We absolutely love this hotel ! My parents have been coming here for 20 years. Rooms and hotel grounds are beautiful ! We Hate leaving !

4 stars for the staff, location on the bay and the beautiful landscaping. All of the staff, Except the front desk representative, had the wonderful aloha Spirit.
Everyone should know that this property is part timeshare and part hotel or villas. I was told by Expedia in writing, I would get a queen bed which ended up being a Murphy pulldown bed, which was probably decades old. The room was very old. It was the lock off room from a larger main room. When I asked Marriott about getting Murphy bed instead of a queen bed, she said that Expedia can do that! A Murphy bed is a queen bed! If you read the fine print, it says that the hotel can give you something different or what’s available. I doubt I will ever use Expedia again, Because of this reason.
The landline phone did not worked when I Got up in the morning. The cellular was spotty on the lanai. The staff said that only Verizon works well. If you have any kind of mobility disability or problem with a resort that is like a plantation, I would recommend not staying here. The vibe I got was that they’re trying to fill the timeshare units. I had a choice to stay in any hotel in the Lihue or Poipu area, and I was burned. Beware

What a beautiful hotel!! Their oceanfront rooms were unbelievable! The pool and beach was the best for our small toddler with close to no waves and chairs right on the sand or grass at the beach. We loved visiting dukes for dinner too, what a great restaurant with beautiful views!
3.0
Great family friendly resort right next to the beach. Walkable retail nearby and some decent restaurants.
Only complaints were due to the shortage of local labor available. Our check in process was disjointed and took constant monitoring to get our room at the “guaranteed check in time” and many of the local shops were closed due to no employees.

We had a garden studio room and it had a Murphy bed which was not comfortable at all!

Ideal setting. Beautiful facility.

Enjoyed our stay. Will stay here next time we’re on Kauai

Staff and the services were amazing. The amenities was great and close by. Really enjoyed the owners lounge where they have games, books and tv while you wait for your flight for free and still have access to the pool, showers, and other amenities. What a great idea! The only thing that we didn't enjoy was the room, it was crowded and out dated.
2.5
Wonderful little room with a fabulous view, kitchenette (with sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee pot with filters and ground coffee) and a queen size Murphy bed

The staff were amazing, but the guests not so much. Felt like I was in a baby boomer time warp. Too many elderly people

Although I didn’t realized the room was a wall bed, the ocean view made up for it. Wall bed comfort wasn’t too bad. Additional amenities helped, microwave, dishes, dish washer, no stove but I liked trying out the food they offer outside. Tip tip cafe was my fav. Boat ride was worth it seeing the Nāpali Coast. Liked that it was only 6 minutes away from airport. Staff were friendly.

Nice villa with comfortable bed and great shower! Liked the makeup mirror in the bathroom. Nice restaurant on the property. Wonderful huge pool with tons of chairs. Never had to worry about finding a chair even in the afternoon. Parking lot was convenient next to the resort.

Hi, State was actually only one question I just wonder why they have the national fish of Japan as it showcase second to the national bird of Hawaii I don’t know for me the United States should be its main show place animals and everything else as an experience read, not the United Nations or should I say you are not the United Nations

If you’re not trying to hear construction, want to stay at a nice resort, want good service, want people to answer the hotel phones… this ain’t the place. If you want to pay for ocean views and spend the trip staring at a roof… this is the place for you!

Very nice place, BUT...they were doing construction work that I wasn't warned about ahead of time, couldn't use the room patio , had to keep the curtains closed, couldn't use the fire pits around the pool because thay had furniture, but no cushions

Overall was below average. Hotel is split into 2 and we felt like we were constantly taking sides for simple stuff like checking bags and valet. Staff was very friendly, but was handcuffed by all the “limits” and the “can’t do that” attitude. Great room, but we will no longer be staying here.

Great pool and location. No other property like it for beach and pool access.

Property is nice, grounds are beautiful. Staff is great. Relative to other resorts, there aren't many amenities, but would still recommend.
Don't recommend using exp edia to book because they will conceal details. Because of airplane issues was charged for a night I didn't stay and got no help.

We did not feel like a priority as an Expedia guest. This is a timeshare property. Forced late check in, required early check out. There were people knocking on our door at 9am asking for us to leave. Never had that before. The rooms are old and cheap. You're paying for the pool and beach access, everything else is mediocre at best. Won’t be staying here again.

Overall, the property was quite nice, very clean, the gardens were stunning. My only bummer experience was that we paid extra for a beachfront king bed room; however, when we arrived we could only be assigned a beachfront with 2 double beds. We were quite bummed and I imagine the front desk gentleman did what he could but we were fairly disappointed.
The property is quite nice, well kept, and beautiful.

This was our first stop of our two year anniversary and it did not disappoint! The resort was under renovation but it was still breathtaking. The koi pond and garden were incredibly tranquil. The pool was a blast and we could not stop enjoying the view!

Overall it was a great place to stay. The only thing I didn’t like was the early check out time 10am.

Beautiful pool area!!!

Checked in early and wasn't prepared to have my queen bed be a wall bed for the price I was paying for the room. It was super saggy and there was no lumbar support, kinda like sleeping on a hide-a-bed sofa. The pool was amazing and location is great. New outdoor furniture would be nice, the chaise lounge chairs at the pool are old and don't even match. No umbrellas either...tried to upgrade my room but wasn't allowed because I was using a 3rd party app. Hotels.com customer representative even called and tried to upgrade me but there was no luck. Room description needs to be more clear on these types of rooms with wall beds.

Paid for nice ocean view room. Room was partial view at best. Overpriced! Paid less for room at Aulaini! Disappointed

This was a perfect place to stay. Great location to see the sights around the property but the grounds themselves are beautiful. We could have spent a week at the resort and never run out of something to do. Our favorite hotel out of the three we visited across the Hawaiian islands

Pool was great
