We arrived well after midnight to find the hotel is about 20 minute walk from the station. After walking straight past the taxi 'touts'? at the station entrance and down the road about 50 meters to properly liveried taxis, we found one who knew the hotel ( from a picture we brought with us and printed off the internet showing the front of the hotel).Staff were friendly but spoke no English at all and communication was via on line translator which seemed to be effective but was, of course immensely time consuming. Room was clean but so, so noisy as the hotel is on a main road and it was nearly impossible to sleep even though we were tired from the long train journey. It is not just the engine noise, it is drivers tooting their horns all through the night - which is what seems to happen in China! Which is fine until you need to get to sleep! The towels were paper thin and small and the beds were very hard with only one pillow and no spares.Breakfast finished early so we missed that and we were told that the restaurant, as listed, was not open for any further meals at all and no room service. In desperate need of sleep and a hot drink and some food, we found another hotel and moved out within a couple of hours. Communication barrier meant we were unable to discuss our problems with the staff in any meaningful way.

This hotel provides well equipped rooms with comfortable beds. The surroundings are rather bland, but the place is perfectly acceptable as a base for daytime exploration of nearby sights. Breakfast is available for a small charge.

Excellent value for money. Hotel was clean and the reception was friendly.
It's located on a major road and is about 10-15 min walk from the train station. Very convenient for catching public transport to other parts of the town or to visit Mountain Lu.
There is a Walmart within walking distance (north) from the hotel, which was great for getting various supplies.
