So kind and hospitable! We appreciated our stay after a long day of travel.

Individual/unique style.
A room with a balcony/sea view would definitely be worth paying extra for but we had a room with balcony overlooking the entrance which was also nice.
More information relating to local activities for families would have been helpful.

Luca at the front desk was great and provided a simple check in experience as well as a safe spot for our bikes. The room was immaculate with all of the comforts of home. The bathroom was clean and sizeable. Breakfast the following morning was wonderful - out on the veranda, fresh baked goods, meats, cheeses and all the trimmings. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the marina area of town which makes for great walks anytime of day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Ariston and recommend it highly.

Extremely dated hotel. Needs updating immediately. My room was on the bottom floor with no balcony and just felt claustrophobic. Security was a massive issue for me - you give the receptionist your key which hangs off a hook in which anyone can grab and get into your room without effort!

Excellent breakfast, especially the fried eggs. Good location but also quiet, very close to the beach too.
The staff were second to none, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and transport around it.
One of the very few places I would go back to happily.
Room was a fair size and very clean. It overlooked the car park, but this is really a very minor complaint, the town is a great place to be so we didn't spend much time looking out of the window anyway.

Very nice stay! Pleasant English speaking staff. Easy walk from train station. Easy walk to port and lighthouses. (Some gorgeous boats down there!) Enjoyable area. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Balcony had a retractable awning. Nice lobby to relax in. Highly recommend Hotel Ariston!

I was working in Imperia for 2 days and I required a comfortable Hotel which was quiet yet close to the Port/Marina. This hotel ticked all the boxes, the room was comfortable and quiet, yes the toilet could have been a little bigger and the air con was not working but otherwise this hotel is ideal. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was very good.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Ariston. The best thing about this hotel is the friendliness of the staff. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Luca and Marco very much for their hospitality and great customer service. They are extremely helpful and cater for your every need. The hotel is immaculately clean, well-run, and very comfortable. The location is very convenient as the beach is only a 5 minute walk. As our stay was in August, breakfast was served outside on the veranda over-looking the port of Imperia. There was a good selection of breakfast choices. This included fresh bread-rolls, home-made cakes every morning. There was a great selection - ham, cheese, cereal, toast, yogurt, fresh juice, tea, coffee etc. We strongly recommend staying at Hotel Ariston if you get the chance of visiting Imperia or the surrounding area!

As part of a quick overnight stop it was perfect - a small 70's style family-run hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly. It was very clean and tidy (the bathroom seemed to have been renovated quite recently). We were given a room with sea view which probably added to the pleasant stay. We chose this hotel because it had parking - and that was very fortunate.

I walked from the train to the hotel and Luca greeted me from behind the desk. He was wonderful and speaks English, my native tongue extremely well. The hotel was quaint, extremely clean and comfortable. Luca carried my bags to my room for me, opened the door the wth the key for me and walked me into my room making sure everything was satisfactory. My room was wonderful with an outside balcony that over looked the old part of the village and the marina. From the Luca, to his mother, his aunt, and his grandparents, I felt like I was at home. They helped me around the city and neighboring communities, informing me where to go and where to stay away from. For my convience, he emailed me the train and bus schedule to my phone, in case i needed it. He directed us to the most amazing restaurant and tried to solve problems we had, even when he was not involved. Just amazing people! I could not ask for better service or people to stay at their charming hotel. My friends who were staying at differnent hotels, wanted to move over to the Hotel Ariston because they were so impressed with the hotel, location and mostly, the amazing staff and owners.Wonderful breakfast buffet, great view, outstanding location! The ONLY place I would stay in Imperia!!A word to the wise, remember you are in Italy, enjoy the cultural experience. Expect a bidet, lower bed, etc. Have a cappuccino, embrace the people and you will have an amazing time!
