The place was super dirty, I could literally see the dust layer above the furniture. There was hair in the bed sheets and I didn’t have the courage to turn on the heater/ac because of the amount of dirt I could see inside of it (I have allergies). There wasn’t extra blankets so I just stayed cold (it was 28 F) There wasn’t anyone in the reception for check-in. I needed to call a number so someone could come, and the person didn’t come happy. The curtains didn’t block the light coming from outside, so the bedroom was pretty bright. I had a terrible experience.

We stayed for the holiday parade and for the night, it was an ok stay. Very loud heater. The upstairs neighbors were loud but that's not Westerner's fault. I would stay again if I only need it for the night as it's close to restaurants and Safeway but definitley not longer as the towels were dirty and it was not the cleanest. I had to call the phone number on the sticky note on the door for someone to come to the office to check me in. And I was instructed to drop off the key in the bin outside the office that is easily accessible for anyone to take.

Older motel but clean and well taken care of. Front desk is not manned and you have to call a phone number and a clerk from another area hotel has to come over to let you in. This stay was off season. I enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Was terrible! I booked three rooms. Four guys on a golf trip all in one car. When we arrived we were told that two of the three rooms were moved to another hotel in town. I had to drive the other two guys to the other hotel and drive back

Not a place to stay for comfort.

I like older motels on Route 66. This one was pleasant and comfortable. The room was a good size and in pretty good shape. It pretty clean, perfect for a few days. Down fall, the toilet was to small. Seamed like it was made for a child. The Staff was very friendly, I enjoyed talking with them! I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

There is a strange smell in the room

Ice machine was not working. Wi-fi was not working. Property itself is very old and needs upkeep. When you check in there was a whole list of what you couldn't do and a $150 charge if your violated any of the restrictions - not very customer friendly. And I was charged $20 more than quoted via Expedia because of extra charges. On the flip side, the front desk manager was very cooperative and did the best she could with what she had.

Standard room with few amenities, but what more does one person need.

Bed & shower were good--some of the best sleep I've had in a while. Wifi worked when it wanted to--sometimes I could stream a movie and sometimes I couldn't load a simple web page. Front desk was very helpful. Great location.
However there is an $8 nightly extra charge for water that is not advertised nor included in the "taxes and fees included."

Smoke detector went off 3 different times through the night. No smoke. When we mentioned it they said if the people upstairs bounce or step hard it seems to do that. 🙄 well the people upstairs did "walk heavy" all night. Floor was so dirty it made our feet black. Coffee maker didn’t work. No service or people to contact for help if needed during the night.

First off, the rooms are clean and the staff at checkin was very nice.
So why the one star review? Well, two main reasons:
1. They charge a water fee on top of the nightly rate. Just factor that into your nightly rate, when I get a price, I expect all mandatory taxes and fees to be included, no matter where I get the quote from.
2. They have no ice machine.
Utilities and ice machines are basics that you expect to be included in any hotel stay, I mean it is one thing if the machine just broke and you are waiting on a technician to come out, but if that happens, you go to Safeway and buy ice for your guests until it is fixed. And utilities are just a cost of doing business, you factor them into your pricing.

My friend and I visited Williams before, as usual we had a wonderful stay.

Nice place to stay fair price but no breakfast.

Check in was perfect. She was professional and thorough. The accommodations were a bit "tired" and really need a revamping. There were many electrical extension bars that were hanging off the wall. It would be nice to have outdoor chairs right outside our door. Sheets were thin, old and could use replacing. Good motel for a nights sleep but it needs attention to the details.

Lovely little Rte. 66 motel, original and charming but with some updates like a new shower. Super staff and quiet peaceful, good night' sleep! Thank you for NO BARKING DOGS, so many places allow this to ruin peoples' quality of life at a place where you pay dearly to rest.

We really enjoyed our stay! I love how the rooms are all accessible through a central garden area. The room itself has a small kitchen area including a stove. However, there is nothing in the room that would allow you to cook (no pots, silverware, plates or anything). There was a nice pool area with a cool pool as well as a hot tub. They don’t seem to come to empty garbages or give you fresh towels throughout your stay unless you request it. Also enjoyed the complimentary coffee bar area they have! Toasters are also available in the coffee bar so we were able to make toast for our breakfast as there is no breakfast available onsite. Staff were friendly and helpful! Definitely a nice place that we would stay again!

Very basic accommodation. Definitely in need of some repairs and updates to the rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff! If you are relying on wifi, this is not the place for you. Wifi was extremely unreliable. It was more off than on. Definitely much cheaper than any other place we could find in Williams so I might stay again to keep costs down. Within walking distance of Safeway and many other places.

When I arrived at the property around 5pm, they had added an "other" charge of $17 above what Expedia had said. I know some properties do this, but, at 5pm, I'm stuck. To me, this is fraud.
Too bad, because their rooms were clean, well-maintained but old (my kind of place), and I'm looking for a motel to stay in Williams on-and-off during their off season.
If the owners of the Westerner want to know why the American public has such a bad attitude towards American business, these people need to look in the mirror.

The staff were great. The property is in a perfect walkable location to everything. Things I didn’t enjoy…. There was no extra security lock you could put on the door from the inside, the room didn’t seem thoroughly cleaned, the tv had a lot of issues working properly, the linen had previous stains on them, the shower walls had didn’t seem clean, I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the sheets. I literally slept on top of the blankets and used my sleeping bag.

Convenient location to amenities

Old rooms, no electronic lock, other things like no ice machine, the entire property needs to be renovated
