Room was spacious and very clean. Bed very comfortable. Microwave, fridge, very informative booklet regarding the room amenities and services of hotel and town. The price was extremely reasonable. The breakfast was good but could have used some protein foods for folks with diabetes, low carb or gluten free needs. We would definitely stay there again.

Worst nights sleep ever! Nice place, clean, friendly and good breakfast. But the second floor air-conditioning drips water on the window sill of the first floor. Al I heard all night was DRIP, DRIP, DRIP.

The beds were very very hard no comforbale at all. My husband and my mom were very sore when we woke up this morning. We left earliy. The staff was not nice when we checked in or when we left. The tub filled up with water when i took a shower. Te hot tub jets didnot work they would come on for like 20 sec and the off for like 20. The pool was dirty. Didnot get the room resverd. I resverd the room for pet friendly even though we didnot have a pet it never said we had to have pets. We will never be coming again. I did the resver now pay at the hotel when we got there the lady said it was all ready paid for. We will never come again. Coffee was bad.

I really like the location which is Central to the Rice Lake area. The staff were all really friendly. The breakfast offerings were a complete bore but who cares. The room was nice and clean.

Stay was great - one suggestion. Our room was in an adjacent 1 story bldg. It was VERY nice , but the flooring was a dark wood & it tended to "bleed" dark color onto feet & socks.....should be scrubbed I think, rather than just swept or dusted. Otherwise everything was good. Desk people were very helpful & accommodating.

Good location. Lots of places to eat within walking distance Vending machine on second floor took money but did not dispense product. Desk attendant did not know how to resolve this issue. Desk attendant did not volunteer she had sodas behind the desk for sale when I stated I was looking for a vending machine. No view

Due to our plane from out of state being cancelled that would have brought us to wisconsin and our hotel, I called the hotel to cancel to get my refund. And the newer employee of the hotel said she needed to talk to the manager and put me on hold. Instead, she had me on speaker phone talking with the manager who made no effort to assist us or give us a reason why she wouldn't give us the refund. Terrible hospitality management. This was a world-wide issue as to our cancelled flight.

The main things you need to know about this location is that there are additional rooms not attached to the main building. We were put in this area with my 9 yr old autistic nephew that just wanted the swimming pool so it was difficult to go back and forth through the parking lot to the pool. Overall the room was clean, loved that the floor was not carpet! The bathroom was very small, caught my toe with the door opening it. The beds were comfortable but the curtains were not blackout and in the morning the sun beamed through.

Econolodge in Rice Lake was good. I was disappointed to not be in the main building. I had room 120 in the adjacent building which is 1 story, has outside entrances &.where rhose traveling with pets stay. ? For some reason Expedia reserved me a pet room? The 2 other things about room 120 that bothered me, in addition to the outside entrance, were: The room is next to the big outside ashtray which meant anyone outside to smoke were right outside this d& old smoke wafted in when the door opened. The AC unit is avery loud! It is high on the wall in the bathroom area & hard to adjust. I did mention these items to the desk clerk when I checked out.

Clean and quiet property. Staff were always helpful and friendly. I ended up extending my stay 3 different times and I’ve been happy with cleanliness of common areas. My only wishes were 1. That breakfast was more than just snacks 2 That housekeeping did rooms daily unless asked not to like beds, towels, garbage and little things everyday with rooms. I’ve had to get more towels, Kleenex, toilet paper and garbage bags numerous times on my stay.

Great stay in Rice Lake. The hotel was quiet, very clean and spacious. The room was very large and had a nice microwave and fridge. We had a wide assortment of doughnuts and muffins to satisfy my sweet tooth and my husband enjoyed his hard boiled eggs for protein. The hot tub and pool was great and they had plenty of pool towels. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

Very rude service! We were told in order to get a towel we had to exchange a towel cause they had no room service on the weekends. We had a room for 4 and only got 2 towels and 2 wash clothes and when we went to ask for more they told us that we couldnt get anymore as they were out. So we used our beach towel that that we used in the pool and also the bath mat towel that was made for the floor. Front desk cared more about the cigarette breaks than customer service... one lady even quoted "Im pregnant and really dont need to put up with this" when she was referring to kids playing and she was upset. THE Cops showed up twice while we were sitting in the lobby. The beds were terribly small and out mattress cover was ripped. On a plus side the pool was warm for the kids and they liked that. Wont be staying there again and its sad cause its a beautiful place just terrible employees.

We stayed while our dog was having surgery at the local animal hospital. The pet-friendly rooms were perfect, and in a separate building than the main hotel. The manager kindly allowed us a late checkout while we waited to pick-up our pup. There is some road noise if you're not used to it, and breakfast is basic pastries and cereal with a waffle maker. Overall a good experience.

Tv remote didn't work. Office Chair was broke. Beds were hard as a rock and could feel the springs. I paid for a room with 2 queen beds and got a room with 2 full size beds. Hot tub was out of order. Exhaust fans twitch in bathroom was broke.
