It is a fairly pleasant hotel with the most staff people I've ever seen, seemingly eager to help you. It's almost fawning. But there are holes. The rooms have lovely light fixtures which manage to cover up most of the light sources. With EVERYTHING turned on, the room is extremely dark. Plus odd 'amenities.' Like, there's a hot water pot in the room, but no coffee or cups to use with it. When I asked for some, they looked at me like I was nuts, provide cups and offered to room service me coffee (at my expense, of course.) Lots of things like that-- like a big, beautiful closet with NO hangers! (When I asked for hangers, again, a look like I was a crazy person-- they had a maid bring me 4 hangers, none of which matched. ). The location is a little on the shady, uncomfortable side but I was okay with it (I would not have gone out at night though.) And finally, it is WAY overpriced for what you get. One of the most expensive hotel rooms I've ever had, but way lacking in value for that-- I was there because I met a tour group there but came in a day early. Their web site/email system is a zero too-- I wrote 4 times about my early arrival and connecting with the tour group (so I would not have to change rooms) and never got any reply. They were 'ready' for me with it when I checked in, but why no replies. I also left something in my room I would have liked them to ship and would have paid for it- but again, no reply to emails.
All in all, an experience I would not recommend.

The property was mediocre at best. The people who work there make the stay terrible. With the exception of a few women waitresses who were nice and 1 male waiter, they were awful. Pretentious as ever and thinking you were staying in THEIR hotel. It was a shame as the property could be a lot better.

Very nice property. The restaurant was very pricey, and the service was fair. The front desk personnel were nice, and helpful.

The hotel was nice. Only issue was the A/C for the rooms would not cool the room.

Everyone there is lovely. They were helpful and dotted on my daughter endlessly.
However the whole place needs a bit of a makeover. The rooms are too dark. Front the furniture to the carpet to the curtains. It’s screaming for a makeover. The rooms and the spa.

I took this hotel for 24 hours as I was on a business trip.I could not work using the Wi-FI which is was terrible. I reminded the reception three times and nothing happened. The internet is extremely slow and is the signal is interrupted every few minutes.Because of that, my university login was locked because of several failed attempts due to internet poor signal. Also the room was not cleaned before my stay. The breakfast is very poor and does not deserve the $200/night stay.

Stopped here for 3 nights on business. Found the hotel clean and my room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was a continental. This included selection of cakes and pastries which were all extremely fresh, meats and cheeses, fresh and tinned fruit, cereals, and a hot basic selection of sausages, scrambled eggs, and tomatoes.Staff spoke broken english which wasnt the best but it didnt cause me a problem.

This hotel was a very nice hotel with great amenities. Clean, easy to find, luxurious, with a nice bar and restaurant. A great business-oriented hotel.
However, the were a few things that compromised my experience I feel obligated to mention. First, it's in kind of a weird, depressed area. There's a dead shopping mall right next door, and there isn't much in the way of restaurants or other retail merchants nearby other than cafés, phone places, and a bank or two. The tram is just a couple of blocks away though, so it's easy to go wherever you want in the city.
Then, there is a shuttle to the airport that is very nice. It's expensive though; 300 MAD. And, after paying my room in full in advance, I was surprised to hear upon checking out that there was an "arrival tax" of 80 MAD that supposedly needed to be paid. I have never heard of this in any other Moroccan hotel, so this may be bogus.
Finally, once you turn off the lights at the switch by the door, there's no way to turn any of them on from anywhere else in the room; you can only turn on the TV or stumble back to the door. I say this because at 12:30 AM, someone called me on the room phone, which I couldn't find because it was so dark. When I did, I called the reception desk to find out what was going on, and whoever answered the phone just laughed and told me to hang up. So then I was awake for two more hours wondering about this.
So nice room, nice hotel, nice amenities, but some weird stuff going on. I might go back to another hotel I've stayed before.

We were impressed by the lobby's appearance, but once to our room it showed a lot of signs of wear. Nothing tearable, and the room was fairly clean, but not as nice as one might think. Hotel staff were pleasant. If you are sick of tangine dinners, I would recommend Coq Magic which is close by to the hotel. Good location, nice parking just outside the hotel.

The hotel is lovely, with an oval open courtyard in the middle around which the rooms are aranged. The service was ok. Front desk very good, but restaurant staff seemed a bit confused - said their buffet would be open til 11 but cleared it away at 10.15, had to be asked 3 times for the bill, didn't know about the items on the menu when asked simple questions. But not a major problem. Shame pool has such restricted opening hours - doesn't open until around 9.30am (again no one was sure exactly) so couldn't use it before work. Didn't seem to be any restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Staff were attentive and helpful. Rooms have not been rennovated recently but for the price they are adequate and comfortable enough. Easy access to tourist sites and conveniently located for anyone on business with mtgs in the city center. Walking distance to Rabat Ville train station was a big plus for me as I also had business mtgs in Casablanca.

The staff were all very accomodating and pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. No amenity was lacking. Although we were in the front of the building on a very busy street corner, it was sufficiently quiet all night, even for my husband the "light" sleeper.
We will definately seek a room here again when we return to Rabat...

I've traveled to Morocco since 1958 and since 1980 abroad every year. This hotel ranks nearly at the bottom of lodgings. The appearance is flashy and satisfaction of four-day experience matches the duration of that flash. Room was clean, buffet par with rest home food but good breakfast. The hotel provides computer online, but only one station for entire occupancy, though the young woman responsible was the most helpful of all the staff.Tangier in 2009, Fes in 2007 we encountered helpful people and satisfactory lodgings. The people of Morocco are most helpful and willing to go out of their way. But service at the Hotel Rabat is the issue: feckless, inept, lazy. I work up ever night at 2 am fearing failed wake-call. However, I was wrong. The osmosis lethargy however was actualized on one afternoon of a very important appoint. From 1:30 to 3:30 I waited in front of hotel for Moroccan friend, with five trips to lobby to check and register my present at hotel and not in my room while colleague telephoned six times only to be told I was elsewhere at the Conference since morning. A popular expression in Syria is “malesh.” This hotel has a franchise on Moroccan “malesh.”Staff, and there are many, busily discoursing among themselves, merely wave directions in answer to questions regarding directions.

We started and ended a round trip of Morocco from Rabat. We stayed at the hotel upon arrival and on the night prior to leaving the country. It was conveniently located to the main Rabat attractions and (depending on traffic)15 minutes from the relatively small Rabat-Sale airport.
We found the hotel staff, for the most part, very helpful and tried to be of assistance.
Room was basic but met our needs.

This hotel shouldn't be a 5 or 3 star hotel at all with it plastic plants!
Expedia should take this hotel off their list.
The Hotel may look nice but as soon as I got off the elevator and walked towards my room at the end of dark hallway where not a single light bulp on!
The room was also dirty with old dirty bed sheets. The room was half balck with the least lights.
The nice house keeper was still cleaning the bathroom at 430 PM.
The towels looked like they were original since they opened the hotel.
The best thing was I only had to saty there one night only. Never ever ever at this hotel again,

Efficient and friendly personnel. Quick check-in and check-out. Checked in late but no problem ordering food to the room. Even ordered a pint of beer from the pub and it was in my room in seconds. Room very clean and and well-maintained.I read some negative comments about this hotel and was apprehensive about booking it, but i once there I was positively surprised. Management must have acted on the negative reviews and turned things around drastically.I am in Rabat on a regular basis and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The card key lock for my room malfunctioned. The toilet ran. The hotel could not supply a power adapter. The breakfast was just tolerable. Still it was cheap and conveniently located. Two-star quality in a (would-be) five-star building.

Not the best place for a business traveller. Nice breakfast. They charge for every single service. Even the pool and gym. Rooms are dark making it difficlut to work in the evening.

The overall experience at this hotel was okay. There were no major inconveniences, I found the included breakfast to be quite good, and the location was convenient to downtown-area restaurants and the medina. However, potential guests should be aware that the hotel nickels and dimes you for just about everything: internet access (~$10/hour), gym usage (~$10/hr--and the equipment is minimal!), use of the indoor pool, etc.. Also, my room was extremely dark and the lamps didn't provide enough light to work there comfortably in at night. The TV had a limited channel selection and only one English-language channel (BBC).

For a 5 Star hotel was not well informed on restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood and was not able to provide adequate support at a reasonable price for tourist guides around the city.

The hotel was extremely noisy. The noise emanating from the hotel bar/disco should be significantly reduced after 10:00 p.m., especially because the rooms overlook the lobby. The conditions of the room/hotel were generally good, but it the high cost for WiFi connection and inflated cost of transportation/taxi suggested by the hotel staff left me feeling a bit cheated. While it's not a terrible place, I would not stay there again.

Customer service was lacking. Too many useless employees, lack of management. Needs improvement. This was listed as 5 star hotel but food was low quality. Lobby is very noisy due to atrium. You can sit in the lobby bar for an hour without anyone offering you food or drink service. During my stay the phone system was out of service and the elevator was broken. The TV remote was not working. Two door cards were needed to turn on room lights. Room was not cleaned until 3pm each day. Towels are very old and rough. You see employees arguing among themselves in front of hotel guests. Employees at the check-in desk were playing cards while I waited to be checked in, and the same was true at the bar. This hotel needs renovation and new management.
