Super close to old port and numerous sites. 15 minute walk from train station. Room was ok with basic furnishings, but super uncomfortable bed and window coverings were falling off, so wasn't very private nor dark at night.
1.0
Very bad condition of the room. The sink was clogged, the closet doors were broken and could not open, there were broken tiles on the floor and many of the closets in the kitchen could not open or close. The view was just out to another building and the windows were so dirty.
The staff were very sweet and helpful.

Appreciated being let in one hour early

We weren't able to take shower as the bath tub drain was stuck. Didn't get time to report the issue as it was late, we had to wake up early the day after. The hotel is in bad conditions.

Excellent location close to vieux port with lots of dining options in the area. It is very difficult to communicate in English with hotel staff. Breakfast was very basic and some times you need to ask for some items to be topped up (if they have them) Towels and room not automatically changed and cleaned, and is done upon request only at a cost
4.0
Fine accomodation for a much more reasonable price than the ones on the waterline just one block away.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, but the hotel is very dated and not really a value for the cost. For 25 euros more, I had a 4-star hotel - I moved here when I extended my stay, and my original hotel was booked. It was clean, except the shower was full of black mold. The staff were very nice.

The man at the reception was super helpful and friendly. The hotel needs maintenance but clean and comfortable. Great location and close to everything.

The hotel is ideally situated, but certainly has seen better times. The room had vitually no daylight (despite large windows). It was very loud on weekdays. Staff is helpful and mostly friendly.

It was quite disappointing to arrive and be given a studio with a weird smell as it was closed and not given proper clean for months. It was also the room for disable people which is normally given either for that purpose or if the property is overbooked. Went to reception and they gave us another studio, which was appreciated and was definitely better. Nevertheless, made us think on the why we were given that studio in the first place.
The property definitely needs serious refurbishments. The furniture is quite old, some broken and dirty walls. For the price and location is ok for 1night but would not recommend more than that.

Great location with closeness to the Old Port and all activities. Unfortunately the room was dirty and very low standard.
4.0
Great location, everything was convenient. Very noisy outside the property until late at night. Room was very good and the Studio room facilities allowed for options to eat in or out.

Didnt even feel like a cleaner had been in the room.
Heavy black mould in the shower. Half a toilet roll.
No cooking utensils other than a saucepan and fry pan.
Towels and sheets both had stains on them.
Room was noise with no view. Couod hear other rooms and everything outside.
One of the wall plugs was falling out of the wall.
The only good thing about this olace was the proximity to the water front.
Spend a little extra and avoid the place. In our 2 month trip around europe this would be the worst place we have stayed.

Worst hotel ever

Very dirty, everything cracked, broken. For price very underwhelmed.

We stayed for 2 nights to watch the Olympic football between Spain and Morocco. It was a good base for the trip and the kitchenette was very useful. The block is in a quite urban location but it is well placed for the Mucem and the Port generally. The property had a terrace but only a view of adjoining properties. The room was decent but could do with a good dust.

I rang before to ask if l could arrive early and leave my bags and was told l could. But on arrival the female receptionist told me that there was a problem in the baggage room and that l could not, under any circumstance, leave them at the hotel. l had to leave them in a public baggage hold across the street which l was charged for each hour. Then l had to rush back to get my bag on time and then check in. When l checked in l was told by the male receptionist that there was nothing wrong in the baggage room and that l was pretty much lied to. It ruined my whole day. The room was good but there only a light, transparent curtain in the bathroom so the neighbours can see in. I was very uncomfortable with that and so l didn't turn on the light in the evening which was difficult. In the morning when l mentioned it, the receptionist told me that there was a special film on the window so people could not see in. If this is true it is not obvious. Also after the baggage debacle l am not sure that l believed her. All up a nice and convenient place to stay but l'm not sure if l would recommend it.

I recently stayed at Residhotel and was very disappointed with the experience due to the staff’s unhelpfulness and dishonesty.
The room was clean and well-maintained, which was a positive. However, the staff’s attitude was problematic. The fridge in our room wasn’t working, and despite notifying the front desk, no technician arrived. One receptionist said she would check the issue but then went on break and never returned.
The situation worsened at checkout. The baggage storage room, just a few meters from the desk, was accessible with keys given to me by the receptionist so I could retrieve something from our bag. It was the receptionist’s responsibility to open the storage room, yet I was not supervised, and this lack of security meant I could have easily accessed other guests' luggage. During our final visit to collect all our bags, the same receptionist rolled her eyes at me when I simply asked to retrieve our luggage, which added to the frustration.
Despite the clean room, the poor service and the staff's lack of professionalism overshadowed the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to those who value honesty and respect.

The hotel is not as nice as the photos. It’s fine for 1 night but I wouldn’t stay again.

Good location BUT elevators don’t working I carried my 20 kgs luggae to 4 th floor. There is no water in hotel and room. Bath is very old, showerhead was screaming :) hotel needs to renovaiton ASAP!

Hotel is literally close from 12 midnight to 2 pm. If you show up between these time frames you have no one. Door is locked and you are literally waiting them to show up. There wasn’t any hand soap in our room. All the faucets were plugged. The only good thing was the location. If you are looking for a comfortable bed and a hygiene thats not your hotel.

We had ground floor room. in the cupboard was no space, because there were installations. aircon was quite loud.

Looked good at first sight.
The hotel is nicely situated and has some nice sized rooms.
But the doors and restroom needed a cleaning.
We got Bitten by bedbugs and only stayed one night

Mostly great but a hefty deposit was taken and has not yet been credited!

The floor was not clean. The shower had many spots of mold. I asked to fix these problems and they were at least partially solved

Good sized room, pretty clean and quiet. (First floor room). Staff was friendly.

Gloomy rooms, badly furnished and a really dirty shower cubicle. They hadn't cleaned behind its door for years by the look of it.

We came 2 hours before check in, and the woman in the reception was very kind and gave us the room. Unfortunately the room didn’t live up to our expectations at all. The walls were dirty in every room and it was in a very bad condition. We had to deliver the rental car, so we didn’t have time to talk with the hotel staff about this before we got back two hours later. They showed us another room, but it was the same condition. We kindly asked them to cancel our reservation, since we didn’t spend any time in the room yet. Only put our luggage in and left. They didn’t want to cancel any of the dates we booked. We went ahead to find another hotel and had to pay for two hotels.

Not expensive. But don't expect luxury. Good for single business travellers

Great location. Right by the port
Comfy bed and hot shower
Wouldn’t stay again. Extremely basic and room smelt
Remember you get what you pay for.

Pleasant welcome despite arriving at 10pm. All was well explained and efficient.
Hugely appreciated.

Great location near the old port. Good breakfast. Desk closed between 12:30 to 2 pm.

Noisy (night bar in front of our Windows , with its doors and Windows open. loud music, shoutings). Terrible night. Avoid the place from may to septembre (seems to get more quiet in winter Time).

Property is dark, dirty, and overall just needs a renovation. Breakfast was not good.
I’ve paid less at other hotels in Marseille and gotten much better rooms.

A simple but good hotel with a spendid location just by the old harbour. Close to Metro. Sometimes reception staff spoke only french. The bad thing was the bed, a worn out memory foam thing wich my back didn't like at all.

Nice Room with kitchen
Very warm welcome and easy check in
Mattress was good
Needs a bit TLC
Traffic on weekdays may be louder. I stayed on a Friday night and it was ok

Fantastically convenient location - two minutes walk from everything. The Old Port, the tour boats and buses, the Metro, Starbucks, the big shopping mall, restaurants galore.
