Amazing view absolutely must… I don’t recommend having personal space if you don’t open the door when hotel service knock they will unlock the door rather u you in restroom, tub or pool on balcony it’s kind of hard to have privacy the drinks in refrigerator for $21 US for a shot. I don’t recommend drinking unless you have the money to splurge. Birthday floating breakfast was $150 for (2) just make sure you have the money to spend lol overall a 8 I would go back!!!

The overall property was nice! The food in walkable distance was a little bland, the best restaurants were Mood Beach and Pizza Mare. We booked a luxury suite with a beach view, it was gorgeous! They do however, have very loud beach parties Wednesday-Sunday til about 2 am. You would think for the price we paid for a luxury suite we would be bothered with the noise. Overall, great place and the beach was beautiful.

Hotel itself is nice but at least 5/7 days were loud as there are beach parties with thumping music that can be heard until 2am throughout the resort. If you are looking for something more quiet this strip of hotels is not for you. Food was limited at the Cabana restaurant. We were ignored every time we waited to get service, im not sure if it’s a culture difference or what, but just a Hi, I’ll be with you shortly would have been appreciated. We waited at the beach bar with 2 other guests for over 5 minutes to just be acknowledged. Staff at the restaurant during lunch/ bites hours do not go around checking on anyone, they also do not collect garbage from guests who have left after 30 minutes so we continued to pickup garbage that was flying away. The staff were not busy, they were just talking to each other and this was an issue throughout our visit. The Cabana restaurant itself will be the reason we wouldn’t return to this resort. One day they confirmed our breakfast was included after checking with the hotel and then it was not included once we were tabbing out, so we had to pay $25 per person for a somewhat limited breakfast menu we wouldn’t have chose otherwise.
Booking transportation- scheduled transportation ahead of time w/ the hotel for an excursion and they never showed which caused us to nearly miss our trip which was no refunds! Asked hotel to call someone else a few times or see where the driver was, they kept saying 10 min, we arrived 40 min later than scheduled

Loved this property, the rooms were great and the grounds were so pretty. There were a lot of restaurants to choose from in walking distance. I highly recommend this resort

The resort has a great location near Mambo Beach, but it's pretty worn out and it does'nt match the price in any way. The insulation is non excisting, so expect a lot of noise from the nearby road, your neighbours television and the daily beach parties. The cleaning was absolutely terrible. We got dirty towels with brown stains on them in more than one occation. The room was not cleaned properly and the bathroom had a strange smell of urine. We had our sheets changed because of red stains and were told to deliver a proof by the reception. The cigarette packs and the Coca Cola cans in front of our terrace have probably been there for years.

I never had such a bad experience in a hotel which has everything to make anyone’s stay unforgettable. First it was an issue with the room which was solved after I paid to upgrade to the suites (if you can’t afford the suites don’t waste your time going there and they are $1,000 a night). But the cherry on the cake is my AirPods being stolen from my bag. I checked on “find my” and realize that it’s in a neighborhood where I’ve never stepped foot my whole stay (I actually never left the resort for 5 days everything is walking distance from it). After 2 days the thief is finally caught but what bothers me is the hotel wanted to ship them to me (which I obviously declined for hygiene reasons). Then I asked for them to at least reimburse me part of my stay but instead they want to reimburse me the cost of the AirPods. It shows me that they do not realize how BAD it is that clients get stuff stolen out of their bags in their rooms during their stays. Other than that Curaçao is a beautiful Island and the food was amazing. Sucks that such low professionalism and code of conduct ruined our stay.

Birds were loud but overall stay was amazing. Staff was friendly. Many restaurants in a walkable distance.

The property was beautiful but services was subpar particularly for the price which was $800 per night for a Luxury Suite.
Day 1
Our transfer pick did not provide any help with our bags
Later that same night our a/c stop working
Then one of the Porter and guests came to our room trying to get in ; we were already in bed which created total panic and we felt out safety and security were compromised.
Day 2
Our floating breakfast was 15mins late but once we eventually got it ; it was ok.
Later that day we got to the VIP beach loungers and it was not available even though it was supposed to be part of service that came with the luxury suite . We finally received 2 bed and waited for another 20mins for them to bring an umbrella to shelter us from the sun
But even more disappointed and irritating was later that night we waited for 3 hour for food.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. While your property is beautiful I was not able to enjoy my visit because of these experiences.
I would not recommend this property because the service needs to be improved.

I actually enjoyed my stay at kontiki . My only complaints was that pool water looked a bit dirty like from body oils etc . I wish the staff was helpful trying to get beach towels was a task

Beautitul property and beach. I loved the multiple restaurants, boutiques and excursion offices all walking distance.
However, there was no room service which was a huge disappointment.

HIDDEN CAMERAS IN ROOM! We found a hidden camera in the ceiling fan over our bed!! We have video for proof. We notified managment and they "acted" like they didn't know.
Pros: the resort is clean the rooms are large the balcony is private and so is your plunge pool, you are close to mambo beach which has stores and restaurants, close to mood beach, Cabana Beach and wet and wild, reserved beach chairs and free water, no beach peddlers
Cons: no doorbell, no do not disturb sign, no ice machine, the restaurants make you pay for water, there are no convenience stores or grocery stores nearby, the beach closes, no ironing board or ice machine, you have to call everytime you need it

It was great. A very close distance to many restaurants, beaches, the downtown area, etc. the only con is that the room has dark lighting and I can’t see in the dark

The staff at the property was very attentive and helpful. Front desk staff was very friendly and suggested many local places to eat.
8.0 / 10.0
Overall okay, there's plenty of pools/huts at the beach for guests, a shuttle goes to the grocery at 9 and 10 each morning, it's easy to get a taxi using 24/7 red cabs app. Associated restaurants are expensive and service is slow. Parties on the beach at night which is good if you're looking for that, but if not you'll want noise cancelling headphones- we were toward the entrance and could hear the music and fireworks past midnight (it may have been just due to the football games going on, not sure).

We had a luxury suite which was very nice. The downside was that it was right in front of the beach club so at night the music was extremely loud until about 1am. They broke down the stage equipment at 4:30am and it was extremely loud with them throwing the gates on a truck to load. VIP cabanas were ok, no fruit was ever brought out to us. The fridge was super small, couldn't store our drinks in it at all. The ambience of the room was awesome, wish there were more amenities included but overall it was nice. Also wish they accepted cash.

Truly enjoy the mutiple pool areas. Quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. The guest check in was smooth and efficient with the associates being nice and friendly. The price of the rooms were reasonable. Also the guest first come first serve before 11am at the cabanas were perfect to set up shop for reading and relaxing.

Only thing I appreciated were the very few workers we came in contact with - very friendly. I will try to summarize the negative .. They did not have wash clothes on premises, the bathroom smelled like a porter potty, had to request iron and THEN it burned my clothes instantly, the hand soap dispenser did not work, the towels were small, whoever cleaned the room CLOSED our toiletries bag when we know we had them open, the sheets were not changed, just remade (I know because my lash was still on the sheet), THE BED DOES NOT HAVE A FITTED SHEET, just the flat piece and a small comforter, security knocked on our door for “noise” while it was party on beach and sercurity acknowledged no loud noises coming from room so people are ridiculous.
- ONLY CARD. no cash in this area and we took out cash beecause we dont

I loved the feel of entering into the huge brown doors of Kontiki! It was so safe and you literally felt like you were residing in a tropical jungle or rainforest.
The rooms were beautiful, cleaned everyday, safe box and mini fridge in room, had a bath tub and shower (only one out of three accommodations I found with a bath tub) huge sink, very comfortable bed, gorgeous wrap around porch, five salt water pools, close to a LOT of walkable entertainment, restaurant and three or more beaches!
I initially had some reservations after I saw some reviews but then I asked specifically about the resort myself and received feedback that convinced me to book the Tropical Superior Room and I’m SO GLAD I did! The location was perfect for me! I had a second floor room btw. If you’re on the fence like I was.. BOOK IT!

After booking this property I was reached out twice by staff members inquiring whether or not I wanted any additional amenities. In both conversations I requested private transportation to and from the airport, to have a welcome bottle of champagne and also a fruit basket. This was my spouse’s first time out of the country, so I wanted every detail to be special. After arriving to the airport to my surprise there was no driver. This entail cost me $50 to take a cab to the hotel. When I reached out to the hotel they told me the driver would be leaving now, after waiting for 30 mins. To my expectations, if you ask for my flight information you’re more than able to track the flights arrival; so there should be no reason as to why I should be waiting. When I arrived to my room there was no champagne or fruit basket waiting. I was told they could put it in the room the following day, which I refused. Once again I reached out to the staff member who said she would notify the manager. I have yet to hear from any manager. For the following day I requested to have the room decorated, which was not even done during the time frame that I asked. To my surprise the champagne and fruit basket were there, along with the decorations. For an even bigger surprise, those items were also on my bill during checkout even though I said I did not want them! I thought both items were a courtesy gift from the hotel. I paid for the fruit basket in the end, but returned the unopened champagne.

The resort is stunning. We reserved a beach front suite and it was conveniently located right next to the food court, shops, the gym and a few steps from the beach. There wasn’t much to actually do on the resort itself. At minimum, they could let guests rent snorkel equipment. Thankfully we rented a car and had excursions booked. Since we got the luxury suite, we were able to reserve a vip cabana but the vip area was dry. The non-vip area across cabana beach played music and that is where a lot of guest were. We were very baffled as to why the vip area didn’t have music. They market free fruit here at the cabanas but we didn’t receive our fruit until being there for nearly two hours and it wasn’t the freshest fruit. I also feel like the resort should offer some type of information sheet for guest upon arrival that includes a map of the resort, WiFi login and password and an list of amenities and things to do on the resort. We had to keep messaging them on WhatsApp to find out about various things. The mini bar is censored so if you touch anything whether you consume it or not you will get charged. This is an odd function. Cleaning staff and front desk staff walked up to our room multiple times unannounced and twice we were undressed. Our tub was visibly dirty upon arrival and we had to call housekeeping twice to clean it properly. Eat at the food court. The resort food prices are a bit ridiculous. Very touristy area but very nice nonetheless.
