Hotel have perfect location- just in the centre, where are restaurants and market nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Towels and bedsheets were clean, but hotel is bit old, and room overall wasn't 100% clean and on the walls was a bit of mould, and we found 1 cockroach inside the room.

We stayed at this hotel, a family room (a king bed and two single beds) for four nights. The room was large, yet the room was old. There were some need to be fixed as well. For example, the TV in the room was completely broken, the bathtub had black stains and cracks, and sealing was falling out here and there. The staff were kind and helpful. However, only some staff were able to communicate in English. Since we did not know Vietnamese, it was sometimes difficult to get ourselves understood. Breakfast was included, but we did not use the service at all because we wanted to try different food during our short stay in Hanoi. There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. It is not a luxurious hotel or anything, but we had a satisfactory time there. I have nothing to complain, but if I have another chance visiting Hanoi, I would probably try different facility since there are so many other options in the city.

first of all, this is not a 5 star hotel if you are expecting one, you should continue looking the hotel is a older one, so you should expect some flaws But, for what you pay, and what you get, it is a bargain ! All we needed was a bed to sleep in and a central location. The hotel is situated in the old quarter, there are many eateries nearby, the closest being a pho restaurant and a ban mi restaurant, literally a 8 second walk once you walk out the front door of the hotel. Our room came with breakfast included. It was modest but quite filling. The breakfast had made to order omelet and Pho, as well as some hot entries.Of course there was fresh fruit, toast, coffee, tea and juice. What sets this hotel apart from the rest is the staff. THEY WERE PHENOMENAL !!! Everyone from house keeping, restaurant staff, front desk etc all were absolutely welcoming and gracious. Prior to our arrival, Ivy arranged for our tours on multiple days and also recomended many good eateries as well as shopping suggestions. She never steered us wrong. Being it was our first trip to Vietnam, we were a bit worried , but she told us not to be worried, and she was true to her word. A true gem !!

Our first impression wasn’t the best. We checked in late at night and it was really slow and not very welcoming. The room I shared with my sister and nephew smelled pretty bad and the room my brother and wife was too noisy (traffic and horns) but we were too tired to complain, I filled in my review through hotels.com and the next morning the staff was super nice and friendly with us. Breakfast was good too.

The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. We booked the one night standard room and was upgraded to the room with balcony and windows.The location is right next to the nightly market street.Beds and room are comfortable and well maintain.Although the breakfast selection is very average and run out very early.

Kim couldn't do enough to help us out with vookong trips and excellent little haunts that only locals know about. No matter the time of day she always greeted you with a smile. She is the little diamond of hanoi. Value for money wise you cannot fault this gem of a hotel.

We only stayed for one night, the hotel is comfortable enough although it is looking a little tired. There was no hot water in the evening or early morning although in Hanoi, this is not a disaster! Good selection for breakfast. Would probably spend a little more and stay somewhere a little newer next time.

Everything was perfect, just a lot of stairs. I think they had 7 floors, we were on the 4th. Not a huge problem just had to make sure we had everything when leaving so we didnt have to go back and forth. Bed was decent. Clean room. Lovely helpful staff. Restuarant at bottom level.

The staff are accomodating and location is just 2blocks from the night market. The only disadvantage is they don’t have an elevator. Rooms are big but the bathroom are small. Free coffee and tea in the lobby.

It’s clean with free coffee. Worth spending a bit more for their nicer rooms as it makes a big difference to your stay. Some of their rooms are stunning and others simply do the job of a short stay in Hanoi.

The hotel staff stole my passport. I left my passport in my room, and went out for breakfast. Forgot to lock the door, and came back and noticed my passport was missing. Searched every inch of the hotel room, including the bathroom and underneath the bed, and couldnt find it. I argued with front desk for a bit, threatened to call the police, and finally, front desk said they would ask housekeeping to check my room again. They mysteriously found my passport in a crack underneath my bed. It would have been literally impossible for my passport to have fallen in that space unless someone intentionally put it there. It would literally defy the laws of physics.

I bought cheapest room and it was in basement. Wasnt fresh. No air circulation. Was stuffy. Besides that hotel seems nice but i was stuck in basement.

I stayed here for a week- the staff were so friendly!! My room was cleaned every day although it didn’t need to be. Room had only two small windows but it was totally ok and didn’t feel stuffy. Everything felt super clean. Great location and not loud (atleast not my room) but still in old quarter! I felt safe and as if they had my best interest at heart!
