What to say. If you are looking for a clean, spacious and affordable room in New Delhi it’s a great option.

Very accommodating and excellent customer service support. Would recommend adding a pressing iron and microwave in the rooms to allow better comfort to occupying guests. Thank you.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and would go out of their way to help us with anything we asked. Breakfast was fine and is located on their roof terrace. Our major problem with the room was there was no windows in the room which was very disorienting after a long flight! The air-conditioning wasn't great and it was very noisy on our floor throughout the night.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff were really helpful and sweet giving us advice on how to get places and even packed us a breakfast to go as we were leaving early on our last day and we hadn't asked for it. No extra charges at check out, everything was totally in order. Clean rooms, I had booked the basic room but it was a great size. Clean bathroom, not much hot water but didn't need it as was fairly hot. Air con and ceiling fan worked a treat even though the air con was quite old and noisy. Free bottled water given every day and tea and coffee supplies replenished too. Pretty quiet for a Delhi hotel, bed was really comfy and Metro was 5/10 min walk. The rooftop restaurant was really lovely and food was very good. Free breakfast was varied and great coffee. Felt very safe there and would recommend it highly. I had only ever stayed in Paharganj on my visits to Delhi before but would much rather stay in this area ( maybe it's because I'm older now...who knows!) It is quieter and cleaner (slightly!). Would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again the next time I visit Delhi.Thank you Suncourt Hotel Yatri.

Nice and friendly staf and guards. Very polite. Beds were good. The breakfast room was not so attractive. But they are in process building a restaurant on the deck.
The wifi code had to be changed every 24 hours.Little bit irritating.
Near to shopping area.

I chose this hotel after recommendations to stay in Karol Bagh. However, we found that there wasn't really much in the area and it was extremely difficult to get anywhere on foot. The hotel is located very close to the Metro though, making it quite accessible (day pass on the metro ~100 rupees).
Breakfast was very simple with not much choice.
Whilst we were there, the hotel was undergoing renovations which meant that the corridors were sometimes covered in sheets/general decorating stuff. One time, the smell (from refurbishment) in the corridor was so strong that we had to rush into our room in order to breathe. However, I realise that this was a temporary situation and imagine the hotel will look very nice when complete.
The wifi code renewed each day, meaning you had to keep going to reception to ask for codes (one for each device). Some of the codes didn't work, so I gave up rather than repeatedly going down to reception.
Room was nice, comfortable and nicely decorated. The fridge was a bit dingy and the door to the bathroom squeaked incredibly loud every time it was opened.
Ordered room service a few times, mainly because it was such a hassle to find anywhere nearby to eat. Food was great and reasonably priced. Sofa, chairs and table in the room.
Did a tour to the Taj Mahal via the hotel - probably overcharged and the tour guide took us to shops, obviously on commission (felt like we were being taken for mugs the entire time).

The people are nice, for the most part, but the restaurant isn't very good, nor is it clean, and they are obviously doing repairs on the walls because there was newspaper all over it. The room was nice, and very welcoming, but that was about all that the hotel had going for it.

Lots of construction activity was underway. Restaurant is pathetic

Prior to leaving Canada ,I had emailed the hotel to confirm our reservation and late arrival. When we arrived though, we were told that because we had not responded to their emails while on our 14 hr flight, our rooms were gone. They found us a room for 3 people in a sister hotel but they could only have us for one night not 3 as booked. In the morning though, we could stay there or return to hotel #1 which we opted for because we could have 2 rooms. That evening, when we went to hotel #1, our luggage was still at hotel #2 and indeed we were not staying there but going to hotel #3. It was older, noisier and less clean than the other two. Then there was an issue with the rate because hotel #2 charged us more than our confirmed rate but that did eventually get resolved. Even our confirmed rate upon arrival was different then when I booked. We could not call hotels.com toll free line as the hotel could only handle calls within India. We are experiencing rate differences as well as we move in our travels and it is frustrating that we cannot be in contact. We are even using the correct conversion rate as posted on your website. I had stayed at Suncourt Yatri a decade ago and was satisfied then but I would not stay there again.

Attentive and friendly staff. The food was good. Overall a very good and reasonably priced stay.

We had an early morning flight but the hotel staff let us use a room to freshen up. The staff were really helpful and keen to advise. We also hired a taxi via the hotel which was very reasonable and the driver really went out of his way to give us a pleasant experience.

Unfortunately, our experience wasnt good at all. To start with, the pictures were deceitful and the room was dirty and had lots of humidity with an unpleasant permanent smell. Also even though the bathroom was in good shape, the shower had almost no water pressure and had to use bucket to shower.
As of the services, the wifi was on and off all the time and we had to ask the front desk to give you the password and username every day. Breakfast is all Indian food and was on a dark basement, therefore we had to get breakfast outside everyday.
Lastly, please do not use their tour services. Unfortunately, we did not have time to plan the trip, therefore we used their taxis and tour services. The drivers do not speak any english therefore wouldnt take you to where you wanted to. It s also pricey for Indians standards, and they charge you extras for absolutely everything.
I understand it is budget hotel, however it was a big turn off to our getaway weekend.

Although the hotel was close to the metro station, we would always prefer to take the cycle rickshaw to the karol barg station. Staff was very good and always helpful for any request. Room was very comfortable for a budget hotel.
Only negative point i would give is that the hotel gives a very aged look.

Good location, metro station 5 mins walk, very dated , crying out for refurbishment, breakfast room dreary and gloomy,( in the basement ) no ventilation, very stuffy in the summer ( visited in Apr/May).Helpful staff.Airport transfers provided at Rs. 650 per transfer.A/C noisy. We had 2 rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor. single room smelt and was damp. After complaint room was changed.Asked for non-smokimg rooms.Rooms smelt of nicotine. rooms had ash trays ,so obviously not a non-smoking room.Staff were very helpful which mitigated for shotcomings!

Our stay at Yatri was very enjoyable! The first room, 202, we were in was small but they upgraded us to a larger room, 406 (any X06 room should be good). The hotel was clean, the staff was very helpful whenever we had any questions, and the breakfast buffet was good for a free buffet. The neighborhood was fine for Dehli: Karol Bagh market was in easy walking distance, as well as many decent restaurants. Keep in mind a "nice" hotel in India has a little looser interpretation than in the US, but this hotel was great and I'd have no problem staying there again.

If you are looking for a reason not to stay here, I will give you one: too noisy and busy. But that's is Delhi, my friend. If this anoys you, dont bother coming here at all. About the good and positive things about the hotel: very close from Karol Bagh and Rajendra Metro Stations. And the staff is the best you will ever find: friendly, efficient, kind, helpful. I had some personal issues and they helped me a lot, specially Ramesh, who stays at the reception at night. Since we had a misscomunication problem regarding the pickup service, he upgrade me to a better room. He even offered to prepair a meal to my pregnant wife, who was feeling sick. These things made the difference

Good breakfast and comfortable room. They arranged for airport pickup, which was really great at two am! The internet worked and their prices are reasonable.

Very Disappointing Experience for a hotel rated by Expedia as 3.5 out of 5 and by TripAdvisor as Good - 85% (4.5 stars from 288 reviews) !!!. To my family from the personal experience they had (from 17th to 21st Feb, 2015 ) it seems like these ratings are purchased !!! No Way True!!!As advertised the Triple Room is supposed to have 1 double bed and 1 single bed, the single bed is not a single bed its a sofa-bed, in a very small room. After complaining to the Director of - Marketing & Operations my wife and daughters were moved to a larger room. Where the phones and the WIFI would not work.At around 3.30 to 4.00 am on three nights there was very loud noise coming from the hallway outside their room like as if people were fighting and throwing pots and pans in the hallway. Each time my wife or daughters had to get up and tell the hotel staff to stop making the loud noise and to stop shouting at each other, then the noise would go down a little. I had to phone twice from Canada and complain to the Director of - Marketing & Operations and about the room and the Very Loud shouting and loud noise made by the hotel staff moving pots and pans etc. at 3.30 to 4.00am every morning. He said that he would take care of that, he changed the room but the Single Bed was still a lousy Sofa Bed. The loud noise went down just for one day. The family could not take it any more and finally change hotels. They wished they had changed hotels after the first disturbing night.

The hotel was very friendly and helpful. We were unfortunately scammed at the airport by a corrupt taxi and travel service and had to miss our hotel booking at the Sun Court. We then explained the situation and on returning to Delhi, they offered us one free night, as well as a complementary dinner, all in good will to apologies for our experience, even though they didn't owe us anything!
3.7
Reached the hotel late in the night. Received the room promptly. However it was on the ground floor, which was quite noisy. Room and restrooms were decent. Breakfast was extremely basic with very little choice. I'm a vegetarian so there wasn't nothing much for me to eat.
3.7
This hotel had extremes, just like India itself.
Good service offered, most times delivered, sometimes not.
Some of the online photographs flattered to deceive but overall good value for money and very comfortable.
The terrace is good but the breakfast room is really just tables in a conference facility.
Channa Market/Karol Bagh is very noisy and dirty but very much part of the local culture and worth experiencing; if you are fastidious or want the quiet life, go somewhere else.
We would definitely recommend the Suncourt Yatri on that basis.
