The stay was terrible due to poor services, I had to wait till 05 PM for check-in and assigned a wrong room and then had to wait another 30 minutes and then gave me the room.

The hotel is perfect for a stay in couple, as for families. A special thanks to all the staff for their professionalism and kindness. We will come back for sure.

Exceptional in very way! This property is managed better than any property we have visited. Every detail from the table settings to outdoor furniture perfectly curated & maintained! Every staff Member is quietly confident and knows and does exactly what they are supposed to do member is quietly confident and knows and does exactly what they are supposed to do without letting us guests know that they are working in the background. We would go back to Suryagarh again any day

Suryagarh was the first stop in our week long Rajasthan trip. We were blown away by its beauty! It was the small things that really stole the show, we’ll placed sit outs that encourage you to spend time outside of your room, the attentive but non intrusive staff, the numerous animals/ birds in the property - peacocks, white pigeons, house dogs (supposedly twins), donkeys, ducks! We had a relaxed evening, enjoying their complimentary folk show (singing & dancing) followed by a very romantic dinner at their Rajasthani restaurant - Legends of Marwar. Our room opened up to their tulsi aangan, where we could easily spend many hours looking up at the night sky. Breakfast in the courtyard with a lot of the birds & animals mentioned was very pleasant. This was accompanied by a local artisan playing the flute from a first floor window. Overall, very romantic and would definitely recommend to others looking for an experience similar to ours. Special kudos to Divya Tripathi, Gaurav from front office & Latif Khan from the restaurant for making our stay special.

Excellent property - great to spend time by yourself in a rustic desert environment. Beautifully decorated hotel that makes you feel that you are back in time . Grand and beautiful!

I thought the property was amazing. But it was soooooo hot - it was unbearable. Also, we wanted to do archery but it was cancelled/not working.

Excellent hotel near desert edge in Rajasthan away from the bustling town of Jaisalmer. Built like a fortress in Rajasthan and Mogul style. Friendly staff. Excellent evening cultural program with genuine local dance and musical local rustic talent. Very comfortable rooms and excellent cuisine. Excellent housekeeping. Only negative difficult direct booking.

A true escape to the desert without roughing it in any capacity. Excellent food and beverage at reasonable rates - a magical atmosphere with local entertainment in the evening and a menagerie of animals in the morning to joIn you for breakfast. There is nothing the staff won’t do to help or source a product / experience for guests. An enormous property with space to relax in and outside of guest rooms. A state of the art air conditioned gym and well equipped games room. I would not consider staying anywhere else after viewing other properties in the area.

The rooms were everything you could wish for and there are lots of places to sit round and about the complex. Restaurant good. Song and dance show on our first night very polished. At breakfast we were entertained not only by a musician piping from on high but also by the menagerie of doves, peacock and donkeys not to mention the owners golden retrievers. The spa was first rate. Couldn’t fault it.

Words cannot describe the level of understated elegance at this hotel which should be catogorized as a retreat or experience. The service is of a high caliber, yet I would call it “care” more than service. Staff remembers what you ordered the day before and will ask if that’s what you would like again. Even though breakfast (included) is a buffet the staff will insist on bringing your eggs that you’ve requested cooked to order or the juice they’ve extracted to your table for you. We stayed at the Villas with an expansive view of the dessert and from our room we could hear the beautiful nightly musical entertainment. The pictures on the web do not do it justice. The Villa is crafted in sandstone with all the details you would see in a royal fort. The attention to detail in the room includes lanterns, and tissue by the bedside in a custom made sleeve. There is a musician in the morning playing a flute in the courtyard, two miniature rescue donkeys led by their handler to promote peace and healing, and in the afternoon a woman chanting. There is an organic garden between the main hotel and the Villas. Words cannot describe the experience, you will just have to come see it for yourself.

It is truly vast place sadly quite some way out of jaisilmer .Modern and efficient if rather soulless .No out door pool either which we Europeans need!Not the sort of place wed want to stay for very long.However Im sure lots of people would find it very impressive.
