals howling in the night.
Gives you a feeling as if you are among the animals. But with security. The camp itself looks beautiful.

We received excellent service throughout our stay. We communicated with the lodge via email to arrange our booking and received prompt feedback and they even helped us in coordinating our transport / safari package. Amazing trip!!!!

A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 days at the Sarova Mara. Its more of a resort than a game camp. The service, food, setting was all great. Our tent was very comfortable. We had a great safari guide, named Ken, who managed to get us up close and personal(?!) with everything we wanted to see. A champagne breakfast in the garden on our last day there was the icing on the cake. The one thing I would caution future travellers against doing is the cultural excursion to the Masai village. It was not pleasant, and the pressure to buy their trinkets was unbearable.
