What I really dont like about this property is that water is shutoff almost every day. Multiple times you will run out of water. It is so inconvenient when you dont have water while taking shower or using bath room.

Excellent, helpful staff. Having breakfast there was very useful, and good breakfasts. Room cleanliness was OK, not perfect.

This is a delightful hotel. Small, quiet, wonderful location, excellent service, friendly people.

Location Is excellent, I feel safe in the area I actually walk around late at night totally safe, I know the country and hotels have been through difficult times so I will get them the benefit, owners are super nice and hard workers but the hotel need to be taken care off , breakfast it was not that good, but again I feel they are really trying to get back on their feet so if you feel you wanna support that is the way you should be thinking about it, they don’t have a lot to offer but they are really trying they actually turn the AC off every time I walk out because they say the power is extremely expensive in Nicaragua so I was patient And turn back on when I got to the hotel late at night instead of been wasting energy.so support and feel happy

For the price location and service are great. A hostel more than a hotel kind of. Service perfect, I used the kitchen to reheat some pizza and chicharrones really early in the morning, quite area, small hotel but very comfortable.

Location is very good (very near from the metro central). Staffs are very friendly. Hopefully it could have higher pressure of hot water of the shower.

This was a good deal, very close to Metro Centro and a decent place. The people on staff where the best. I would recommend and I will use again.

Nice people and excellent service. If this hotel is near where you want to be it’s a great place. If not the traffic in Managua makes it difficult to cross town easily. I would stay at the Aloha again

I stayed at Aloha Hotel for a total of 7 days in Oct./Nov, 2017. My first consideration when looking for a hotel in this area was to be close to Metrocentro and the UCA bus station. Well, I didnt use the bus station even once, but Metrocentro became my daily evening hangout while I was in Managua, due to a vibrant presence of people at all times, and a diversity of shopping and restaurants. My week at Aloha ended up being much more than just a room to sleep. As it is a small hotel, I received personalized attention, being asked every morning how I wanted my omelette prepared, if I had slept well, if there was something that the hotel could do to make my stay more pleasant, etc. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff. Without exception, all the ladies who work there were VERY polite, hard working, and performed their duties with pride. Even though the hotel is close to main streets, its very quiet, being in a dead-end residential street. Every morning, I just had to walk one block to the Consulate of Costa Rica, and take one of the many inexpensive taxis waiting for passengers, to go where I wanted to. I recommend Aloha Hotel as a good budget option in Central Managua.

I had such a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good! Easily accessible to Metro Centro Mall.

Hotel located across from a 20 story building under construction, lots of dust and construction traffic. They advertise "free parking" and they do not have any parking area. You will park on the street, right by a 20 story building under construction.
By the entrance the hotel has a pond with dead fish, belly up.
My room had ants walking on the wall, cracked walls, stained, and bathroom with cockroaches.

I believe the hotel needs to pay attention to general room maintenance since it somehow did not look as good as my last time there.

I stayed at the hotel aloha a few years ago, and loved it...so decided to book there again on a recent trip to managua. Unfortunately, the property had really changed for the worse. My room was dirty and needed a lot of maintenance -- all the upholstered furniture, wall paint and bedding was dingy/stained. I found an earwig bug in the bed. The toilet leaked a lot everytime it was flushed, the TV didn't work, and the Internet connection dropped every few minutes. When I asked the hotel staff for help, they were watching movies in the lobby, and seemed annoyed to have to get up to help me. This is an affordable hotel, in a great area -- but there are other hotels for the same price that are much cleaner and have better service. I won't be staying at hotel aloha again.

For the money, this is a really good hotel in Managua. I am always looking for good places to stay while here. This trip I visited 3 different hotels. This will be my "back-up" hotel if my first choice is not available. The first morning we didn't have hot water, but after we notified the front desk, it was fine. The staff was friendly and courteous. The two things that I did not like about the hotel were 1) the pillows were flat and weak and 2) the breakfast was not that great.

There is currently construction across the street from the hotel. Taxis don't come near there, in order to get transportation you have to walk three blocks, in the street where cars almost run over you. At 4 in the morning the staff begin unlocking the gate they make so much noise, they are yelling at each other as your are trying to sleep., They have a sign that breakfast is served from 5-10 AM, it was 6 AM and it was not ready yet. The shower tiles need replacing. It was infested with mosquitos and I had tom buy Raid, sprayed the mosquitos and the bed.

THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME, WE WHERE HERE LESS THAN 2 YEARS AGO. THIS TIME IT WAS MORE NOTICIBLE THE LACK OF PROPER MAINTENANCE, THEY HAD TROUBLE TO OPEN ROOM DOOR UNTIL I HELPED, BATHROOM HAD A STRONG SMELL FROM THE DRAINS, SEWER LIKE, STEINS IN THE SHOWER AND AROUND FIXTURES, SHOWER DOORS COMING OFF THE RAILS WHEN MOVED, TOWELS IN BAD SHAPE, TORN AND WITH STAINS, THE SAME WITH BED COVERS, PILLOWS..BED NOT ATTACHED TO HEADBOARD WILL CONSTINUOSLY SLIDE OFF THE WALL.. THE SAFE WAS "HANGING" ON THE WALL, NOT ATTACHED, COMBINATION DIDN'T WORK.. WE SPENT MOST OF THE TIME OUT VISITING WITH A SICK RELATIVE, IN GENERAL, ROOM SERVICE WAS POOR, EXCEPT FOR THE GUARDS/BELL BOYS, EXCELENT SERVICE, VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE.(THEY WERE PROPERLY TIPPED)

The hotel was just across the street and around the corner from massive building projects, which started making noise at around 7am. There were few pavements to walk safely to the local mall. The hotel is in need of a major overhaul. Most things in our room were broken or slightly dysfunctional. Shower head needs replacement. Floor of shower very grubby. Nowhere to keep toiletries in the bathroom as it was so small. TV channel changer didn't work, air conditioner very noisy. No window for natural light. Only window opened on to a courtyard. No tea/coffee making service in the room, no hair dryer. Curtains didn't cover the courtyard window so people passing in the corridor could see straight into our room.

This was the third time my husband and I stay at this hotel. Its nice, cheap and conveniently located next to the bus station at the market and the Metrocentro Mall. The hotel staff is nice and informative upon arrival. The rooms are always clean and comfy. This last trip we were however given a room right by the reception desk and was pretty noisy since its so close to the entrance of the hotel and there was construction going on. I did ask the reception if they could relocate my husband and I to any of the rooms in the back since we've stayed there before without a problem and they without a problem moved us a to a quitter room.

Other than the half hour we spent trying to find it, everything about this hotel was great. We especially enjoyed the breakfast. They need to update their directions, since they say it is 3 blocks north of McDonalds when in reality it is three blocks south. Other than that, it was fine.
