It was OK. The image of old world charm needs to be backed up with quality furnishings and fittings. Although interesting the rooms are ‘tired’with some maintenance required on walls, taps, shower (dirty), blankets (dirty), even the AC. Service is friendly rather than efficient. Transit from car park to accommodation would be uncomfortable in rainy weather. Menu at restaurant was good and prices reasonable

We were so excited to stay here as we love the Victorian era, but unfortunately we were put in a balcony suite, not a Victorian suite that we had booked.
We double checked our booking and it was for the Victorian suite, but the owners said these aren't big enough for families. This needs to be updated on the hotels. Com site, as this created disappointment. We still loved the manor, and the grand entrance however and had a great stay.

A wonderful view out to the ocean from the garden and an easy walk to Gallery Walk - what better location to explore Tamborine Mountain!
We thoroughly enjoyed being there on a Monday night when a group of musicians come together for a jamming session in the restaurant - a lovely meal and great music.
This is, however, an ageing property with lots of work to be done - but, although needing an update, our room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property, just a 10 mins walk from dining and shopping at Gallery Walk. Beautiful gardens. The manor itself is dated but that is their selling point. The bed was comfortable and room was fitted with a heater and AC. The restaurant and bar are open on limited days but are good.
We stayed one night. The room was not properly cleaned prior to us checking in. The coffee machine still had old coffee in it. The room floor was dirty and there was some mold looking stains all over. We left the hotel sick with cold like symptoms but I can't confirm where the infection came from. The owners are really old, I felt bad complaining so didn't say anything. It could be a good place to stay if the cleaning is done well.

Large rooms. Old but you have everything you need.
A bit of a “take it or leave it” attitude from the front of house. Bar and restaurant staff were great.

The hospitality could have been way better. Greetings were missing, atmosphere was not very cordial, however it could add so much more value to the place. Wasn’t very welcoming, wouldn’t choose to go back again.

We booked a long weekend away for our our Wedding Anniversary and it stated that they are pet friendly. . . After a two hour drive we then found out that they were not.
They were VERY rude about this situation and we were not allowed to stay. In our notes we mentioned we had a small dog and to inform us if this is a problem. . . they did not inform us then we had another two hour drive home.
We conntacted WOTIF for a refund and they were VERY helpful but again when WOTIF contacted them they were very rude.
On the service alone we will not be going back

We booked 4 x rooms and all were clean and had everything we required. We all loved the size of each of the bedrooms. We also loved the fact that once we parked the cars we could walk to everything we wanted to do for the week-end.

Maybe because of wet weather, the building was musty and damp. Check-in was 3 pm and we arrived at 1:15 pm. No one was there, the telephone number provided for contact didn't work. After 3 pm we could meet a staff working there. It's really close to the mail road and every shopping places. Not sure if I will stay there again with my family, though.

Overall a little disappointed with the property, I think it has seen better days. Also, the Restauant was closed for the whole Weekend

This was a relaxing older style property, which was great for a mountain retreat.

This is just a general comment for the area, nothing open Sunday night for dinner in quieter times.
Apart from that everything was great 👍 👌

I booked two rooms and both were not up to the mark. They had bugs, cockroaches, mosquitoes and crawling insects. The patio door in one of the rooms was broken and no fly screen to stop flies to come in. There were lizards at the entrance of the residential building. I checked in right after a major storm hit the area. There was power outage in the area with no cafes, restaurants open. So I had get the frozen food from the IGA. The hotel manager denied my request to use his oven to heat up the food. It was terrible experience in this property during such unprecedented situation.

They did a amazing job despitr having to endure a cyclone that cut power to the town. They had a generator already set up and didn't miss a beat. Thanks for the great food and accommodation!

Stayed here on a Thursday night when there was no staff to check in and the bar and restaurant were closed. Great location close to Gallery Walk but feel the place needs a revamp as the accomodation is looking tired - not great that the paint of the whole ceiling trim in the bathroom was peeling off. Like the historical aspect of the Manor and would enjoy staying here again after a refresh of the facilities.

Was a beautiful old Victorian property, beautifully furnished. Was good to have restaurant and bar on site. Pool area was very nice and inviting, but weather wasn't for swimming. Owners were very friendly, helpful and inviting.

Absolutely loved our stay here. This is an old property but it is immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed. Very spacious room with a separate sitting area with settee. Water pressure in shower was supersonic! Had roast beef in the restaurant and it was delicious. Would stay again without hesitation.

We have stayed at numerous hotels on every level, but I’d have to say this hotel was one of our favorites. It is charming, nostalgic and unique . From the simple check in to our delicious meals, we were impressed.
Lots of beautiful birds to observe in quite beautiful surroundings with shopping and an array of restaurants within walking distance. The owners are lovely and keep the hotel well oiled. This place is truly one of a kind!

A lovely, 'old charm' hotel. The expansive foyer and sweeping staircase decorated with old paintings and grandfather clock give the place an English Manor house feel. Rooms are spacious and the four-poster bed a lovely statement piece. It could do with a lick of paint, but is otherwise a wonderful place to stay!
The town is a short walk away and the brewery over the road does great food and a fabulous selection of beers.
If you are there for the walking, access to the trails is extremely easy.
Such a great place!
