Great Hotel and in good location. Because it's basically in the mid point between the train station (5 to 7 minutes walk) and city center (also 5 to 7 minutes walk).

The City Hotel is located in a great location and has all comforts needed for a nice stay. The room size was ample and the bathroom was large as well with a comfortable shower There were hooks and shelves to keep your belongings. There were 2 suitcase benches and plenty of space on the desk and in closet. When the hairdryer failed, the staff quickly brought up a handheld replacement. It was a fantastic choice for a weekend away near the city center.

It says it’s 4 star but the feel is more like 3 star …reception staff could be nicer ….rooms were decent and clean …. But the best part was promixity to old town .

The location was excellent . Close and walking distance to restaurants and shopping centers. Very spacious, clean rooms and comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant and service oriented.

Definitely amazing hotel. Very large parking available. The room is comfortable and noiseproof. Bed are hard the right way for back problems. They have a very various breakfast ( which start early enough) and their restaurant offers snacks which are super large and not expensive at all. The hotel is right in the center ( 1-2min walk from the 2 bridges)

Room uncomfortable airless without air conditioning and open window did not help as overlooked covered atrium. Hotel refused ti turn on air instead offered a fan which made no difference so 3 sleepless nights

This hotel was only for one night but very nice and quiet. I was pleased with everything. One of the most important was the breakfast in the morning. If you went away from this breakfast hungary or felt it didnt have what you liked, its your own fault. The City hotel had the BEST breakfast offered at a hotel in my 59 years. This place was AWESOME for breakfast and the food was delicious. Keep up the good work and the FOOD !!! Thank you

Very good location, walkable to all the main attractions but still outside the main turistic area. There is a supermarket 3min walk from the hotel. Room was on 7th floor, good size, the bed was amazing (personal thing but for me the mattress was top-notch), pillows a bit too soft for my liking. The room was facing quiet side rather than the main street so no problem with noise. The only negative was a hair-dryer which was switching off every 1 min so drying hair took longer than expected. Reception staff was nice and helpful, a bit too long wait in a bar, the staff look stressed. Breakfast was great, plenty of choices. I ordered only once from the bar and the food could be better served and should be hot rather than warmish (had typical slovenian cottage cheese dumplings with mushroo sauce). Would stay here again as overall nice experience and good value for money.

Great location, the bar staff were very friendly. Our room had lots of ants crawling up the walls and over the carpet. After reporting this to reception we were located to another upgraded room with a castle view and balcony. We took the shuttle bus to the airport @ 12 Euros per person. It was late, 20 mins in arriving and also did stops to pick up other people enroute, so would advise to take an earlier one.

Stayed in same hotel 20 years previously, excellent location for city centre and bus station. Great buffet, good selection of food. Terrace bar a lovely space with good bar snacks. Room quite small, but functional with space for suitcases. Good shower. Not the best air conditioning. Would stay again if in city.

Amazing location within a 5-10 minute walk to all the sites and restaurants. 10 min walk to the train station. Great staff, great breakfast and large stand up shower . Lobby is a little “dated” and the hotel’s air conditioning max @ 24•c which is not conducive when it’s 30•c outside. Nothing worse that a warm stuffy room after a day of site seeing. They have a pillow menu so you can choose which type of pillow works for you, feather, synthetic etc. Great hotel minus the AC issue and the lack lustre WIFI signal in the rooms

Great hotel in a great location. Ljubljana is at your fingertips when staying here. Breakfast was super with a huge offering and the staff was always pleasant. Only negative is the room a/c could’ve gotten a little cooler. :(

I had a wonderful stay at City hotel. It was a great location which was convenient and close to all the attractions i was visiting. The check in process was very quick and the staff were very friendly and kind. They were even nice enough to upgrade my room to a larger one which was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was a bit crowded but it had enough options and was pleased with it. Overall a great stay!
