lovely hotel! great zone!

We drove in from Nice, late at night. GPS wasn't giving exact location, so I called the hotel
The night manager was very helpful in guiding us to the right place. Our room was very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located within walking distance of the Old Port and La Panier areas. Parking garage ($$$) is located a street over, but we were able to load and unload the car in front of the hotel. We didn't have the breakfast buffet, but it smelled wonderful.

The fitness area was closed, the pool was closed and the elevators were broken. Had to carry out luggage down the stairs!!

I booked this hotel only for it’s pool and when I try to use it I was told that pool wasn’t available

Great stay at this hotel. Very convenient to restaurants, shopping and historic areas of downtown. Highly recommended!

Area was difficult to navigate and very busy. Restaurants were closed early and choices were limited. Staff was very friendly and attentive and hotel was very nice as was breakfast option.

Great place to start a few days, they offer all services and staff is really nice and helpful.

The hotel is in a good location, the metro stop and Sant Charles station are nearby. There are shops and restaurants nearby and walkable as well. The room was comfortable and clean, with a good amount of storage shelves for clothing. The shower setup was odd. The shower head faced outward toward the door with a small glass pane in place that did not stop water. It was very tricky to shower without completely flooding the small bathroom floor.

Room much too small.

Staff are excellent. Location is ok, some walking required to the old dock. The only issue is the intense smell from german kebab places adjacent to the hotel. Room 510 was very good and comfortable (if only there was places to enable drying towels and stuff). Pool is small but a good opportunity to refresh after a long day in Marseille. They keep the luggages in a room near the desk, which saved us big time! Special thanks to dear Tanguy.

The inside of the hotel and staff were amazing but the area felt unsafe and extremely dirty. There was trash everywhere! Would not visit again for this reason and actually left a day early because we did not feel safe.

Great stay. Would highly recommend. Great location, large, clean rooms and an amazingly friendly staff.

Tasteful, unique property in an area close to the historic Panier quartier and the hip, lively dockside district. Fabulous selection of restaurants close by. Hotel staff friendly and helpful..amazing breakfast too!!

Sarah and the other receptionist were amazing. They are accommodating and professional.
The internet is very slow at night. If you plan to work remote at night not ideal. I had two zooms meetings and bother were a disaster and embarrassing.
The 306 and 206 have some molds in the shower. It could be better with cloroz maybe.
Nice pool and sauna.
Great location close to public transportation

This hotel is conveniently located about 10 mins walk from the main port area and serves a nice breakfast. The downside for our stay was the tiny bedroom and poor mattress which was too soft and dented from use.

My best friend and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel La Joliette from June 23rd to the 25th and the staff was the best; Antonin especially was helpful with advising us on places to go and eat! He even took the time to map out the different locations for us. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the lady who served it; she was always friendly. The other staff members, Cerina, Domenico, Michael, and Sarah, were equally delightful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located in good location, there are several tasty and cheap places to eat. By metro and tramway. There is a quite big shop nearby. Not worth if you are looking a hotel with a pool, because it is very small and only two seats by pool. If there are more then 2 pers, then it is already crowded. Worth to choose for location.

I liked the close proximity to the marina and all its transport links, wonderful bars and restraunts
Quite a bit of construction nearby but what city hasn’t. Some not so nice areas of the beaten tracks. Again same with most cities

Property was a good city hotel. Rooms on the small side. Perfectly clean, usual washing extras. 15 min walk to the old marina transfer links easy.

Marseille is such a loveable place ...enjoyable to explore despite being amazingly busy. On average the people in this city are friendly, helpful and wise - the visitors and the locals alike.

Good location. Pool perfect for one or two people to swim. Allocated times made this possible. Rooms small but well equipped, comfortable and clean.

Good location, close to the metro and near "Le Panier" and a nice mall by the sea. and nice staff. The room was comfortable but pretty small and the wifi didn't work very well. Overall, it was ok but not 4 stars.

Decent small hotel very near to La Joliette metro station. Walkable from Marseille St. Charles train station, takes about 20 mins. Hotel room was relatively small and compact. They optimized the space quite well. Comfortable bed. Free bottled water (once per stay). Paid mini bar inside room. Small but clean bathroom. Good quality toiletries provided. Iron/ironing board provided on request. Breakfast was good with decent options, however provision for order-to-make eggs was not available (which was the only drawback in my opinion). Bar available but no in-house restaurant. However one can order room service through reception staffs. Staffs are helpful and courteous. Free use of swimming pool and sauna available at specified times. Would consider coming backWould consider coming back

Very nice hotel for a great price. Good, quiet location too with local amenities and only a 10/15 minute walk to the Old Port.

Good hotel in a very good location. Was able to take advantage of the pool for a quick dip. The breakfast was ok. The women helping was being run ragged as there were a great deal of people at breakfast.
Overall the hotel was with the price!

Excellent stay in a pleasant hotel with a perfect location, at a walking distance from the new area(Terrasses du Port mall and Mucem area).Very small rooms but extremely clean and nothing is missing: comfortable beds, safe and minibar, and even coffee/tea corner. But the air condition was not working at this season and it was very hot in the room during the night. Very nice staff, really helpful and welcoming.
Good breakfast

Our room, although a fabulous bed, was dark as if in the basement. I thought this hotel had a water view. The pool was completely inside/ no windows and cold. The steam room was great.... but no one told us at check in that we had to tell them 15 minutes before we wanted to use it so they could turn it on. More communication is needed about this. The area this hotel is located in is quite sketchy and felt uncomfortable to walk outside. We were back slightly after dark...as we felt unsafe.

Convenient. Great staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Quiet. Overall a great place to stay in Marseille.

Great value centrally located hotel. Room and facilities were above expectations for a French hotel at this price point.
