Perfect getaway for the busy town of Bath. All hotels are pricey so it is very much worth pushing out the boat a bit and getting your money's worth
4.6
Lovely stay in a great location in Bath. 7 minute walk to the centre. Amazing view from room.
4.6
The location is good. Otherwise the accommodation is mostly average with some thoughtful touches. The bathroom and toiletries were very nice. What is unacceptable is that we were told the water from the bathroom tap is unfit for drinking, but were also told we had to pay for water, other than the first complimentary bottle. We were staying for two nights.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Ayrlington, it is perfectly located close to the city centre but in a quiet area, the staff were all so friendly and welcoming and our room (Tulip) was large and comfortable. Both the room and communal areas were beautifully decorated and breakfast was delicious with friendly service. We will definitely stay again!

First time that I have stopped at this individual hotel, and it was very friendly, an offer of a local map of Bath was great. Its good to stop in a 'local hotel' where opening the door to a room was a surprise unlike the generic chain hotels

Lovely 2 night stay at hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Parking was a bit tricky but we were grateful that it was there. Thank you

The reception staff, Bianca in particular, were so helpful with all aspects of our stay including carrying our bags up the stairs, suggesting places to go and walk to, assisting with parking and lovely breakfasts. We loved our stay!

Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast, and gluten and lactose intolerances catered for. Great bathroom and room decor. But the bedroom carpet was a bit tired and the mattress felt a bit saggy.
4.6
The property is in a great location, very walkable to any location. It felt safe. The rooms were of a good size and the bathrooms clean and updated.
4.6
We had a lovely stay, in a clean and comfortable room. The location was fantastic, so easy to walk to all of the key attractions.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast very good, couldn’t fault it in any way. Twin room very comfortable, and staff eager extremely helpful.

Attractive, comfortable hotel. Very friendly and competent staff. Large room. Modern, marble bathroom with walk-in shower. Lovely breakfast room with a view of the garden and nice breakfast. Room was quiet despite being in the front of the hotel on a busy street.
4.6
Very nice setting, lovely grounds and wonderful staff.

Enjoyed our brief stay, staff was friendly and can’t fault the rooms

It was an amazing experience. Cozy, like been at home away from home. Fr9nt desk was very helpful a d kind. Walking distance to the center of town where you can take any tout, eat any tipe of food, or just enjoy the beautiful architecture and history of the area. Parks to walk and relax as well. Willbe back!!

Good location as very easily walkable to city centre and staff are great. But this is not a 5 star hotel, not the cleanest; there was hair in our bathroom and walls dirty. Not as beautiful as the pictures quite deceiving.
4.6
Wonderful stay , staff friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be returning and already recommend to others .

Away from the bustle of Bath center but an easy lovely walk to the hub of activity!

The lady on the reception was extremely nice and friendly, great location and spacious room. In general the hotel needs a bit of renovation, cleaning the curtains and windows to be 5/5.

Loved Casey & her help to get us settled.
Strongly suggest a Dumb Waiter for the luggage. Loved the room, clean, roomy & very comfy.

I stayed here in November with my partner, the staff went above expectations to make sure our stay was special after informing them that the trip was for a special occasion. The room was clean and characterful and the location was ideal for walks into the city centre and Christmas market. We will definitely be making this an annual tradition!

This is a great hotel to stay in for a nice break in Bath.
The location is perfect. When you leave the hotel door it’s a short walk in either direction to get you into the center of Bath.
The staff are really polite and were helpful with suggestions on restaurants and things to do.
Our room was superb. At the back of the hotel overlooking what I believe is part of the rugby ground. A huge room. Kept nice and clean.
We had breakfast on 1 day and it was really nicely cooked. Next day we went to Sally Lunn’s for breakfast to tick things from the’to-do’ list which I highly recommend.
A very enjoyable stay.

We have stayed here twice and will return again…Casey was so much fun and helpful.. highly recommend!

Paid £180 for a double room, the website does a very good job of selling something that is average at a premium price. No breakfast including and parking £10 extra which I thought was not good having paid a lot of money for not a lot!
4.6
Our stay at the Ayrlington was wonderful! Staff were very helpful and kind, breakfast was quick and easy, and it was walkable to the city center.
4.6
We loved our stay and will absolutely return. We stayed in the Grand Suite and it had a private sitting room overlooking the garden with gorgeous windows, skylights and a view of the Abby. The staff was very hospitable. 5/5 in every way.

Fab welcome from the very friendly and helpful Kara on reception, lovely big and very clean room (The Empire room, with the four poster bed), great tasty breakfast served by the very friendly and helpful Jane, and the (admittedly small but manageable with care) car park for just £10 per day, right outside.
Only a 10 min stroll into the centre so great location for all the main attractions including seeing a play in The Royal Theatre House, as we did. Easily walkable and a chance to have a break from driving.
Highly recommended and we’ll definitely return there again soon. Thank you to all at The Ayrlington.
