Rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area was cosy. Breakfast was rather modest. If you want absolute quietness, then choose something else as there is quite a lot traffic near by. But over all, absolutely worth for the price.

Well, the first thing to consider about this hotel is it one of the few remaining Traditional Balinese style hotels. This will mean that there are some things that are not to everyone's liking. We on the other hand loved it, comfortable, well priced and placed, great staff and beautiful grounds. Other Guests we met varied from 10yr veterans who used this place every visit to first timers like us. Nobody had a bad word to say and were more than happy, greeting each day with healthy smiles and appetites'. Would I stay here again, the answer is yes, now I know my way around better, but I would also like to be closer to my family there, so it is a hard trade off. There are many higher rated hotels in Bali, I guess it depends on what you want to do when you are there. We used this as a home plate for going out and return to, but later my wife and her son went off for three days Island hopping and I just enjoyed the peace and quiet, a swim. a drink and whatever else I felt like doing. I did mention quiet in my list of choices, that is subjective. Balinese youth like to have loud exhaust on their bikes and there would be particular times you might hear them, so noise can be something else. The other type of quiet is serenity in a beautiful garden, lounging or floating in the pool. You can tune out the sounds of the bikes. This was my first trip to Bali, it is also the first time I have had a holiday being able to physically and mentally rest since I joined the Army in 1981.

It needs a lot of love. For all the options that you can found in that section of Bali, I think you can find something better for the price and something way better for some extra dollars. It feels dirty, sheets and towels in bad condition and not exactly giving the impression of clean. We like the pool area.

One of the last truly Balinese Hotel.Friendly staff and a good breakfast .Rooms are spacious and lovely. Great Aircon, tv has 60 channels, good fridge and kettle. Bathroom needs updating. Especially the shower, the whole floor gets flooded, needs silicone.

We had booked a villa. It was awfull, old, paint pealing off, mouldy smell and a discounting bathroom downstairs. Upstairs was a bit better. Villas really bad standards. We were moved to delux rooms next day which were better. But after one night we checked out. Employee were very helpful and pool area fine.

We loved the fact that it was a traditional building, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all our requests, however you can tell they are trying to recover after the COVID pandemic. Overall happy we stayed there.

After a terrible one night stay at another hotel we moved to Puri Dewa Bharata what a difference the staff were friendly and helpful and this hotel was clean. I have stayed here before and I would highly recommend it. I’ll be staying there again when I go back to Bali

Nice pool nice breakfast all at a nice price. Good position , not the first time we have stayed here and won’t be the last . Only bad point .. a noisy lizard at odd times in the roof. ot to forget the great staff

Given a horrible room the first night, the balcony faced a brick wall so insisted on moving to 2nd room, aircon didnt work and were nearly choked with mosi spry etc.next day when we insisted we wouldnt stay we suddenly were given the room in the pics that we had booked. Photos really do make it look better than it is.Its tired and needs updating , but once you get used to your lot, it was ok Staff on whole were all great, helpful and friendly apart from one guy at the pool, rude and miserable and unhelpful.Pool small compared to how big it looks in the pic...only a few beds and 2 broken ones, need to be up early if you want to stay there and sunbathe. Towels on the bed/reserving thing happening.Altogether an ok stay

Just keep in mind that everything here is a little older but you cannot beat the price for what you are getting. There are mosquitos and all sorts of bugs NO MATTER where you stay. Get some repellant incense on amazon before your trip to Bali. You will need them anywhere.

This is a really well situated traditional style place to stay. The buildings are lovely and the frangipani was gorgeous. The beds could definitely do with a topper or new mattress. The rooms were a good size and clean but needed the odd thing sorted like leaky shower etc but overall good. I always had an omelette for breakfast which was nice BUT there was one younger guy serving who was basically bad tempered which really made our party of 5 uncomfortable at certain points of our 5 day stay. One bad apple in a barrel of good apples however. If the owners upgraded the rooms slightly I would come back.

The location is excellent and that’s it! It was dirty and I mean filthy ! Open sewer in the bathroom meant all you could smell was excrement, mosquitos came up said drain and the room was full of them! We had to buy a lot of things to clear up mosquitos. All they did was change towels and asked every day if we wanted our room cleaned, they are terribly lazy! The breakfast was so bad , we ate out every day! When we complained , as they had given us (a couple) two single beds, we were told that we could have an upgrade which we got to a slightly cleaner room! Cleaners do not clean, everything is so dirty! We ended up booking another hotel for the last few of our 11 nights because we just wanted to feel clean and not have stomach issues from the constant smell (I went to the doctor twice) the water in the shower is greasy and you do feel clean whatsoever. Hated it, ruined our stay in Bali

Great location! Convenient & within walking distance for shopping, beach etc. Beautiful Balinese setting with great statues & artwork. Kids loved the pool. Clean & super friendly staff. Only downfall is I got attacked by the mosquitoes on our first night, but my own fault as I forgot to spray before bed 😊
