A lot of construction and deteriorating property. It was far better a few years ago.

I use to enjoy staying. Now, construction everywhere, limited lighting at night, dated and old furniture.

We had a very, very nice time! We saw Athens and swam a lot!

The staff was so kind and caring. The room and entire area was very clean. Highly recommend. It’s a walking distance from the mall and bakeries and so on.

This place had everything we needed for a hold over location arriving after midnight. Easy to locate. 24hr check in. Our flight was delayed we didn't arrive until 3am. They gave us an extra hour for checkout 1200pm. They will hold our luggage and we are able to hang out at the pool until check in time for our Cruise. Room was clean with AC. Floors need to be replaced(water damage and cracked tiles).

It was a quick stay fir business purposes. Very good welcome at check in. Very helpfull staff. Room was clean, but the bed not very comfortable.
Patio that you could have a beer, or eat something wasnt very clean. Breakfast quality was ok.
I will stay again if I want to stay at Marousi area.

We stayed here for 3 nights, lovely big room with a big balcony, I walk away from the mall that had lots of shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely return.

Construction on property. Room was not as advertised. Got room above construction area

Convenient for the Olympic stadium for a concert but far too expensive for what we got.
The gardens , restaurant , pool and surrounding area was awful.
Room was fine.

It is in a good area and only a few blocks from the metro train.

Great service
5.0
Quiet area with easy access to the Metro to get to the centre of Athens.
Staff always friendly and helpful
We have stayed at this Hotel for many years when we visit our Greek friends in Marousi.
Many rooms have now been refurbished, most overlook the Pool. Plenty of places to sit outside

This hotel is located in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. The Staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, and the grounds are quiet and open. The only downside for me is that there too few restaurant and shopping options within walking distance. I also recommend ordering taxis through the Uber app since it may be difficult to find an empty cab passing through the area.

We loved it all! This was my third time staying here and they have always been considerate, helpful, and kind.

Really great experience staying at the property. Surrounding and transport is very helpful and convenient.

The room was a bit downmarket for 115 Euro a night. I have stayed in Superb properties in London a more expensive city for the same price and with amazing facilities. However, at the Civitel Marousi the rooms are a bit tired. The bathroom was positively Soviet. The showerhead hung down 0n the floor as the bracket was broken, and the shower area was covered in back mold. I had to ask for coffee facilities in the room when my colleagues explained they had coffee in their rooms. This was booked as a superior room but it wasn't unless the other rooms were terrible. Breakfast was OK and the saving grace was the cleaners kept the room very clean. The worst thing was a school party with teenagers raging around the building until 4 am like a prison riot. There was so much screaming I thought at one stage that a girl was being attacked. When I called reception nothing much happened. I would avoid this hotel.

Services have improved a lot since last year, that I stayed at the same hotel. Staff was friendlier and they accommodated every request. I like the location because it is very accessible to a main artery (Attiki Odos) and to subway and train stations. I will visit again next year.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. They do not clean the room daily, only upon request. There is no table outside, just two chairs. No Ashtray. The pool is overwhelmed by the locals and so sun-lounges are limited. Finally, my daughter wasn’t feeling well so my wife stayed at the hotel whilst I went to a restaurant with our son. She chose to get room service instead of the gyros where I was. We ordered at the same time, my son and I ate and arrived back to the room, my wife’s food still hasn’t arrived. About 30 minutes later she called the restaurant to be told sorry can’t help you now because we closed the kitchen at 10pm. She ordered at approx 8! This place overall is a m disgrace. Good for a night or 2 at best.

It lived up to expectations- apart from a little dated for the price it was ok! Only stayed one night breakfast was good and very close to mall with variety of Food options

Having swimming pool and restaurant in the middle of property was keeping it lively almost all the time during the day.
Very quite place.

Convenient late check in, after midnight. Parking in the area around the hotel is easy . Room is spacious and clean , bathroom needs a renovation. Balcony is quite big and the free minibar is a big plus .The hotel building could have some improvements in common spaces. Breakfast had a big variety and it was tasty . The restaurant was good as well .Ask for cleaning the day before , as they do it on demand. The staff was accommodating , professional and polite and they assist us on all of our requirements. Area around the hotel is safe , although you need to have a car if you want to move around. It takes time to go to the center with public transport , but it is convenient if you want to be close to the airport.

Ok to find but google map leads you to the old entrance which is now locked. Public parking nearby was relatively easy to find. Checkin was friendly and nice. Pool was closed presumably due to pandemic. Room ok and clean. Aircon was a bit difficult to control. Dinner and breakfast of sufficient but not high quality.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, covid rules observed. Enjoyed my stay also this time.

Our second visit to this Hotel - 7 night stays - convenient to visit our Greek friends who live in Pefki. Quiet rooms, clean - friendly staff. Nearby to Metro for trips into central Athens. Good Shopping Mall nearby.
Reasonable price - Good Buffet Breakfast with plenty of choice.
Hope to stay again later this year.

My room was spotless, however, I had requested something handicap accessible and this was not. The shower stall needed the ability to step up into it and the way it was designed, chopped off 1/8th of the stall. The air-conditioning was not manageable. The only way suggested to turn it off was to open the window. Which I did but it's a residential area so, with dogs barking across the street, it wasn't quiet. But the staff was super nice and they got on the phone immediately with whomever was in charge (and mind you, it was late at night) and they were able, after many tries, to figure out how to close it from the room's controls. The pool smelled of something I can only describe as fish urine & the surrounding area wasn't designed well. It has a lawn and in the morning, after morning dew, you go to step on it and you sink into mud. Plus humidity attracts mosquitos so I became a meal. They don't remove the lounge pillow overnight so when I sat on one I wet my shorts so it literally looked like I "wet" myself. In addition there was bird poop on some. The lounge covers are also extremely stained. I just couldn't enjoy the pool area at all. I wasn't able to go into the pool since I was crutches but I at least wanted to sit by it. The position of the lounge umbrellas was also not taken into consideration when it was designed. They provide no shade.

1. Google map pointed us to the locked gate and we had to walk around the block to look for the hotel entrance. 2. Free parking is mentioned on the webpage but we were told to park on the street when we asked about parking at check in. 3. When we made the booking, mini bar was included in the silver exclusive booking. When we asked the stuff while checking in, she informed no mini bar due to Covid. We totally understand due to the situation but this should not be listed on the webpage. We checked the page again before writing this review and the mini bar is off the list. 4. The room was stuffy when we walked in and it took a while for the ventilation to kick in. 5. The room and the washroom was clean. Overall, everything was okay for a 3.5 star hotel.

Not a very welcome experience. Their website and GOS take you to a locked door that used to be the hotel entrance. No sign posted that the entrance changed, years ago, to around the corner. No answer on the phone. You have to figure it out and walk around the corner. No bell boy or any sort of help with luggage. They give you a cart that hasn’t been maintained to haul your own luggage. And the answer is”it’s not on the website that we have such services”. Oh, no coffee maker or anything. For the money in Marousi is not worth it!
