Gorgeous setting and adorable cottages the staff was very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.
4.7
Wi-Fi is awful! Could not get on and when we did it was so slow nothing could be done. Besides that the place was fantastic
4.7
Great nearby hiking trails and drives. At base of mountain. Amazing friendly staff. Very clean lodging. Had a great brunch at restaurant on site. General Store on site serves hot or iced coffees and teas.

Great staff. Clean room. Awesome location. If you’re staying in a room in one of the buildings like Columbine bldg bring ear plugs. Walls are pretty thin

The room was very clean with modern, stylish decor. Also air conditioner worked really well, which was nice to get a break from the 90 degree heat outside. The staff was friendly and helpful, with a great location next to a gorgeous trail through the flatirons. I’ll be coming back for sure!
4.7
Beautiful location at the base of the Flat Irons and its hiking trails. Clean updated facilities, while keeping the exterior in it’s original form.
4.7
Beautiful location. Peaceful vibes from check in to walking in to the very cool cabin. Plenty of room, upgraded appliances and fixtures for an older cabin, very comfortable bed breakfast at the dining hall. And of course the hike up Chautauqua and the flat irons loops cannot be beat! What a terrific weekend getaway!!

Only negative is no air conditioning in the columbine lodge—it was a little warm during the day when I was getting my hair and makeup done before our ceremony but it worked out. Evenings were fine with windows open. Overall loved our stay

Everything was great except internet and no tv

I went to visit my son and really enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere and the proximity to the several hiking trails. The park rangers and city of Boulder visitor's department were on site and provided me with guidance to local sites. It was a delightful weekend.

Beautiful, well appointed property. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin and it was perfect myself and my adult daughter. One night a nephew stayed on the pull out couch. We spent most of our time on the porch just hanging out talking. I hiked a couple of trails. The place is gorgeous! Would definitely stay there again.

After checking in we had gone to pearl street mall and then spent the rest of the day at the chautauqua. Getting ready for bed we realized that our sofa bed was not a sofa bed. We had booked a room for 4 adults and we had a room with 2 adults and a 3rd could sleep on the small couch. I went to the office and they admitted they placed me in the wrong cottage and all they could do was give me an air mattress for the 4th adult. This was not what i booked or paid for. I was not offered any compensation for their mistake. My only option was to take the matress or not. I was not happy for my first experience with this organization. Would have to really think about if i will ever return.

Loved the location right at mountain trail and the wonderful porch that I enjoyed my coffee on in the morning.

Very pretty area and property

This is the deal of the century. The cottages are adorable and the surroundings unsurpassed. We loved the beautiful restaurant with views and fireplaces. We enjoyed the hiking trails and the giant green space as well. We can’t wait to come back.
4.7
Loved this cute property- I didn’t realize it’s a historical marker & used to be a teachers dormitory. The rooms are the perfect size for a single traveler- the staff was so lovely & friendly/helpful. Only slight issue is that the room walls are paper thin so you can hear the person in room next door.
4.7
Cute cabins!
4.7
Very quiet, unique place to stay, close to hiking, great views.
4.7
Clean and spacious.. do wish there was a tv
4.7
Great location- walkable to the flatirons hiking trail and to the dining hall which had great food. Also close to Pearl Street. We arrived at night so it was difficult to find the check in building, but we eventually figured it out. Cabin was cute and well furnished.

Always a favorite when visiting Boulder! Such a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Dinning hall has great food and a cozy bar, easy access to the trails, spectacular views and only a 5 minute drive to Pearl Street or CU!
4.7
I had issues with my key card not working a couple times so I had to go down to the front desk both times and get a new key. The ladies at the front desk were rude about it. Slow service at happy hour too. The hotel is a bit dated.
4.7
Super nice location for hiking into the Flatirons. A great restaurant and cafe/gift shop. No TV, but we didn’t care. Very comfortable bed. Weak WiFi was the only negative.
4.7
This is a unique place and worth exploring. Lots of hiking nearby. Extra little touches made the stay memorable.

Very historic property right on the base of the Flatirons in Boulder. Close to everything. Go to the dining Hall for breakfast and dinner - good and reasonably priced. Because of its historic nature, THERE ARE NO TVS.

Loved this place. Cozy, comfy, actually felt like I was in the mountains. Dining Hall was delicious. Definitely want to come back!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Chautaqua! We ended up with a cabin right off of the trail which made access for hiking super easy (and also provided a nice view for morning coffee). Can't wait to visit again!

This property is historical and quaint. The cottage was darling and backed up to hiking trails into the Flatiron Mountains. Great stay!

And the charm and rustic quaintness- unmatched!
