When checking in, the receptionist is kind and helpful and smiles, patience.
On 18 Nov, I informed the receptionist I will be a bit late check out as I will went to department store, He agreed and did not mentioned exactly time I must back otherwise need to be charged. The receptionist was not kind and very angry, no any smiles both the manager and the staff handling the case.
I can not experience hospitality service in this staying period.

Overall, this location was amazing. Within a 5-10 minute walk from the main Sapporo station. We arrived first day in the rain and it was easy enough to find. They assist you with check in at a machine that prints out a key (colour coded for male vs female so that you can use the shared 'bath' on the property). Though we never used the shared bath, the parking was easy enough to get to (on the side of the building - not the front), the lounge had a microwave, water and coffee/tea. Property was clean, albeit room felt a bit small but on par with most hotel rooms in Japan.
Though I am not a huge fan of carpets on the floor, it seemed clean overall? We always had the slippers provided so that we were not walking around with bare feet.
Staff were friendly and the location was perfect. Would go back for convinience.

Nothing fancy, but quite pleasant stay from business traveler’s point of view.

Good location. Good breakfast. One suggestion: Need more English tv channels if you want more international clientele.

Good location but not recommended during summer. The blinds do not block out sunlight from 4am.

The hotel is 5 mins walk from the station with restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff are polite and friendly. Highly recommend!

Very close to Sapporo Station. Lots of dining and shopping close by. Bed was a little hard. Overall a good stay.

Rooms look old, no USB charging.
3 hangers in a room for 2 guests are not enough.
Variety of food in breakfast have room to improve. Salad vegetable and toppings aren’t fresh enough.
Staffs are good and helpful.

In all honesty, I want to be upfront with potential guests: I advise against staying here. While the price per night may be low, I believe it's not worth compromising your health. Upon entering our room, we were greeted by the smell of smoke and noticeable stains on the carpet and walls, despite booking a non-smoking room. Realizing we would essentially be exposed to secondhand smoke all night if we stayed, we promptly left and opted to stay at the highly recommended Cross Hotel instead. However, we were only refunded for three out of the four nights, which, in my opinion, doesn't demonstrate proper customer care. All in all, take your money somewhere else!

Liked the location- close to the train station the room that I chose was too small ( never had that tight space)
But it was equipped with everything I needed thou.
Wish two beds(dbl size) can be smaller (twin size)then we would have more space .
Liked the food -breakfast - buffet area was real tight to move around with a tray.

Very convenient, only 5mins walk to JR Sapporo station.

A little dated but room was reasonable size for Japan and had absolutely everything. Comfy bed and pillows, great wifi, spotless bath and shower, blackout curtains etc. Just a few minutes from the main station and near a selection of local bus stops so perfect for days out. Staff were efficient and we had a great stay here .

Just needs English instructions for the air conditions, as it's all in Japanese. Otherwise great location

Very nice hotel located by the train station. Has an underground route that has many shopping and dining places. It also connects to the train station so you dont have to worry about the bad weather.
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I slept long and well compared to the two other hotels I stayed at. This hotel probably had a more mature crowd. Hotel was quiet, so I was able to sleep much longer.

Rooms are very small for Hokkaido standard. Slightly larger than my hotel in Tokyo. We did not have enough space to open up 2 luggage and have to take turns.
Good thing is that it is very near Sapporo stn which we walked 5 mins to get to. Not much dining options nearby, have to go to Sapporo stn for more options.

Room is small but I think it is common for most of the hotels in Japan. I only stayed for 1 night (late check-in and early check-out), so it was fine for me.

Size of rooms were on the smaller side. Bed were big and comfortable. Staff was very nice and assisted with holding luggage before check in time. Hotel is walking distance from convenience stores and train station.

The Onsen is a bit small & always been crowded can’t really able to relax .. room a bit small then expected.

Very close to Sapporo station, less than 5 mins walk.
Lots and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants surrounding the hotel. Very comfortable bed, complimentary tea and coffee at the lounge daily. We enjoyed their bath facilities and managed to catch some movies on Netflix every evening. We cannot wait to come back for more delicious food.

My mother and her friend stayed in this hotel. Everything is just so good. Distance to Sapporo station, breakfast, public bath, room cleaning and bedding were all good to saty safe and to feel comfy. I like Mitsui Garden Hotel in Japan so I would reserve this hotel when I go to Sapporo.

Very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the JR Sapporo train station and nearby subway.
A standard queen room was booked for 3 nights (2 travellers) and I was delighted to receive an upgrade offer of 4,000 yen per night which effectively doubled the floor space.
Windows can be slightly opened which is great for getting some fresh air.
Public bath is functional with one main hot tub. Would be good to include a cold bath as well.
The guestroom bath/shower is one of the best I have seen with options for overhead shower, hand held/adjustable shower head and side jets.
Tip: make sure to check if you are staying in the main or west buildings as these have their own reception and are located next to eachother.
Would gladly stay here again.

A pleasing stay in a clean and cosy room. Liked the decor, the public bath and proximity to Sapporo Station. A good standard budget hotel - quiet and conveniently located. Included breakfast offered a tasty range of Japanese and Western food.

I enjoyed my three-night stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel! I was able to park my rental car in the garage (rotating loop) right next door (1,500 yen per day; the attendant was very friendly). Check-in was quick; the front-desk staff member too was very friendly. In my booking, I asked for a quiet room on a high floor; I was given an end room on the highest floor. Thank you! Breakfast was good--a variety of mostly healthy items, and the menu changed somewhat daily. The hotel has a small onsen on the second floor, but it was nice. I also liked the fact that the hotel has two washer /dryer machines (one on the 6th floor; one on the 12th), which came in handy. The room itself was a little small, but I knew that when I booked it; the room was clean and well furnished. The hotel is just a few hundred meters from Sapporo Station. It was an easy walk for me. I would gladly consider staying in this hotel again when I return to Sapporo!
