Clean chalets, unfortunately there are ants in the kitchen area. Water leaks out from the shower recess. Otherwise great stay.

Self contained cabin that suited our needs for a 2 night stay to explore Katherine Gorge. Expensive for a basic cabin, but you pay for the convenient location. I can’t comment on the restaurant or pool area as we didn’t use these facilities

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great checkin experience. We had advised earlier in the day that we would arrive after hours and were given an after hours number. However, a key wasn’t available as arranged and we waited around 40 minutes for a staff member to arrive. I also rang to check on facilities, staff were unable to answer simple questions. We had to ask people in other cabins to assist us as we were unable to use our mobile phones once we left Katherine. We were concerned that our party of four would have nowhere to sleep. So, not great ….

Comfortable cabin close to the pool and food/cafe area

It was so convenient staying here. The staff were very helpful and the two eating venues were very good.

Great location to stay near the Gorge, cabins were comfortable but an issue with ants maybe it would have been good for venue to supply insect spray and a warning.

Very clean cabins. Lovely to be in the national park. Pool and pool bar nice for a hot afternoon.

The staff were so amazingly helpful in communication, local knowledge and helping us sort everything out given extreme weather events. We look forward to visiting again. Thankyou!!

Nice restaurant and lovely balcony from which to observe the fruit bat colony.Very handy to the wharf for the gorge boat tour.Everything very laid back and staff very friendly.

Great location however our 2 bedroom cabin was very small. Literally only about 18 inches each side and end of the bed in main room. Bathroom so small you could barely get out when you opened the door. Kitchen adequate but not anything special. Spent most of time on deck where more space. For what they charge per night i would have thought a bit larger.
Location was good so you could walk everywhere from your door.

Very disappointed in our accommodation for the price we don't mind ants on the benches but not in every bed that was slept in waking up to ants crawling all over oneself and my husband has a sleep apnea machine there was know power point near the bed to plug in his machine

We stayed at Nitmiluk Chalets as we had an evening dinner cruise booked down Katherine Gorge.
It was perfect, we were able to walk to the jetty from our chalet, so we could safely enjoy our dinner cruise without the worry of driving afterwards.
The chalet was very clean and well supplied and the bed was very comfortable.
Would be very happy to stay here again

The chalets were very quiet; situated at the far end of the camp ground. Amenities were clean, plenty of room to move & sitting on the deck was very peaceful.

The two bedroom cabin had everything you could want even a small deck with a table and chairs. The property is well laid out and very well kept. You can book a cabin, bring your own caravan, RV or pitch a tent. The facilities for these people is great clean shower blocks, BBQ's and fridges to put your food.
The property's location is excellent to Nitmiluk Gorge, but 29kms from the city centre.
The Visitor Centre also located on site is way better than the one at Jabiru. Great displays with even a resident artist! It also has a cafe offering breakfast and lunch.
So to the disappointing things - we stayed for 4 days and our cabin was never serviced. Also the TV never worked which was noted when we checked in but it never got fixed nor were we offered the option to change cabins and they had some free.
Aside from that we would happily recommend this property to everyone, singles, couples and families.

Old and shabby, holes in the wall even. The cabins are very small. Excellent location for gorges tour and hike to the lookout. Visitors centre is lovely. Note that you cannot get dinner unless you are staying at the Cicada lodge.

We loved our stay. Yes, the cabins are a little dated, however they are immaculately clean with comfy beds and good aircon. The pool is lovely. The accomodation is walking distance from the gorge and the sunset hike was simply stunning. Bring all your own food as the onsite cafe has limited in options (particularly November - April 30) Gorge Tour was also well worth it!

Since it was during the wet season it was really quiet at this resort, and not much was open. We mainly went here for the Gorge Boat Tour. The swimming pool was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, despite what Orbitz said in their listing we did not have any internet like we were expecting.

Lovely chalets and great location at the Gorge. Modern, clean and spacious chalets with balcony. The pool was great for a refreshing swim.

These chalets are just perfect for appreciating the natural wonder of the Nitmiluk National Park. They are fully appointed so that you can cook for yourself. Air-conditioned, clean with a little balcony you can sit on and enjoy the serenity and beauty of this incredible place.
Highly recommended.

The property requires some attention as it is a little run down. However not having any wifi or phone service is unacceptable in 2022. The reception area is very nice the cabins are clean but very basic and do require a little love. I also feel that as we booked a dinner cruise the walk back to the accommodation is poorly lit, solar lights along the path and no sprinklers pointing to the paths at the time of the boat coming back to shore so your guests did not get wet would be great. The cruise was excellent and our guide was incredible. Well done.

Cabins were great, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely deck with outdoor furniture - great for balmy evenings. Nice pool with grassy surrounds. Only disappointment was that the poolside bistro wasn't open even though check in instruction referred to checking in at the bistro! Could eat at visitors centre but limited and expensive menu. View of sunset was great though!

The cabins are perfectly equipped and presented clean. Most importantly, it was really quiet at night despite being at the back of the campgrounds.
Probably the one thing to best understand is that the Cabins are not in the Cicada Lodge.

I found the property is pretty much overpriced. Not value for money.

Great to stay in the National Park - very quiet and serene. The staff is super friendly and helpful

We realised that many cafes were going to be closed when we booked but this did prove more of a problem that we anticipated. We had to drive half an hour to buy provisions to cook and cook with. There was very little information regarding cruises and activities available and not much communication forthcoming form the staff. We left a day earlier than planned partly because of the lack of catering facilities. It is a beautiful spot however and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent place to stay for our one night at Katherine Gorge. Nice pool to swim in after our walk with a bar and good food. Lovely relaxing place. So nice to stay out at the Gorge instead of in Katherine.

It is a perfect spot right on the Gorge. Beautiful grounds and helpful staff. I was unable to get through by phone to advise we would be late. yet when we arrived it was easy to find someone to help us to our accommodation.

Nitmiluk Chalets were great, close to all amenities. There was nothing better than coming into a cool air conditioned room after a long hike. The rooms were nice, comfortable, & spacious. The cruise along the Katherine Gorge was fantastic & should be undertaken, we considered the cruise to be the highlight of our stay there. The Baruwei lookout loop hike was also beautiful, and if you can go just before sunset, you won’t be disappointed.
