When we checked in to Hollywood Beach Suites, we were surprised to find that the room looked very different from the pictures online. The floor was a gross laminate-type flooring that I did not feel comfortable walking around barefoot—thank God I brought several pairs of socks with me! We booked a Queen bed. However, the bed was obviously not a Queen, but rather a Full. My husband and I immediately wanted to check out and go to a different hotel, but that was a little difficult seeing as how there were thousands of Swifties swarming Miami to see The Eras Tour that weekend. So we stayed. We slept on top of the comforter because if there was a bed that had bedbugs, it would be this one. What most stood out (and not in a good way) was the smell. It was a mixture of mildew and a musty-smell. I understand that it’s right by the ocean (A PRO), but get a dehumidifier or something. The aforementioned comforter that we slept on felt damp to the touch. All in all, this was not a wonderful hotel. It was pretty gross and grimy. The staff was nice enough and there was a cat there (love you, Cheetah!), but if you’re not a college kid, find somewhere else to stay.

My room was very comfortably and suited me very well. The in room a/c was a little noisy, but that's understandable due to they all make noise. The beach was about 300 feet from my room. I wish I new and understood the park mobile app and parking situation prior to actual arriving. But once I knew about it and was using it, it was very simple to keep it up to date. The room was about 250 feet from the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. The Boardwalk was amazing with all sorts of eat and drinking establishments and entertainment along the way. I would most definitely stay at Hollywood Beach Suites and Hotel again, if I am in the area. All staff that I encounted were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.

THIS PLACE... I really expected the worse for the price. From the time I arrived, the staff was extremely delightful. The entire property's landscaping was being updated early in the mornings and it was really such a beautiful sight. The maintenance of the building, the location. The free margarita and BANGIN TACOS!!!! I absolutely would be back this this property in a heartbeat next time I visit Hollywood beach. Thank you so much!

The room we booked looked absolutely nothing like it did in the pic. We were all crowded in one room with 5 people, and practically no privacy from one another. The bathroom was set up like showers in a locker room with toilet stalls. None of that was listed in the room I booked. We eventually got used to it, so in the end it wasn’t too bad. But we definitely wouldn’t have booked there if we knew we would have that space instead of what we thought we were getting…especially for the price we paid. Staff was however very friendly and professional. Very cramped, no privacy, disappointing to say the least. We made the best of it, but we definitely won’t be coming back.

The location was great and there was enough opportunity for this location to be wonderful if it wasn’t for items coming up missing out of our room on the only day (literally the one hour we were out of the room in the evening) that the do not disturb/clean sign fell on the ground while we were leaving. The staff was rude about it, made excuses, threatened to call the law on us for trying to get information and took hours to even try and get a follow up from the “manager” who was never on site and couldn’t be bothered because they didn’t speak English well enough and someone had to translate. Overall do not recommend.

I have stayed there twice before so I know the layout and rooms. We stayed for my wife's birthday because it was close to the beach and the boardwalk. We began at check-in when the attendant, after specifying that we wanted the $100 hold on a different card, she put the hold on the original card and the other card, limiting the use of the $100, from the original card. The beds are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are small but adequate, and you need a PHD to operate the remote controls for the TV, but we figured it out. The room exterior door had to be closed hard to be locked, probably deterioration from being near the water. In this particular instance, it rained a lot one night and somehow the floor was wet inside the bedroom near the wall behind the night tables and all the clothes we left on the floor that night were wet. Parking is a headache and your best bet is to park in the liquor store across from the property, The attendant charges 25 on weekdays and 30 on weekends, per day, with in-and-out privileges. It is hard to get anyone on the phone, they rarely ever answer. I was able to get the info I needed from emailing them. AC was cold, an absolute must for the South Florida heat. I would stay there again.

Hotel is fine. AC Unit too old. I was hot at night while sleeping. Toilet took hours to fill up again. So I wasn’t able to flush twice when I used it. I called ahead of time several times to ask if a handicapped parking spot will be granted, No one answered.

We had a courtyard room. The location is perfect for the beach & boardwalk. Parking fee is through the city. The resident 🐈 was a wonderful surprise in the lobby. Had an issue with cable but they came & fixed it right away. Wish there would've been a couple cups in the room & info where to get ice. Bed was too soft for us. Very clean. We'd definitely stay there again.
