The stay was comfortable. The breakfast was top notch. The service was excellent and the room had everything I needed. Unfortunately there was one or two nights in which there was a domestic dispute behind my room. And I could hear it like they were in my room. 😿

Cool looking rooms with exposed refinished wood. Clean. Good location.
Staff was amazing, especially the front desk lady on Thanksgiving Day (all were great though). As I’m typing this, I am in another Eugene hotel, adding a second night. There is no comparison in how easy and smooth the process was compared to here (Hayward Inn). Breakfast was great. All of the essentials and they even had some butter packets outside of the fridge so that it was possible to spread it on bread. Sometimes the details make a huge difference. The room i was in was close to the road, which got a little loud the day after Thanksgiving. I left that morning so the noise never bothered me; just something to think about. The AC/heat system fan is pretty loud, which helped drown out other noise.

Recently updated, and really clean. It had a cool vintage vibe. The lobby was cozy and decorated for Christmas. Breakfast was really good!

A great hotel in downtown Eugene Oregon close to alot of shopping and dining

Nice comfortable place to stay. Little noisy with being on the bottom floor from above but overall great place.

I absolute had the best stay, perfect part of town. Dinner, coffee and the Saturday Market was all within walking distance. The room was perfect and quiet. I would most certainly recommend this is THE place to stay!

Great location and a comfortable renovated, vintage property. Great breakfast

We were charged twice for our stay and I’m still trying to get my money refunded. The girl working when we checked in wasn’t very friendly, and while they’ve renovated the rooms nicely, the location is still not great and there’s no insulation from outside noises. Staff stood in front of our window (we could see them) talking loudly for about 20 minutes, oblivious to how that impacts their guests.

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations! Would definitely stay there again

Second time staying at Timbers. The rooms are very clean. Hot water and water pressure is plentiful. Free breakfast has many offerings and is tasty. Front desk staff was lovely. Location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants. The landscaping is beautiful and obviously lovingly attended to. There was a little street noise due to a street sweeper and someone showing off their sports car. I did not need to use the heater but would have been hesitant as it looked to be in need of a good cleaning.

Outstanding property in a great location right downtown. Friendly service, great breakfast, nice atmosphere, clean and attractive rooms. Only drawback was the wooden floors..if you’re on the 1st floor (like me) you might hear footsteps from above. Even so, would highly recommend!

a very nice retro place. small yet all that I needed for a one night stay. if it were anything longer I would have wanted more comfort and room. I didn't realize they have draft beer on site! no one told me - saw it on check-out. Upon check-in I was asked if I had ever stayed here before (no) then she went on to tell me about their breakfast and password, yet nothing of beer (extremely disappointing). The breakfast was very nice; definitely was homestyle made with decent choice.

Fantastic little property which fit my needs perfectly. Staff was really nice and the room had a lot of little upgrades such as bronze switchplates and faucets. Understand that this is not a hotel, doors face outside and the property is small, as long as you’re not expecting the Hyatt you won’t be disappointed.

Retro is in! This is an old-style "motel" that has been completely renovated with all of the modern amenities. The room had a rustic decor with exposed beams and varnished woodwork, but the bathroom had all new updated fixtures and a modern touch. On top of it all, the location is an easy walk to food or to the University of Oregon campus. Maybe buried the lede by not mentioning "Free Parking" sooner.

Perfect location for a quick overnight ! I'll definitely stay again but ask for a room that's not as close to the main road, it was noisy at night and I forgot my earbuds.
Clean, cozy, great shower. And delicious breakfast!

The remodel is great.... But you still feel like you're in a Motel not hotel.... Especially for the price

The attention to detail is so great at Timbers. They had rubber mats for the shower for non slip surfaces. That was so nice because hotel showers are always so slippery! The wall mounted light fixtures on either side of the bed also featured a separate telescoping reading light—great detail!
We loved how this place is remodeled, but still keeps some of the quaint, original design. The bedding was super comfy, it was very quiet, and suuuuuper clean. You can tell they take pride in this establishment.
I didn’t have breakfast, but it looked amazing and was quite the spread! We’d definitely stay here again.

This was my second time staying at the Timbers Inn. It's a cute family-owned hotel. You can really tell that there's a lot of pride of ownership and they care about every detail. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The lobby is super cute and the rooms are very charming.

Great little property, nice breakfast some beverages in the lobby to be had, easy walking around town, what a small motel should be.

I really enjoyed staying here. The room was fairly basic, but the price was fair, the location is central to why I was in Eugene--and the staff were just lovely. They were friendly and helpful and I couldn't have been more pleased. There were a number of amenities that elevated the experience beyond a standard motel. Overall, two thumbs up for the Timbers Inn!

This property has been thoughtfully renovated. The room we stayed in was clean and stylishly furnished. All of the buildings were adorned with gorgeous flowers. A full breakfast was included with our stay. It was delicious and we appreciated the outdoor, covered patio seating area. We walked to a farmer’s market, restaurants and even to Autzen stadium.

This quaint little hotel was a gem. The rooms were recently redecorated with very nice finishings. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower strong and hot. We appreciated the ample breakfast and the free parking. It's in a great location. You can tell there is pride of ownership! And just want to call out the beautiful flower boxes and hanging baskets - nice touch!

This renovated motel used to be our favorite place to stay in Eugene, but the past couple of times we’ve stayed here, it’s been noisy and felt slightly unsafe. We like the changes to the lobby/breakfast area—a breakfast buffet and drinks served—but during our recent stays we’ve had people screaming in the alley at night uncomfortably close to our window.
5.0
Beautiful old motel that was updated perfectly. Eugene has a lot of transients downtown and many were present off premises. There are cameras and lights everywhere on the property and I never felt unsafe. I got the feeling staff would be on any problem that would come up.
The rooms were clean and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was great and I would definitely stay again.
