Amazing! 100% charm with 110% comfort. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, bathroom with a real bath, and super-comfy-bed with fully controllable HVAC. Old photos throughout make wandering around so enjoyable. Walk to train and restaurants pretty easy (at least 1 way LOL!).

Historical British style ackommodation, not newly renovated but with a lot af charm, great mountain views. Personnel is very attentive and customer oriented

We had a very nice stay here. We had breakfast on our first morning and it took a long time for our food to arrive.

Overall ok not 4.5 stars
A bit run down, furniture in the rooms don’t match the decor. Bathrooms very old fashioned and of need of repair.
Air conditioner was very noisy so couldn’t have it on overnight.

Relaxing hotel with excellent service and very comfortable rooms. Good dining (book your breakfast when you book your room for a better price). Sociable bar and convenient car park. Lots of stairs internally so ask for a room on reception level if you have dodgy knees!

Lovely property overviewing the blue mountains. Only stayed for one night on a short weekend away but were met late at night by friendly staff and welcomed to a warm room with great views.

This propert is in need of a referb. It was dirty, check in was akin to a Faulty Towers episode, was not at all welcoming or worth the cost. Very disappointing

We stayed for two nights and we loved it. We had an amazing view of the Blue Mountains from our room. We loved the historic building and that the room had been modernised without taking away from the heritage of the hotel. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely views! Cozy bar and fireplace. Christmas in July is a nice idea

The perfect place to experience a true mountain resort holiday. Impeccable service from the staff, the cozy woodflame fireplaces were a cozy way to spend time with a book. The restaurant may have city prices but of amazing quality and breathtaking views when the weather is clear.

Beautiful location with a warm welcoming feel. The Christmas in July theme was a nice touch. Our room was spacious, clean, and very well presented.
Check-in was fine but service overall was poor. We waited 2-hours for breakfast before we had to cancel our order due to the delay. We were also unable to order room service the evening of our stay due to Yule. This celebration was not communicated with us as part of booking or check-in as we would have made a reservation. We had a 1YO with us so having the leave the hotel once we found out the restaurant and room service was unavailable was inconvenient.
All staff were friendly but overall service standard in the restaurant was a missed opportunity.

Attentive hotel reception. They even stayed back a little past their normal closing time and waited for me to check in.

My bed sheets were not changed after the previous guest left, and Pam found a lot of hairs that I asked them to change (Sebastian) and he changed them. The staff are not friendly at all. My guests and I experienced 2 very bad nights in that hotel
I do not suggest anyone to go there

What a lovely traditional hotel decorated in a classic style that takes you back in time. You are welcomed, not only by lovely open fires, but also by the reception and bar staff! Very friendly and helpful. Our room had fabulous views of the mountains and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrises. 5 mins walk to the main street with a choice of restaurants and a few mins drive to the attractions and trails.

Lovely location. Very expensive for what it is. Service received from reception staff was poor.

This hotel is out of a time warp. The pictures gave us a high expectation for our stay, and we were let down by how dated and tired the hotel is. The staff were kind but not very helpful with area recommendations. All could use a big tuning up.

Over priced drinks at bar
Pool table damaged
Bed uncomfortable
Pillows unsuitable for sleeping

My room is great in space, but not so great in noise reduction. I can hear noises through out the night. While the hotel has so many empty rooms, the room allocated to me and my guest can be better. This is a good way to bring me back to this hotel.

Absolutely amazing stay. Staff was professional, very friendly, and just went out of the way to make it a most comfortable time. Loved the Friday night piano player in the lobby. The mountain view room was the best!

Staff is great. Room clean and bed comfy. The property is run down. Main corridors are musty. It is up a steep hill from the cbd making it not highly walkable.
