The hotel was very nice and easy to find. There were a few little things in the hotel that were less than perfect (stain on rug, broken shelf in shower, shower floor could've used a scrub) but overall it was great and we loved the big, fluffy blankets!
My biggest (and only real) issue was the waffle and pancakes we ordered from room service breakfast were very much undercooked and only partially edible. That being said, i would stay here again, but go out for breakfast.

From the moment we pulled up to the front entrance, the staff was fantastic, everyone was pleasant and professional. The hotel was quiet, the room was clean and comfortable. I was there for a conference, and everything was perfect. My wife was with me, and the atmosphere was do relaxing, we stayed an extra night.

The hotel is clean, modern, quiet and safe. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking. Easy drive to downtown Richmond. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The rooms were quite nice. Missed the robes and extra amenities, but I understand you have to make a profit and those things add up. The decor was lovely to look at, but the seating furniture in the room was the most uncomfortable ever!!! Looks cool but try sitting in it to read a book. Had to go to the lobby were the barrel chairs were great.

I stay in hotels due to work travel often. Rooms usually smell lived in. This was the furst room all year, where it smelled clean. That helped me to feel comfortable in and around the environment.
The issues I experienced, the room door was hard to open as was the refrigerator (which I greatly appreciated). They were stuck and took some tugging and pushing to open the door.

In judging the previous reviews, I noticed most folks seemed to have had a positive experience at this Westin location. That being said, there were those negatives reviews that stuck out to me that should have had me to consider staying somewhere else.
Here’s short of it all. This property is aesthetically beautiful from the outside. Once inside the lobby the front desk decor looks pretty nice. My room on the other hand was not up to par. Especially since these rooms around $200/night.
There was hair in the shower, small spots of blood on the comforter and the carpet was soiled in the hallway and in my room as well.
Lastly, when I preparing to check out, there was no one at the front desk. A couple of minutes later someone comes from the bar area and asked me if I’m checking out and how did I want my receipt. Not “How was your stay?”
Overall this place is underwhelming and not worth the money in opinion. I will not be returning in the future.

I was only there overnight and while the hotel was fine for my needs, it seems to lack the extras you expect from a Westin. Also, the front desk and restaurant staff were very low energy and provided the most basic level of service.

Old and not clean for a Westin hotel
Front desk manager seemed reluctant with poor customer service.
Ordered a chicken dish from the restaurant, but trashed it as the chicken seemed under cooked.
Thought about calling the restaurant for a refund but thought too much hassle:(
Never coming back to this Hotel and I will be more cautious with booking Westin and Marriott.

Great hotel. Location is good if you have business in the area, but it’s not close for walking to historic parts of Richmond. I was in town for business so it was good for that purpose.

Just as when my wife and I stayed there three years prior, the beds are always super comfy. Our view from the seventh floor was beautiful. The real highlight to the trip was the stellar service from Kelsey, the food and beverage manager, and Lauren our server/bartender at hotel restaurant, Small Batch. They both were super friendly and an attentive to our needs. We look forward to staying there again soon

The hotel experience was quite disappointing. One elevator was out of order and the other malfunctioned, causing us to wait over 20 minutes each time we needed to go to or from our room. In town for a wedding, we initially had to take multiple trips down the stairs. Eventually, we were allowed to use the service elevator, which, although a long walk, spared us the wait. On the wedding day, my wife had to lift her dress to avoid water on the floor while using the service elevator, all while dressed in formal attire. Overall, it was a very poor experience. We usually prefer the Westin, but maybe we'll consider a Hilton property next time.

the room needed some changes. the is a chair but to get to it you must remove the little desk. the spray house in the shower leaked all over the floor - I fixed it by tightening the connection. One of the elivators would not allow the card to register. the restaurasnt would not sell me one piece of toast and one egg. Had to waist food by ordering two and eating half, the manager of the restaurant did not know what marmalade was. the server knew.

Stayed here on the way to NJ coming up from Florida. Comfortable beds, clean room, efficient and friendly check in. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. fast friendly service nice menu, good food. If I had to say anything negative it was about breakfast before we left. Server was not nice, order took a long time, order was incorrect and cold. Overall great experience!

It was okay. Phone did not work. Was supposed to get a king room ended up with doubles but they did give us Club level, even though we should have had that anyway.
We slept, we ate, we had a hot shower. All good.

The room had terrible stains in the carpet. It was so disgusting that I had to bathe my dogs after leaving your hotel. Never ever have I stayed in a hotel that looked so dirty. You should remove all horrific stains before renting a room or keep it out of commission. I would have taken pictures of the deplorable carpet condition if I had planned on providing a review just so you could understand what state the room was in.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was clean and service was lovely. No hassles over Wifi or bottled water, which I really appreciated. The food in their on-site restaurant was tasty! Ample room to sit in the lobby and work or comfortably sit and chat. If I’m ever in Richmond again, I’d stay here again for sure.

I was in town for a wedding, and was very impressed. I was on the second floor which seemed like it had been renovated. It was clean, the beds were wonderful, the parking was free…I have zero complaints and would stay there again.

Flew in at Midnight and after already paying and booking for a room the staff at the front desk did not know how to work the credit card machine. Using a Corporate credit card with no pin the employee says that we must use a debit card. Never had that happen before. As I swiped the card it required a pin.
Checking out the ladie was rude and would not give me a print out receipt as requested because she told me that I did not need it.
Left Sunday morning to fly back home and found that they closed the restaurant so no breakfast or coffee. This was not disclosed to us prior to staying or checking in. Made it so we could not have food for the rest of the day due to a 8 hour flight. Very disappointing as we stay here every year but next year will change.
