This hotel is fine. It's not luxurious, nor should one expect that at the price point offered. The location is great, as one can walk to the beach or Jetty Park in a couple of minutes.

We booked this hotel for a weekend getaway. We were excited about swimming in the pool. But upon arrival the pool looked cloudy and had a tun of stuff in the bottom and no water movement. With us working in the pool business we tested it and the chemicals were not is a safe range. For the price and if I would have known the pool would be in this condition I would have booked elsewhere. The room was clean. The tub needs some grab bars and anti slip in the tub. The shower head leaked and didn't work well. If you allow pets you need to make sure that pets are kept quiet. We were woken up a few times by a dog barking down the hall. I mostly likely will book a different hotel in this area next time I visit.

The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. place was very clean even tho she is an older place, i felt comfortable...little knocks and fan whirls but thats normal for a GREAT BEACH PLACE. I will go back and highly recommend this spot to my friends who need a quick beach get away!!!! Thank you for being so welcoming and easy!!

We stayed here for a week. Staff are awesome and super friendly. Room was very clean. The rooms are old and some things need repair. We would definitely stay again. Hopefully they make some repairs to the rooms.

We stay at Royal Inn at least once per year. It’s pet friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The close location to the jetty/beach and surrounding restaurants is very convenient. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and the pool is clean. The only issue we had was the hotel’s phone lines were down so we weren’t able to contact them prior to checking in. Otherwise, great stay as usual.

This place might have been ok at one time, but it is dirty, moldy, and nasty now. No ocean views, run down and dangerous. The stains on the couch/bed and chairs was disgusting. No matter what don't stay here it is probably a health hazard. There are many other great places to stay that are spotless for about $30 more a night.

I booked this hotel primarily for the advertised ocean view, but there was no ocean in sight—just a parking lot and bushes. The room was dirty, the bathroom was gross, and the balcony was unusable with a rusty, broken chairs that was a safety hazard. The dresser drawers were also broken. Hoping to salvage our stay, we tried the pool, only to find it disgusting with unclean water and trash around the area. This hotel was a huge disappointment and not worth the money, yet they charge a resort fee!!! Avoid at all costs.

This little hotel is a little old but it has been renovated and is very nice.. we have come here several times and are very happy with the friendliness of the employees here. Good location, a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. If you do have a problem with your room, for us they have been very quick to fix any kind of problem you might have.

The hotels staff was amazing first and foremost! They are so sweet!!! I stayed for my birthday in the king suit ocean view, the view is pretty and the bed is so comfortable we had a great night rest. The shower got hot, everything worked and the balcony was peaceful. The area is peaceful too and so lovely it just makes you happy being there. Will definitely be a returning customer 💜

Somewhat disappointed, pictures must have been old as the furniture matched but no the same condition. Some improvements were evident, but not professional. Grout in bathroom was mildewed, not very appealing even with rest of bathroom clean.

Reception couldn’t get any of our credit cards to work, even though they were fine. Room was at the back of the building on the ground floor. It was a bit smelly and very run down. Kitchen cupboards looked disgusting. Generally in poor condition and not what we expected. The location was good. Could hear the sea from the bedroom.

Perfect location! Easy walk to the beach, jetty and restaurants. However we booked and paid for an ocean view room and definitely did not get one… maybe 5 years ago you could see the beach from the 2nd floor but not anymore (see picture). The hotel itself was pretty rough. Broken dresser, stained sheets, mold in the bathroom. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and pleasant and the pool was good. Best part about the stay was definitely the location.

This was so disappointing the sheets use hair in the bed an make up one of the bed had blood stained the bathroom was disgusting and the floor omg is not a hotel never they charge me so much and didn't give al my money never stay here please is a scary place
